Well, I'm impatient to get my hands on Starcraft 2, which is still at least a year away, so I just wanted to know, which Starcraft race do you prefer, and if you feel up to it, why do you like them.

I personally like Protoss.

For those of you who don't know, Starcraft is an RTS made by Blizzard which focuses around three races, which are stated above.

My first choice would be Terran because they are the only species that I can ever come close to winning with, although I do enjoy all of them.

I gotta go with Protoss and Terran. I just like both of them and their ideals both for good and evil.

However while you bide your time try out Dawn of War 2. I was skeptical myself but the game is pretty good, micromanagement is reduced so you don't have to worry about having multiple groups. Wait for a sale though since you are like me and want to save money.

I love the zerg, if not for quick points with a ling rush, lurkers are a mans best friend. ESPECIALLY when setting up a bottle neck near your enemies base.

I'm biased. Zerg.

I play all of the races, and Protoss are my favourite but I'm probably best with Terran, even if I do like Zerg better.

Terrans FTW (I solomnly swear never to use l33t speech on this forum again).

The Terrans remind me of Warhammer 40k Space Marines so in terms of sheer badassnes I have to hand it to them ('You want a piece of me, boy?').

That's not to say the others aren't good though.

Zerg all the way. For the swarm!

Though I wish the Overmind hadn't gotten killed.

Personally I never understood how Terrans survived. But obviously people get good with it...

I like playing simple, so I've always just been Zerg and swarmed them without playing strategically.
