I wasn't totally off the IW bandwagon with the dedicated servers for PC but when they thought that 60 dollars for a PC game was acceptable I jumped ship. They think they are better than everyone else and can just charge and arbitrary amount for a game so I say F them and im now a PC MW2 protester! |

To be honest, I'm torn between Dragon Age and MW2. I kind of missed out on the CoD4 fun train because I wanted to buy a used copy... which don't really exist eith any real discount (still going for US$55 at GameStop). That said, violence is violence in may book, and as long as I'm sated I'll be fine. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 961 Joined: 23 Jul 2008 | Valve because of certain things they do... like trying to make a version of L4D2 for Australia, and other things like how they would have given free DLC to 360 if microsoft didn't make them charge for it... Blizzard I've always hated because of the games they make... Diablo II was the only ok one, in my opinion, and even that got boring fast... And Activision... never had much of a problem with them until recently; coincidentally after they merged with Blizzard. It isn't that they merged with Blizzard, it is the fact that they have become greedy assholes... |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1249 Joined: 22 Dec 2008 | Hate to sound cliche or whatever, but I've got to go with Valve. Their games are great but still creative, they look nice but can run on low-end systems, they have stories that are interesting, and they don't use cutscenes, which I personally love. On top of that, they made Steam, which is just a great way to buy games, and probably the best DRM I've ever seen. |

Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 744 Joined: 9 Jan 2009 | Infinity Ward. It's my favorite, even though I know it's not the best. It's something about how they resist against Activision's demands that there be a CoD sequel every year that I respect a great deal. Go |
Infamous Scribbler Posts: 584 Joined: 6 Jun 2009 | Valve for VERY obvious reasons. They have enlighten my life with the greatest single and multiplayer game. If you're wondering, those two are the Half-Life series and Team Fortress 2. Interplay/Black Isle (or whoever did Fallout 1-2) and Infinity Ward ain't to shabby either. (Though they should have handled the MW2 (PC) business MUCH better.) |
