I was looking at the recent E3 demos the other day on youtube after watching yahtzee hop skip and jump his way out of delivering any serious thoughts on what was at E3 but when i looked at this motion sensor bar thing with voice recognition i thought this really is the future of gaming hardware. The wii pales in comparison to what was seen in just tech demos. so if you dnt know what it is yet go have a look and then discuss what games you'd like to see me personally i would love to see soul caliber style game or l4d survival with that other headset technology that is being developed for second sight were not far from virtual reality now peeps.....

I too would want to see some arcade based game, like Tekken and such.

I think I would prefer the Sony technology, since there prolly will be complications when there is a camera that looks at you. Imagine your dog jumping on you -.-. Or someone walking by.

With the Sony do-hikkie, it would be totally awesome to have a Star Wars game! Zum zum pew pew zum pew! Lightsabers!

However, force powers would work perfectly with Natal, just wave your hand, and off your enemies go ^.^

Some kind of Halo title where you have to hold out your hands in a certain way to simulate a gun. Although on reflection not a Halo title as that means my favourite franchise has now gotten consumed by the gimmicks so just any FPS.

Natal hasn't killed anything. It's not even out yet, and tech demos show what the console is ideally capable of. If anything the PS3's motion controller tech demo is superior. For all you know there could be a number of factors and problems that one could run into when it comes to games.

Kind of like the bodypad.

2006 ftw. That reminds me I might have to get one of those.

I would like controller/Natal integration. Imagine in an FPS - you push on the left analogue stick to move, but stop, brace yourself againdt a wall, and peer round it. Or you charge an enemy building and kick down the door, crouch, and shoot.

Mirrors Edge, I'd love to see how they pull that off.

Sure =). However that is too simple. The game recognizes moves, and then does the moves it knows. Is that from 2006?

I wasn't even aware ps3 had anything out like thatgonnna go check now and although it isnt out yet the wii will not be able to compete against this technology not saying they will go under (far to many people own them now and casual gamers and non gamers can play the wii)

Deadpool: The game.
Arm waving at it's most exhausting.

Burnout paradise seems a cool game to play on natal, but apparently ricochet is really quite fun.

None. I can tell you right now it's not going to work like you've seen. There will probably be some 'Eye-Toy-ey' games but nothing more.

I want to see games that are new and creative. Which means I don't want to just see old games that use random movements or holding your hands out to pretend you are holding an in-game item instead of a standard controller. That's Eye Toy, PC Web Cams, and Wii problem, and I hope Natal doesn't join the list.

- A music game in which you are an Orchestra. A Wii Music like idea, but stronger in presentation, creativity, and variety of ideas. Conducting and free-styling bands can be quite amusing after all.
- Shadow Puppets or Charades.
- A Bob Ross game to paint Happy Little Trees. Or see if you can create the same type of art masterpieces some elephants have.
- Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots.
- Paperboy.
- Star Wars Trilogy Arcade game. I just want this period, be it Natal, PS3 Eye, or Wii.
- Something akin to Kirby Canvas Curse

Anything really, just as long as it takes advantage and is not cheap cash-ins or me-toos that foolishly replace motions instead of standard buttons and make a game worse.

Though I should note I actualy don't care much about Natal game wise. It's user interface I see it being great at.

Sword fighting sim. A proper one sans shitty Weeabo katanas and combos and powerups.

Proper Talhoffer poking squishy things with razor sharp steel bars. They should include Zweihanders and claymores (the big kind, claymore refers to a scottish long sword, the names meaning changes over time, a claymore in the 19th century was a basket hilt broadswod bigger thanthe English troops equivalent) just to see the two swords/one big sword crowd flail & get torn apart by a onehanded user :D

Swordplay : Vikings, could just be slashing seaxy madness, shields and ax play Wheeeee
Swordplay : Medieval, could be all about armour breaking
Swordplay : Renaissance, could focus entirely on the stabbing and slashing.

just seen the ps3's version and no offense to anyone but its not even close to project natal its just crap really the 360's motion sensor doent need controllers what the ps3 has is a dildo with a red light on the end wooooooooooooooo and as for the "tracking" as they keep screaming if you notice its not seamless its lagging and its not 100% accurate so no threat

Xbox 360's Will killer? I'm confused, why are we trying to kill Will Wright again?

But seriously, Natal is not going to be the "Wii-killer" that some people think it will. More likely than not, you're going to see the same thing that happened to the Wii in the beginning happen to Natal: A few good games that take advantage of the technology, but a lot more shovelware games made for a quick buck. In fact, we're also probably gonna see this happen to Sony's Wand. This kind of thing happens with any new technology in games, and it's a sad thing to see no matter which system you own.

On-topic, I'd really like to see if Milo can actually live up to the hype that Peter Molyneux loves to exaggerate so much.

Well I would say something from the elder scrolls series, but that still requires buttons, which brings me to an interesting conclusion, there are two major things holding Natal back
The first is the fact that you need buttons in any real gamers game because you cannot move your character using Natal cause there will never be enough space
The second comes into play with fighting, what's the one thing no motion control can simulate?, Resistance, if you smash a sword against a wall in real life the movement stops on impact but sense there's nothing to push back in real life you keep moving which can cause tracking problems and break emersion

I'd Like to see a game were you can smack Bill Gates and any other Microsoft Official round the face for thinking adding such a blatent rip off of the eye toy was a good idea to add to Xbox's increaingly non-inovative repitoire. I would also like to be able to hold up the slaes report to the officials faces and watch them cry because the Wii is still selling more and then being able to tell them "If I didn't work when the Playstation 2 tried it why would it work now, you blithering retards".

17th century Rapier Dueling. That would rock.

Read this. It's by someone who has actually tried the product and can tell you that it works perfectly.

tl;dr: It works nearly perfectly, it can recognize you in 3d space, it can recognize more than one person and it works even when thre are no lights on.

edit: oooooops forgot to link O_o

I dunno. I think the technology is really cool and has some potential but--I like having a controller.

Training simulations would be kind of cool though--someone mentioned 17th century sword fighting above--which actually sounds kind of awesome. Especially if you get to see yourself in period costume.

This makes me REALLY excited! When I saw Natal I got really happy because finally Xbox gets it first! Well...maybe not that because the Xbox is awesome already.. I wasn't sure if it actually worked that well, especially after I realized what the first guy said-it probably won't work that well.
I might like to see Rainbow Six series come out for that. I wonder how they would do running, but god do I love Swat team games.
I think they would be able to easily pull off some sort of House of the Dead like game (Resident Evil?)
