Me, when I created myself in a home made game. I'm fucking awsome. EDIT: Or, from a mainstream game, my character in Fallout 3, Jesus Christ wearing Ultramarine Terminator power armour. Spreading love, peace and the word of the Emperor throughout the Wasteland, one bullet at a time.
*Cough* Grammer *Cough*
Max from Sam & Max I love that homicidal, rabbity creature
I'm sure this has been done recently. Anyway, just to be on topic, I choose General Alexi Guba from the Flashpoint series. What a hardcase he was.
KRATOS!!!!! | |
"Soap" "The Muppet" MacTavish has the highest kill streak known of any character known in the Call of Duty series. Soap, cleaning the streets of enemy territory one germ of a terrorist at a time.
you? | |
There are many cool characters throughout the history of the industry, but if it is epic you are looking for, I would say Kaim Argonar from Lost Odyssey. As Kaim Argonar is an immortal, in the first ten minutes he kills an entire armyworth of soldiers, destroys a huge mech, and survives a volcanic explosion.
Seriously Mars Buddy, now you're just stealing my bloody posts!. I was put into the same game as him, I was far moar Hax0r than he.
Ben from Full Throttle | |
I guess egos are bigger than expectations.
The voice actor died recently. :(
Not when you've actually created a game starring a major character such as me!
Damn straight! Guest star! *updates game furiously fast*
And had me as an Unlockable!
I hope to god no one says Master chief Eddie Riggs from Brutal Legend
Yup!! Too awsome to be available at the start of the game!!
Master Chef then. | |
*cough* Grammar *cough* ;) I wouldn't call any game character "epic." Who's the best? I don't know. For now, I suppose I'll say that Dante is the best.
can i have 1 fried grunt please?
No character is more epic than Kratos.
No fried grunt for you!!
Kratos by far. If someone told me Kratos was mad at me I'd shit myself
Master chief, just to piss you off. Also, naming a character from a developing game is a rather sketchy answer seeing as you haven't played the game at all. Last time I checked, basing anything off a preview was pretty fuckin' stupid.
aww dammit, that sucks | |
Title characters mostly. Having their name in the title definitely helps make them memorable. Diablo, Duke Nukem, Mario, Zelda, etc.
Yeah, there's nothing epic at all about a guy who saves every sentient being in the galaxy from an extra-galactic parasite, twice /sarcasm I was going to say Durandal anyway, he saves humanity from one of the most powerful races in the galaxy as a by product of his own quest for god-hood.
That sucks. I really liked him.
Most "Epic"? I guess Jack of Blades from the original Fable. (Not TLC, the VERY first one.)
The Nameless. [/thread]
The prince, as seen in the SoT trilogy. You know why. If you don't, you have no place in this world, you cultural wasteland. Or Gordon Freeman. He commited SEVERAL genocides using only a crowbar and a gun made by MATTEL.
This is getting repetitive.
Dante from the upcoming Dante's Inferno game, consider the whole game is an "epic" hehehe I am so sorry for that joke.
Frank West. He's covered wars, you know.

So much people have so much opinions on the best and most flat out best characters in game history and i just want to know, who you think is the best.
