I am torn to make the choice, but Portal without a doubt.
It was a blissful escape into a cake lined, lie filled, black humor endowed, physics playground. And I loved every single second of it.

Half Life 2 and TF2 were awesome in their own repsects, but Portal took the Cake. Pardon the pun, if you will.

Half Life 2, just because of how immersed in its world I got and how epic your journey is from the train station to the top of citadel.

Some of the best friendly AI ever seen in a game...

Welcome to the Escapist OP. Anyway, I have to say HL2, because that's the closest thing here to Ep 2, which is certainly one of my favorite games of all time, not that the rest of HL2 is bad. But I love it because...well, I can't think of a single setpiece I dislike, plus it introduced the coolest enemies ever (with the possible exception of The Geth), Hunters.

Portal was one of the most boring games I've played. GLADoS was so annoying I played with the sound off and did my own voices. Maybe if all she said was, "DO THE PUZZLE, BITCH." then I would've enjoyed it.

Best part of the game was when I hit exit and quit. Burning the companion cube came in a close second.

Voting TF2, since it's the only game I've playing for 150 hours as Sniper alone.

Never really got into CS:S, I've tried it but all I do it get an occasional shotgun kill and always getting my brains blown out by the nearest SAW mindlessly walking around the map not knowing where to go.

For me CS:S is only for my Garry's Mod DarkRP models

Left 4 Dead introduces new types of teamwork, AI intelligence, player guidence, and brought a new franchise to Valve.

I'm just more into the FPS Multiplayer like Left 4 Dead and Team Fortress 2.
However I still enjoy and play Portal and Half-Life 2 once in awhile.

And I have to say (based on the poll, because HL1 is awesome) HL2 because its the one I enjoy the most besides CS. Its got a great story and great characters (DOG FTW). awesome graphics and entertaining physics you actually can use. much fun.

Ive seen the AI be quite thick at times. Not that they're really needed with Freemans Invins-o-suit and all.
I voted portal because out of all the above games its the one I enjoyed most. I enjoyed them all but portal was the most fun.
