It'll be a GOOD GAME. The devs have their reasons to do certain things to their own game. Its like petitioning against a cure for cancer that could possibly give you a mild cold. If it had a legit chance of lowering cheating, I'd be willing to argue in favor of it but: 1)This would only stop cheating in the Search and Destroy gametypes, as those are the only games where, when you die, you can't talk to teamates unless they're already dead or you're in a party 2)Very few people use this to cheat anyway. It's somewhat of a problem in Gears of War, but we aren't talking about GoW right now.

I don't fully believe it myself yet, but if it is true, it is a kick in the teeth for the people who like talking to friends in game. MS is also partly to blame as they gave IW the option to do this.

I know you said it wasn't directed at me, but I'll answer anyway. I heard about the Dedicated servers thing, but I didn't really care. I didn't get angry at people who did care, but it didn't affect me (aside from the occasional TF2 match and a few Single Player games on Steam, I'm a 360 gamer), so I didn't really care all that much. I did, however, sign petitions on behalf of PC gamers who were angry at IW because, although I have only the slightest idea what a dedicated server is, I know it's important to my PC gaming brethren, and the price being raised for them was bullshit in and of itself.
this makes me sad, I think IW needs to be quiet until november 10th because they are pissing people off, no dedicated servers, no party chat, Fight against frag spam, they are just pushing customers away. (I think F.A.G.S is funny but I can understand how it can be offensive.)
