now, personally i hate rick rolls to death, to me they are overdone. They were funny the first 3 times, but by like the 8th time i started to see an annoying trend starting.So yeah i think they suck,but do you think about them. i just wanna know what escapist thinks about them, so that way of you like it i can track you down and throw rocks at your house. If done right, yeah. Some friend of mine were Rickrolled pretty epically the other day. We were hanging out outside a lounge building at my college when we hear a knock at the window. We look up to see our friend standing there with her laptop playing the music video. I had no choice but to bow down to her awesomeness.

The only time I found it really funny was when me and my GF are walking through the shopping center and walk into a store... and guess what was playing... i turned to my GF and said "Oh for the love of god I cant even go to the center without getting rickrolled"...

Maybe if "Rickroll" got like an update it would be funny like picking a different song or artists continue what it did without being it...I'm rambling -_-

I actually liked that really, getting Rickrolled by a prominent political figure, especially one you would néver expect it from. I would expect it from Obama, from Pelosi, not so much. Kudo's to her.

When where Rickrolls funny besides when the man actually did it himself and when Yahtzee got rickrolled? Seriously they're just boring and probably make up 30% of youtubes server space. (50% would be shity anime music videos with linkin parks "In the end")

It's funny if did right. Like when he did it himself in that video up there *points up* or like when EA RickRolled Yahtzee.
I have also seen a couple of videos that are very cleverly disguised. I can say they are fun if some work was put into it.
But I'm one of those who think a lot of memes are fun. Even if they all are overdone.

They can be funny. A while back my sister called me downstairs to see something on the tv. She turns on the DVR and its that video. We shared a laugh and I deleted the video. It pretty much how that kinda thing works anymore.
