Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 767 Joined: 30 Nov 2007 | It's safe to say I've played at least 100 hours of Skate 2 so far. A few hours a day really creeps up on you. I'll also get addicted to WoW for about a month at a time then not play it at all for two months. |
Master Archivist Posts: 9229 Joined: 5 Mar 2009 | The culprit in my scenario was Oblivion, i was going on to 160+ hours without doing much of the actualy story. I would get home from work and just explore the damn wilderness for hours and hours. Luckily my xbox decided to do its monthly breaking ritual which put an end to my addiction. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2342 Joined: 28 May 2008 | The original Saints Row, seeing as it was the first next-gen sandbox game I could play, and I was seriously enthralled with it's "variety." Still hoping to get Saints Row 2 sometime soon. |

Think of Civilisation except in space, but with more options, content and depth because it focuses on the single-player aspect rather then having a mulitplayer option, so the AI is extremly intelligent and the gameplay is never the same. Ah yes, it's good to be back from suspension *flexes* User was banned for: Poll: The Internet Ruined Gaming!!!. (Permanent) |

100 hours on such a technical game, you must have thumbs of steel! I played tonyhawk for about 2/3 of that once and i couldnt feel my thumbs for a while after that. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3617 Joined: 7 Aug 2008 | I was for a bit, seriously addicted to the multiplayer on COD4, if that counts... Also I was addicted to Fallout 3 for a bit, just trying to do everything in the game (all Bobbleheads, explore everywhere etc...). |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2112 Joined: 20 May 2009 | my friend has an unhealthy addiction to oblivion at the moment... every time we come in for him, he'll be sitting at his ps3 playing it. But personally, it was left4dead. I still would be addicted if i hadn't lost my old steam account. |

Press Junketeer Posts: 437 Joined: 8 Sep 2008 | Probably Plants vs Zombies. I've spent god knows how many hours playing that game and completing all the mini-games. I know it's a casual game made by popcap but it's so damn addictive. |

Even after getting to 60 and finishing insane I will probably start a new character with a different class/background. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1460 Joined: 21 Jun 2008 | I've logged nearly 150 hours and over 1,500 matches in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I played it at least once a day for almost two months straight when I first got it. Even now, I'll still pop it in the Wii and play with it for about an hour or so every once in a while. That game truly has infinite replay value. |

I suppose Resident Evil 4. Not exactly addicited, but closest thing to it. |
Muckraker Posts: 321 Joined: 26 Mar 2009 | Oblivion and fallout 3 are the only games I've spent over 100 hours playing. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 3796 Joined: 1 Mar 2009 | Don't know if I'm addicted now, but I've played a lot of Shadow of The Colossus recently. Must...Kill...Them..All. But other than that, Left 4 Dead or Final Fantasy VII. Played many hours online and killed some zombies, and FFVII, between 4 days and a week, I played over 30 hours. |
Muckraker Posts: 298 Joined: 6 May 2009 | A while back it was SSBM. I played that for years, pretty much daily. |
Press Junketeer Posts: 400 Joined: 25 May 2009 | Definatly Oblivion and Burnout Paradice. Sadly Paradice is starting to feel old, I never really like Big Surf Island. |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 668 Joined: 20 Aug 2008 | Starcraft the original and broodwar. Couple summers ago it was ridiculous how much time I had spent on that game. Right now, I still play starcraft, not nearly as much. I play the orange box pretty frequently though. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 1722 Joined: 1 Oct 2008 | TF2, but I'm starting to get back into playing Star Wars Battlefront. Why they took the Sniper's disguise in the demo of Battlefront and replaced it with the standard Recon Droid, I will never know. |
