Gone Gonzo Posts: 4585 Joined: 25 Feb 2008 | Of that list Valve, mainly because they do actually listen to their players and generally make good when they bugger up. Although really it's Turbine. They're the kings of community involvement and Dick Dastardly style tricks. Also CCCP for their extreme bravery in letting the EVE community largely moderate itself. I can't see any other MMO allowing so few rules. |

Beat Writer Posts: 164 Joined: 22 Jan 2009 | Insomniac, they make both the Ratchet and Clank AND the Resistance series. |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2140 Joined: 20 May 2009 | It's hard to choose, as I like alot of games and they all come from different developers. I narrowed it down to three developers, valve, bethesda and bioware. Valve: made half life 2 = good. But, messed everybody around with the "will they won't they" of episode three. so, you're out. Bethesda: Fallout 3 = fantastic. Oblivion = snorefest (imo) so, also out. Bioware: kotor, baldurs gate, mass effect, jade empire, I really can't think of any of their rpgs I didn't enjoy. so, congrats, bioware, you win! |
Gone Gonzo Posts: 2027 Joined: 5 Jun 2009 | Valve, definetly. They add fan-suggested things to TF2 by "sure, why not?" principle! 'Nuff said, really. Insomniac are also pretty high on my list - how can you not like them? They make games where you can turn your enemies into penguins and make them dance involuntarily to disco tunes, for heaven's sake! |

Muckraker Posts: 228 Joined: 10 Oct 2007 | Other: Bungie. I really enjoyed all the Halo games. And Bungie recognizes how important their fanbase is and they make a point of keeping them happy whenever possible. They make a point of giving attention to standouts within the community that surrounds their games. I think that's an excellent way to run a business and I admire their efforts to keep the players engaged in the worlds they create; both in game and beyond. |

I think you'll find that Fallout 3 isn't a Game Developer =) |
Beat Writer Posts: 130 Joined: 12 Jul 2009 | Monolith... They made so many good games back in the day. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 109 Joined: 21 Sep 2009 | It's a tie between BioWare and Epic Games for me. I love BioWare's games, and as a Canadian Uni student taking Computing, I'd be psyched to be part of their Programming team somewhere down the line. On the other hand, Epic Games made the Gears of War series. And....and that's just great. I voted other, by the way. |

I think you'll find that I'm much too lazy to look up the spelling for the developer of fallout 3 and further more... aw what the hell Bethesda |
Press Junketeer Posts: 436 Joined: 27 Aug 2009 | It's hard to decide but Bioware. Fucking awesome they are :P Just think, if Bethesda joined up with Valve and Bioware they could make a game of epic proportions. Bethesda on the open world's and the tiny stories you just find wandering around like in Fallout 3, Bioware doing the story, lore and maybe interface and Valve... Sorry, my trousers are a little bit wet. |

Fate/ and Melty Blood. Good stuff indeed |

My favourite game developer is Bethesda. Though I haven't played a handful of their games, of those I have played, I have been very impressed with. I personally think they make great, fun, games.
But which is your favourite game developer? If you make a text response, please also indicate why, or give an example of one of their games you liked.
Thanks, and enjoy. And please don't flame.
