Some of the toughest that I have done: (off the top of my head) Mile High Club Aperture Science: All gold medals in Portal (I have every achievement for the Orange Box.) Nothing Special What are you trying to prove? Vidmaster: Beat Marathon on the highest difficulty setting, kill every Bob, and do not touch any switches. Master of Arcade Dishwashing: (Beat Arcade mode in Dishwasher: Dead Samurai Got the Hat: Beat the hardest difficulty in Dishwasher: Dead Samurai (I have every achievement in this game) Invincible: Beat Mega Man 9 without dying. (I have every achievement in this game) Against all odds: Beat a team of 3 enemies on at least medium difficulty, in a skirmish match (in red alert 3. I also have the brutal difficulty one.)
The Trophy/Achievement for Battlefield Bad Company Beans Bullets Bandages(Silver) where you need to get 10001 kills online. To my knowledge when Dice brought trophies to the PS3 version only 3 people got this Trophy. Also from BFBC is Thier is no I in Squad(Bronze) Have 20 squad members spawn on you without dying in a single round, which after seeing the discription I proceded to cus the fuck out of Dice for this insane Trophy/Achievement. Just in case some of you didn't know in BFBC with squad spawn you can only spawn at the person who is closest to the Gold Crates or in other words closest to the enemy.
orange box has 2 of the most difficult/challenging/fun i have played:
the first is ravenholme with only the grav gun. Its not so hard but challenging in that if you accidently pullout a weapon you must do the whole thing again. Really fun challenge.
The second is the hardest one i have yet to get. its worth two points. shoot the roller mine through the basketball hoop in black mesa east.
Beat Jordan on expert- GH2 Beat ttatf on expert- GH3 Get 321, 321 on "Assasin" drums- GH world tour Nothing special, argghhhh- Left 4 dead Beat Ninja Gaiden 2 on hard- Ninja Gaiden Keys to the city- GTA 4, just because it was so time consuming and boring Bladder of steel- Rock Band 2, Complete every song without pausing...assholes Get an S rank on every level on dante must die- DMC4. I don't think so, you're too shitty to worth spend time on Various flag achievements- Assassins creed and I think thats most that haven't been mentioned
Form what I heard from G4's Cheat! the codes for the Orange Box like God Mode do not shut off the achievements. Just something to keep in mind next time you try getting any of the Achievements.
CoverYourHead: I can't remember what it's called, but the medal for MGS4 (I think it's Big Boss). You need to beat the game in record time on the hardest difficulty, no alarms, no kills, only a certain number of saves, no resets. Yeah... crazy.
Do I just suck, or is MGS4 just terribly hard on almost all the difficulties?
No man. It is just that the PMCs can hear your fuckin footsteps. It takes a lot of practice to get even throught the 3rd area in the first act. I have gotten the big boss rank and it wasn't no walk in the park. You need a lot of patience.
And about the DMC4 achievements, the PS3 version got screwed cause we did not have any trophies. Shame cause I got them all. Finishing Hell Or Hell is not that hard. The best way to practice is on normal. Cause Hell or Hell is normal-die with one hit. The worst thing is Dante cause of his shotgun.
I do not know about Wipeout HD but I am gonna get everything just for the challenge of it.
Darth Pope: DMC 4's achievement for beating the game on Hell or Hell.
Oh dear. I have enough trouble. I've been stuck on Mission 14 in Dante Must Die mode for a long, long time.
Anyway, the achievements that are overly difficult are often the ones that involve playing well against human players.
The Rockstar one in GTAIV, for example, involves either beating an actual Rockstar developer in battle, or beating someone else who's earned the trophy.
You really have to wonder how many people have gotten that one in the first way, though I lucked out and got it, probably from some random non-developer.
Actually that's not that hard.I got it becuase I accidentally ran over someone in free for all. If you want I can let you kill me in Gta 4 for the Achievment.Just hope you have an Xbox.
Uh, you clearly didn't read my post in full. As I said, I "lucked out and got it". Thanks for your offer though, and for the record, I have a PS3, not an Xbox, anyway.
The boblle head achivment on Fallout 3
I don't know why people find that one difficult. All I did was look it up in the Vault wiki and find out where each Bobblehead is, go get it, then repeat for the next one. It's only hard if you're lazy about switching from computer to console, haha. Or you're too honourable to use a wiki. But really, the game isn't designed for people with honour.

Ehh I have short attention span. I was just trying to offer the chance to get it but glad to hear yo- Ohhhh shiny.
Why is everyone yelling that Mile High Club was difficult? I thought it was piss-easy even on veteran.
All this tells me is that you're either a liar or an idiot who likes to point out how "skizzazled" (A word I have actually heard idiots use) he is. Either way, please stop talking.

Kay, did I say anything to insult you? No? Why the idiot and liar thing then. Don't be a bigger idiot and start yelling at me when I didn't say anything. I was just politely asking why does everyone think it is so hard. There are hard missions in CoD4 but Mile High Club was one of the easier because I AND EVERYONE I KNOW FINISHED IT ON VETERAN ON THE FIRST GO.
So, drop the insults, shut up, go learn how to be polite. EDIT: Even my sister who almost never plays games. She died like 4 times but when she got it she completely ran through the level.... The thing is she is 8 years old now and when she played it she was 7.

Alright, I'll be polite: PLEASE stop talking, you idiot. Now I know it's definintely the IDIOT option, as you are too stupid to judge when it woould be right to not say anything at all.
The acheivment on Prototype where you have to go through the entire campaign without dieing. Maybe I'm just a pussy, but that just seems a little rediculous.

Dude, what? I was just saying it was easy, relax... deep breaths.
Also, yelling at people that they're idiots isn't one of the things a polite man does.

McHampton: "Treasure Trove" on Lost Odyssey. You have to pick up every single non-missable item in the game, quite an annoying task for a 50 hour long JRPG.
I have 1080/1100 on this game because of this. I used like 3 guides, can't buy anything in the auction (which means I found everything I had to find the first time through), and have looked through every last inch of ocean and terrain, and still don't have this achievement. Sigh.
Belive me dude it's a lot harder then it looks. Was a hell of a lot easier when the glitch was in place.
I mean just one hit. Only one hit can end all asperiation of earning that one. You can't even get vomited on.
