Good Ol' mutey. He didn't have to say anything. He just kept his mouth shut like a good package boy.
Niko. | |
Niko was the only one with an interesting backstory.
Nico. Mainly for his funny accent and good backstory.
I have to agree with these people. Unlike the other guys who simply took it upon themself to thrust into a life full of crime and murder, Niko was forced to go to Liberty City, forced to steal, kill and lead a life of crime, it simply wasn't his fault.
Toni form Liberty City stories. Niko was quite cool but I never understood all the love for Tommy.
CJ for me. Just because that game is so absurd. Also, since I have yet to play GTAIV.... sadly.
I didn't really like the games but, I do like Brucie. He's an odd character.
tom | |
Tommy, he's got a lot more personality than Niko, plus Niko always whines about killing people' how he is forced to do it but hates it and his trouble past, blah blah blah. Generally when I am controlling him he is all about the mindless violence, it just doesn't work.
Tommy, for me. I liked Niko, but not as much as I liked Tommy, and I didn't empathise with CJ at all.
Tommy Vercetti is voiced by Ray Liotta there for, he is the best one. Vice City also has Dennis Hopper and Burt Reynolds doing voice.
Niko has a better history and I found myself really feeling for some things he had to do.
tommy was cool , cj was too getto gang banger and niko was a bit to foreign but then there's claude he kept his mouth shut and just did his job all other characters in the gta series don't matter as for lost and dammed i haven't played it yet
i like Claude! i mean he had no personality at all and he was just a labrador really, but his story was the best. then tommy vercetti because he was just bad ass.
Tommy was easily the best. Then joint between Claude and CJ (all about the customization). Frankly Niko just annoyed me, and was one of the main factors that lead me to dislike the game.
Tommy all the way. Ahh, I remember being in a mission hosing down a mall with minigun fire while Ray freakin' Liotta yells "I'm Tommy Vercetti, remember the name! I run this town! ME!". What a legend.
Tommy. Despite his love of completely hideous shirts.
CJ i always thaught he was the best
I was personally rooting for Sam Jackson in GTA IV.
Second.Third.Fourth and Fifth that emotion.
Niko Bellic. | |
easily Tom (he reminds me of Dexter)
Tommy or CJ I can't choose x.x
"CJ" Carl Johnson | |
I was saying "Yo, Sup Ceejaay" for ages after playing, and speaking all ghetto with my homedawgs when cruisin for bitches. But I prefer Tommy. I liked his shirt.
Niko's the only protagonist i gave a flying fuck about.
Johnny | |
Niko. Interesting backstory and good lines (and accent) made for a very memorable character.
Johnny Klebitz, 'cause he's a hardrocking biker that drives around on his awesome chopper and kicks people in the face.
Niko Bellic, because he said this: "Nobody fucks with my family!"
I recently revisited GTA 4 LaTD, it has given me cause to reflect on past and present player characters given to us. My main focus will be on their 'flagship' games, but there is the other catagory for all the Juan's and Mutes. ;)
What is the rationale for the appeal in your choice? Personally, I feel Niko was their best developed character, because if nothing else, I found myself really getting into his mindset as presented - approaching the game with a 'what would Niko do?' attitude to the sandbox experience.
