I'm sure this sort of thing has been done before, but I don't see a recently done one, so I'll give this topic a try. With just about every game that comes out today having Achievements (360) or Trophies (PS3), I get to pondering what achievements I'd make if given that power. So let me turn that question to you, the wonderful Escapist crowd. List the game/s you would make achievements for, the amount of points they are worth (or color value), and what you need to do for them. Try to get as creative as possible, without just being an incredibly large ass. Keep things realistic, and if need be, take from what exists for inspiration. Should this thread really get going, I'll put my list into the ring.

Kinda figured that would be the case, to be honest wasn't going for the "most original thread" achievement lol couldn't resist. Just hoped to get a good discussion going about upcoming, and old titles that could use an upgrade to include minuscule awards that overall...do nothing but make one's e-peen bigger.

That game has many achievements that involve doing something once, so to spice it up let's add that it must be a headshot. Still with the automag that isn't exactly difficult. That does explain the 5GS reward for it, kudos.

I have a strong disdain for anyone that does prestige one time, let alone ten. Still I know a few people, and I'm not one to judge, well at least not too harshly. For ten times of doing that the 150gs I say is about right.

For House of The Dead Overkill (I know Wii has no achievements) - Brest shot - Kill the mother by only firing at her breasts - 150 internets.

50 Note Streak 5G
100 Note Streak 10G
200 Note Streak 15G

Guitar Hero World Tour is my VERY FIRST Guitar Hero game, she is a cruel mistress for achievements. Playing it on easy thinking i'm doing awesome when for the first time last night I got a 200 note streak, me thinking that was awesome was expecting an achievement, but nope (I got the 200 note streak on a Paramore song... PARAMORE FFS)

If you wanted achievements for that you'd need to take step back a game or two. Still I agree, for younger players the lower scoring achievements for note streaks gives them something to work towards. For the expert players...well more padding for the Gamerscore.

WTF?! - 0G - Headshot a Grunt with a Mongoose (I've done this... at least it registered with Grunt Birthday Party)

Still on the 360 I'd only give that kinda of achievement between 50-75GS because, so long as it can be done, it doesn't sound very hard. Not to mention there probably would be an achievement just for beating her. Still, haven't played the game so idk.

Only reason I say it is worth anything is based on the other achievements in ODST. Within the first 10 mins. you can rack up like what 3 or for easy 5GS achievements. might as well make one more. Still, I do give credit for the originality for that achievement lol

It's impossible, literally. You can only get head shots*.

*Don't hold me to it, Halo 3 ODST is just the latest in a long line of games to stop me finishing Overkill again.

I think I'll go ahead and throw one of my ideas into the ring.

Halo 3 ODST- Untouchable- 20 GS Kill 100 opponents in firefight mode without dieing after the Catch, Tough Luck, and Black Eye skulls turn on.

Battlefield Bad Company:
One in a Billion (Online) - Take a picture of a laser guided missile in-flight.
Bend The Bullet - Hit another player with a non-explosive weapon with no line of sight between you.

InFamous:
Bridge Closed - Cross the bridge between the Warren and the Historic District after Alden decimates it.

I've done all of these. I only wish there were trophies for them.

all I can say is I lawld, the name of the achievement plus the parameters...priceless.

1g - CoD6 (MW2) - the "Fag" Achievement - Achieved by reaching maximum prestige.

Seriously, People who reach maximum prestige level in any CoD game needs to go outside & get laid. I went to rank one Prestige & regretted it immediately. After an 8 month gap Im just getting towards the top of prestige lvl 1.

Inhuman - Every Game. Defeat Chuck Norris (1000 GS)

Mostly Cod related:

"Golden eye" - All golden guns: 150g
"Heads up" - 10 Headshots in a multiplayer game: 10g
"The old one-two" - Throw back a grenade, only to have them throw it back again: 60g

For any game:

Random Achievement - Could unlock at any time!

Would be quite funny because some people would get it instantly and others may never get it.

Money Tosser: Started Damnation- Damnation

Really?!?: Kill Three players within the first minute of any game mode- CoD

Throw Your Votes Away!: Voted to skip a map and vote didn't pass- CoD

Death From Somewhere: Throw a nade of the wall and hit a player- CoD
