Well, in the Sands of Time, there was no trip to middle of nowhere...the whole game pretty took place in and around a palace. Clearly a few liberties have been taken. I can understand the need to give the prince a name, but I hear the woman (who sounds terribly annoying in this trailer in my opinion) isn't called Farah. I may be over reacting to such a small detail but it just strikes me as a bit needless to give a different name to someone who is essentially going to be the same character from the game. I'm not sure if I will go and see this or not, but we just now it'll turn out to be a fairly undemanding piece of fluff (it is a summer movie after all). That said, if they don't have that odd bath house area from the game, I will be slightly disappointed. |

... It best take place in gold water... It was one of those every door looks the same, and brings you out in what looks like the exact same place things right? Regardless, it was too clever and trippy to be in this film. (Also, thank you for clarifying that I don't have dreams about people canoodling in gold water. :D) |

Yeh, that was the place and you're right, probably best leave taht part in the game. Anyway, back to the subject of the trailer, it may have just been due to the typical trailer method of cramming as much exciting stuff in as possible, but I'm sure I could see some Dark Prince style effects at certain points in the trailer. Though maybe I am now just imagining things. |
