Lets try to create a game with "three characters and ten rooms and set it in 1930's Morocco."

Putting some thought into it, I think a game or story could actually be made from this idea, which was hastily thought up by Yahtzee in an Extra Punctuation article by the way.

Okay, I'll try to start it out.

Err, okay. Uhh... Three characters who all happened to be born Morocco wake up in a blank, colorless, box shaped room. All three characters have amnesia and don't know what is going on. There are 3 doors on each side of the room, except for one side which only has 1 door which is apparently inacessible. The doors all seem to lead to bright white voids filled with with nothingness. Each door will lead to different points of their lives that eventually lead to how they died. The game could have some kind of horror feel to it, too...maybe.

Actually, all of the above sounds like shit right now. Any ideas, people?

Headcrabs come and kill them all, ending the prelogue.

EDIT: Then Samus and Solid Snake start an investigation case.

Well.... as far as what to do with that idea not really any idea.
I would say though that if you take away amnesia, where they know they are dead.... This could add more horror aspect because going through the door would be akin to moving on. So, the one man who knows that only hell awaits him could be trying to prevent the passing through the door. And I would say instead of blank and colorless.... make the room large, dark, engulfing, yet warm? if that makes sense.
I don't know I just think that not all of what you said is bad.

Hmm, I feel that the epilogue would involve the very last door, the lone door leading to the 10th room. The door would become accessible after the three characters live through whatever trials that they went through. The 10th room would then reveal....seomthing. I don't know yet.

They are in a hotel and one of them is murdered, who did it? I call it Condensed-Cluedo: Morocco edition. Was the murder done in the prayer room with the Hookah? Or perhaps in the bath house with the Persian rug.
