BarbMpls: I'm trying to remember an old (1990-ish) 2D game for PC. It wasn't one of the more well-known or popular games; I think I got it via download or on a 3/5" diskette (or maybe even a 5¼" floppy disk).
To begin the game, you chose attributes for your character (I think). In the opening scene, you learned that your home had been burned to the ground, so you set off from there. In each town, there were stores where you could buy/sell armor, weapons, magic spells, etc. As you left the town borders, you encountered enemies to fight. I believe that everything was in overhead view, until you checked your inventory or entered a store; then you got more detailed views of the items you had or could buy. If I recall correctly, each stage of the game required you to go to another town where the available armor, weapons, and spells were more powerful. You could also find (and sometimes buy) larger packs to hold your inventory.
It's been so long since I've played this game, I really hope I'm not scrambling 5 or 6 games together in my memory. Any idea what game I'm referring to?
I played a game that came out in the late 90s or early 2000s. It was a copetition between a kangaroo, a man, an green alien and some other characters I can't remember. You had to pick ur character and try to beat the other opponent to the finish line ( in one level you had to climb a building while fridges and flowerpots were coming down from the roof, you could also hit your opponents with special weapons (bananas i think). Please help me figure it out, thanks!
Hello there! I'm trying to remember the name of this PC game that I and often one of my close friends used to play in my early years. I was about 7 to 11 years old when I played this game and I'm born in 1988. It was on windows.
You where flying around in a ship in 3d world, howering over the ground on a huge planet. I think you could look around the ship in 3d, but the ship itself kept the same altitude over the ground.
The ship you flew around with was very small from the start, but as you killed enemies (other ships), you got recourses that you could use to buy things to your ship. You could buy more squares to expand your ship, buy weapons, engines, sensors and a lot of other stuff. You could also build like walls around the components you bought for the ship to enforce it and protect your components.
That's about it, what I can remember now. It was only a demo I played.
mithril: I'm searching one old game that ill try to describe
-Game is 3D -i remember that at the menu or at some window "You can change walking type at 4 difrent way (normal , dancing , rapper style etc) " -you can equip items(which i remember a blue robe ) -while you run at the city you can go near a plant and jump near it , it have chance to give you life point i think . -at one episode i remember takeing place at space and you have to remember direction at invisible way to pass trough it.,
Thats all i remember. Anyone got idea?
Sounds like Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey.
Maybe anyone will remember this game from around 1994-1998 (I think): It was a space travel adventure game of sorts. I don't recall any space combat. You would go to space stations to trade. The interior of space stations was prerendered 3d (animated, seemed to be very well done for that time) and very funky/cheesy futuristic look. I recall a space-supermarket as well.
Cheers
Startopia? But that was just space station management.
Snownine: I remember playing a 3D platform game on the iMac G3s at school around 2000 to 2001 in which the main character was a bug, an ant I think. Everything was scaled more or less accurately to how they are relative to real ants, i.e. blades of grass and plants were huge.
Another was a game for the SNES that took place in a dystopian future that gave me a strong Terminator vibe. It was a platform game and I think you fought robots. Your character was a human and I think wore a black leather jacket.
Pulse: You're a transformer robo-cop in the future. Must've been released 2000 or earlier.
It's a 3rd person shooter in 3d. You can be either the red or blue bot. They transform from hover vehicles to walkers shoot missiles or machine guns. They had police lights on top(I think). Weapons might have been customiseable....
Environments were...futurey dark boxy environments with slopes and lights.
There was a 2p vs mode, splitscreen. Where the map was divided into two colours aswell.
Gabbie Cox: there was a computer game dont know what year but im guessing 1990s and im 21. it was like an anime game where you can make your own story movie. you can pick which charatcer, what place to make it like in a haunted house, make how the character moves etc you can watch it in a movie theater in the game and the main character who runs the theater i think its a blue something lol
Hmm sounds kinda like 3d Movie Maker. It wasn't really a game but it had a blue guy in a theater!

Hello, I have this game in my mind that I played years ago. What I remember is that it was a computer game, a demo where you walked around the map, I can't remember what the map looks like but I think it was in some kind of junk yard or train yard where you walked around looking for clues in order to advance to the next stage of the map. In the dome you had to fight against hornets or bees and the way you fight them is that you had turns where you moved your characters according to where the squares allowed you to and then the enemy had their turn where they moved closest to you. Of what I can remember the demo ended when you reached a fence that leads into some kind of railway or something and then a message appears but I can't remember what it said.
I can't remember the name of this game and its really frustrating, if someone could help me I will REALLY appreciate it!!!!
If anybody knows this game or has any clues PLEASE send me a message to tunietolindo@yahoo.com
HEy guys I would be truly greatful If someone helpps me. All I remember from the game are bits and pieces hope someone figures the game out.. Heres what I remember. 1. When the game loads there is a photo of a castle frog monster, mummy, frankenstein, a boy and a werewolf which the boy shoots with his gun. 2. you are that boy and In the first level you have to spray a pesticide on a pitcher plant to kill it. 3. Then I remember a frog who slips on salt and we have to do our mission as long as he is fallen. Its a an old game I guess around 2000.
Here's a challenging one, a shareware game which was either on a demo disk or included with a 3D realms game, PC, mid 90's.
It was a strategy game where you played as a 'character' who launched units from one side of the screen to the other, and on the other side there was a CPU player doing the same. The aim was to get x number of units across the screen, the sort of game that's 100 a penny on appstores now.
One of the 'characters' was a fat mother hen, and the 'unit' she launched was named Small Fry. I've googled every combination of the above, but never found it!

The snes one could be Blackthorne
No, it wasn't Blackthorne unfortunately.
Edit: After some more searching I now believe the game was Time Trax. Well that still leaves the other one, if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

about year 1995 there was a game i used to play in playstation console. thr main character has red hair and thr gameplay is like super mario bros where you have to step on the enemy to kill them.
along the road you can get egg that will follow you around and you can collect up to three. those egg can help to step the enemy. but if you knocked by the enemy, the eggs will be scattered and you have to chase them around or they could die fall of the cliff or something.
besides that you need to collect the stars too. at the end of the level, the stars can be shared to the eggs and when they have get enough stars, they can hatch to some animals depend on the egg colors.
i remember there is a boss level with tractor form. the graphic is in 2D. and you just walk horizontally like super mario bros or megaman. does anyone know the title please?

Hey guys , I'm looking for two games ~ The first one was about a boy who lost her sister to some alien type monster and you go through different levels to finnaly get to the ship and save your sister ~ The second is about you in a reddish infected planet and you're going around trying to survive , in the game you were 2d , they also made a game similar to it where you were in a jetpack , thanks if you can find it
It is a PC game with a rabbit (maybe it was roger rabbit) that is holding a baseball bat and hitting a ball (probably a baseball) towards a colorful brick wall.
when the ball returns you need to hit it just in time and if you miss the right timing you lose the ball.
There were a great strategy game. It's more than 12-15 years old. I remember I had two Cyclops at the starting, or some people if I choosed human race.
I remember I had to geather wood, stone, food, etc... And build houses and "make" childrens... You know: A male + a female = child... reproduktion... So you could not just buy new soldiers. You had to "make" them...
Hey this is my first time doing this, but I can't remember exactly about this game i haven't played it in years and years, but you can choose like 1 of 3 heroes 2 where guys one was all muscle and power the other was a archer type guy and i can't remember what the girl was, but you can increase your strength by carrying sheep around and whenever you died you had to go to hell and try to escape.
I used to play a game with my friend we would call the "Eyeball Game". You were a male character hunting through a tunnel type thing to find keys, im almost positive. I think if you fell when trying to jump there were either spikes, or lava or both. The most part i remember was that in a lot of the levels there was a giant bouncing eyeball, and you had to avoid it because if it hit you you'd die. There may have been jumping feet too, but I cant be positive on that one. It came on one of those CD game packs with a bunch of little games. I know it's a crude description, but i feel like someone will know what I'm talking about.
Hey everyone, I used to play a game waaaay back, the problem is like all of us my memory is not so very good.
All I remember is the following; Building an aircraft. Strange priestess girl. Angry brother of priestess girl. Brother rides massive flying snake thing in the sky. Team up with a dragon tamer.
Sundayboy: This will probably be one of the most vaguest descriptions ever, but it is all I can remember after racking my brains for years.
The game I am seeking is for the Playstation 1. I remember hiring if from Blockbuster roughly circa late 1990's and I am sure it had a Japanese type namebut not 100% sure of this. All I rememeber is that the main playable character is white I think (either some kind of animal or human ...not sure).
I know it has something to do with the characters father or grandfather going missing/died/or send into another dimension. the character has some kind of amulet either a brooch or a ring with a stone on it. I am sure the aim of the game is to reunite the character with his lost family member using the amulet.
D: I think we're looking for the same game ¬.¬'
I think you guys are looking for Klanoa. good game!
Their is this one math game I used to play it was where you were a Frog that had to go around and fight certain things and specific ones would drop keys that once u made it to the boss you could use the key to unlock the door if it was the right boss key and once u were fighting the boss you were using multiplacation to kill it you had to solve 3 problems and u had a timer after u did one problem they timer got shorter and you were in this castle place to the place description and the bosses were orges so can anyone help me out?

I've been searching a lot... for this game I played maybe between 2000-2007 and I really can't find it... and I really want to... I think it is a platform game that has 3 characters a fighter(?), a mage and an archer i think... I'm sure it has a mage though... I played with him. In the beginning we were in a forest and there was a shop on a tree (i guess) and the mage was little and wore blue clothes and hat and after the forest as the game goes on we are in a dungeon i guess with bats (they're enemies), and there's water and I think we have to catch gems and all that. I think the game really resembles Trine but the image is different. I've searched everywhere pls help me (:
PS: I was little so I think me and my uncle used to call the game of the dwarfs or something like that because they were little or something... Oh!! and the game as a very soft music i think and beautiful lights~
Could it be Gauntlet Dark Legacy or Guantlet Seven Sorrows?
No... it wasn't those ones :c it is something like that but I think it is played like only with a profile view like from the side it isn't but I think it was a bit 3D but not that much. But the type of game was something like that at least the characters. It is getting very difficult to find it :c I've been searching everywhere to the point of going through long lists of games but can't find it :c Thanks a lot for the answer though (:
Been trying to figure out how to reply to you.. I think your game is Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.. either that or diablo
.. And you'd think a gaming blog would have abilities for deleting posts..

sounds a lot like diablo, but then again that was well known and certainly not on a floppy or diskette
I read a bunch of pages trying to find the description/name of the game I'm looking for, but i vaguely remember it as a kid. It was on a ps1 demo disc (I believe a early-ish playstation magazine disc) and all I remember is the game beginning with wind blowing, and it having a dark japanese-type theme to it with a little blue character running around and collecting gems. It's been bugging me for ages and any help is appreciated, thanks!
boyrobot22: Ok I really want to figure out the name of this game. All I remember was that it was definitely for PSX, and that it was a RPG, with a turn-based battle system. Also, your characters had the power to turn into powerful angel-like people. This is all I can remember....Sorry if it isn't enough info...
Okay I realized this was a HORRIBLE description, so I'm going to reiterate. This game was definitely for the PS1. It had a mostly top-down camera view, and had 3D graphics. It was an RPG with a turn-based battle system, and the party had the ability to turn into angel-like people with upgraded powers. I hope this more detailed description will help.
I need some serious help with remembering the name of this arcade game. I have exhausted all my Google resources
I remember this arcade game (upright cabinet) around the year 1987-1992. The game was a 2 player vertical scrolling shooter. The one unique thing I remember about the game was the powerups. The powerups were soldiers on the field and when you picked them up in your hover vehicle, they would hang on the vehicle as gunners. I believe you can have up to 4-5 at one time.
The game had a kind of futuristic Robotech look to it.
Any help would be appreciated and ease my wondering mind.

I was playing a game (it was around 10 years ago) where you were the only one human in the game universe and you could use 3 types of mechas to help yourself (small red, medium green and big blue ones). Your character could fight with a machine gun, laser and lock-on missiles. Also you could take over some buildings and blue mechas. The last mission was getting inside some building and jumping into a teleport which "teleported" you to some unknown area filled with weird collumns shooting energy balls in the air. Also water was dangerous for everything.
I remember playing a game in the late 90s on the computer where you were a kid in middle school or high school and your dad had a train set in the attic and you can chose to play with it but if you crash it he gets pissed off at you. I also believe your grandfather dies and comes back to talk to you as a ghost, the last thing I remember is your babysitter or neighbor is a vampire or a monster of sort. And for some reason I think you help your mom cut carrots and you cut your finger.
Sorry if I wasn't descriptive enough all I could remember and google wasn't helping.
That might be it. Do you remember the name? customisable weapons ring a bell!
