When I was little, I was playing a computer game that now I do not remember how is called and I'm looking to find the game title. The game was a guy with blue hair that had several missions in many places, such as in the snow with icebergs around. Also on another mission was to an exotic place that fighting pirates used swords to defeat the pirates, who were his enemies. If anyone knows the title of this game, please answer me. :)

Can you elaborate on what kind of game it was?

Click-based adventure? Action?

It was adventure and had a map with various places such as an exotic place, an area with snow and icebergs ... Only that I remember from this game.

-free to play mmo
-played it several years ago?(probably not even around anymore, tried searching for games of it's style and found a ton of games but not the one I'm looking for)
-mecha style characters
-overhead view, basically flat background but i believe characters were somewhat 3d
-main town had a market where you had to rent some spots to set up shop since some richer players actually bought out the spots and rented them out to others.
-had one of those master/student systems where stronger players could help out lower level players with bonuses and got something in return.
-would find all manner of parts for your mech, but had to find a way to equip them properly as the components would be in varying shapes/sizes and had to fit into a grid. could upgrade them in ways to make them smaller i believe.

that's all i really remember off the top of my head, but any specific questions may help me remember a few more details

I have one game I would like to know about, It is an arcade game. It has 3d graphics, it is of the fighting genre, the characters you choose from however are not the usual karate masters or ninjas, they are robots (or mechas)with different abilities, weapons and their own strengths and weaknesses. Just like in other fighting games you would fight one on one with an opponent and once you defeat the opponent you would move on to the next level.

The arcade machine itself was pretty big, it has two seats, two screens, and two sets of controls. The controls from what I remember their are two joysticks both are used to control your characters movement in different ways but only the right joystick has the trigger that fires weapons or attacks, One of the special control movements I remember is jumping which involves moving one of the control sticks forward and the other backwards at the same time.

One of the characters I remember is a robot that is colored white (this is his sort of "first player color" his second player color I do not remember however if you do not choose him as your character he will still be white when you fight him (he happens to be the first robot you fight if I remember correctly)) he is one of the faster moving characters, his weapon is a lance/laser gun which he even holds out in front as if it were a lance while he is running, He will also use his weapon as a sword at close range and a rifle for long range combat.

Another character I remember is (how can I explain this correctly) I remember both the first and second player colors of this particular robot but I don't remember if the green was the first color or if the brown was the first color. anyway this character is not as streamlined (or not as skinny) as the first character, he is a bit bigger, if I remember correctly he moves around either by hovering or on big wheels (I am pretty Shure it is by hovering) has what appear to be missile launchers on his shoulders (but they shoot barrages of fireballs instead), and he attacks enemies at close range with a flail mace.

Their are different 3d arena's of combat, some with water in the, some with large stones, others with lava if I remember, some arenas more round while others were rectangular. Another thing I remember is that some of these arenas were sort of designed to fit the opponent you are facing. for example one of the opponents has the ability to fly (I did not explain her because I don't remember much her about besides the fact that she can fly) the arena is created so the character is standing on a place where she can take off, and has enough space in the air to stay in flight. If anyone can tell what this game is or can post any images/videos I would be very great full.

I'm trying to find a game I played in the mid 90s. The game was like a maze for mice/rats and the goal of the game were to catch them in a specific order like 4 red ones och 7 in a row with all colors. I have tried googling everything and searched all my old game cds but i can't find it. Any suggestions or tips which game it might be?

Thanks, I found it :)
The game is "Rat Poker" from Microsoft puzzle collection.
You can download it from:

I can't remember one old game. It was 3d game. there was a planet full of swamps where you land and you had to fight against aliens. You could to drive a machine also (or something like that)

megamachopop:

megamachopop:
There's an old PC game I remember playing.

-you controlled your character on the outside border of the screen.
-you had to shoot blocks into the middle to make mosaics.
-you can shoot or pull the blocks out to solve the puzzles (as in, shoot a block in, shoot another so the first block stops it, then pull the first out leaving the second where it was).
-I believe it had a Greek or Roman god theme to it.

Bump. Hoping someone can help me. I used to have lots of fun with the game and no matter what I can't seem to find it. :/

I found it! It's called Pixelus made by PopCap.

Hi there,

I am trying to figure out what the name of an old Gameboy game I once played is. I very highly doubt if it was in a series beyond Advance; my best guess is that it was either for Color or Original GB. It was something like Sim City, except you didn't start out making an actual city. Instead you started, I think, as natives, setting up teepees, cutting down trees, making sure everyone was near a water source, etc. The game then evolved once you got so good at x setup to go through the ages (I guess like early American settlement, etc) and eventually got to modern city. I think it's old because I remember that the graphics were not very good at all. And maybe it was some other handheld system, but I doubt it. I didn't even play a PSP until long after I played this game.

Can someone PLEASE help? I really want to play this game again!! (I keep doing really really badly in Sim City as well :/ )

Hi

Ok here's an oldie. I remember playing this on Win 95. It was a point and click adventure, where you traveled to different time periods to try and rescue your girl and fight some sort of robot baddie. I distinctly remember the main character traveling to the prehistoric era on his first adventure; then to a medieval castle/dungeon on his second. There were about 10 of these storylines, each one contained in its own floppy disk; it also came with a comic/brochure explaining the story and game mechanics. The art was pretty similar to The Dig (it's NOT Space Quest, I've checked :( ) Thank you in advance!

Been trying to find this one for ages but don't have much to go on.

I think it was around windows 95 era, it was an educational kids game with a few different mini-games.
What I remember is it had an Anagram game, a game involving naming shapes(up to maybe 10 sided shapes) and a few others. The theme of the anagram game was Aztec i think. But 2 things i distinctly remember above all. There was some kind
of dragon/dinosaur character who acted as sort of a guide, and the last game involved a roller-coaster. You had to
help the dragon/dinosaur get to the end by increasing and decreasing his speed at different points. If he went too fast he
would fly off the track on corners. If he went too slow he wouldn't make it up the slopes. It means a lot to me to find
this game as it was on my dads computer back then and unfortunately he isn't around anymore to ask him. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

There is a game where you use your cursor to kill enemies. There are 50 floors and it gets harder as you progress. You can upgrade your cursor and move with either WASD, or arrow keys. And 1 last thing... There is a boss every 10 levels........ I would really like it and would love it if someone helped me remember what the game was called... If any one knows please tell me!!!THX!!!!

P.S. ... if you can figure out what this game is called you are the best...

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Okay guys, bear with me here. This was a game I played a long time ago (I'm 20 years old now, I think I was between 6-8 at the time, but I'm not sure). I'm not sure if it was a 2D or 3D game, but I think throughout the story you played with a few different characters. What I remember from the game are a few flashbacks from a few parts of the game. I remember the game having a puzzle that to solve it you had to go outside and look at some Japanese symbols and go inside and put them the exact same way. I remember there was a scene where you were face to face with a villain and she shows you one of your friends (He was fat I think) and he was dead (I think he had his guts out or just a bloody belly..) I also remember, that in the final level of the game, you were playing as a girl, and you had to choose between a guy and a girl. I think they were pointing the gun at each other, and you had to choose who would die. I also know, that there were 2 bosses, depending on the choice, and 1 of the bosses was a huge monster. I also think there was a level in the woods, but that's not much..

I was hoping to have a nostalgia while playing this game. I used to play it with my dad it was amazing I loved it. I hope you guys can help me, good luck :)!

Obviously going to be wrong here

But Virtua On?

The chances of someone knowing this one is probably near zero, but I'll try anyways

I played it on the PC a long time ago. Sometime in the late 90's early 00's. Came in a collection of incredibly generic games like a 3D version of the classic game of Snake. This one however stood out as pretty well polished.

It's a strategy RPG with mechs and classic grid based combat (no, it's not Front Missions). Each mech had an element that worked in the standard rock paper scissor style of weaknesses. Each time you attack, you went into a shining force style cut scene. It's hard to describe the graphics. I believe the map was 3D, and the in game cuts scenes backgrounds were 3D. But the models I think were pre rendered sprites. It's all kind of blurry.

I'm pretty sure you had multiple attacks you could do, and I THINK (could be wrong) they worked similar to the Pokémon move counter, where you can only use certain attacks a set amount of times per battle.

The main character I think was a female, and her mech was greenish. I'm pretty sure she was a fire class and used a sword. Oh, they all looked kind of like gundam mechs, a bit bulkier maybe. And if they didn't use rockets or guns, they used classic melee weapons like swords, polearms, and their fists.

I can't remember the story at all, if it even had one. I'm pretty sure it was just a constant stream of battles one after the other with no town breaks, equipment management or anything like that.

All battles as far as I can remember were fought outside on open terrain like fields and mountains, with the appropriate movement reductions applying to each type of terrain.

The title of the game might have had the word "Element" in it

There's a lot that I don't remember, but only this one that is killing me...

It was a PC game, adventure- possibly point and click, but I think you had to do puzzles too. I believe 2D graphics and the plot started in the future, but the main guy (dark hair, wore glasses?) had to travel back in time for some reason. I think a (talking?) dog went with him and he was possibly a cyborg (totally could be making that up...).

The few scenes I can remember is the duo being in the sewers briefly and then trying to get into a fancy (corporate? laboratory?) building.

Whenever I've thought about the game, I remember confusing the title with Journeyman and Pschyotron so maybe something like that is similar in the title.

Hope someone can remember!

ME! I REMEMBER! Thanks to copious amounts of googling and honestly tracking companies. From the makers of Ripley's Believe or Not! The Riddle of Master Lu, Sanctuary Woods present...

The Awesome Adventures of Victor Vector & Yondo: The Cyberplasm Formula

OH MOST HOLY... Thank goodness I finally found this game again. I think it would have haunted me for the rest of my life if not.

Okay. There are only three games I can't remember the names of. They were all on PC. I know that.

Game One:
Played as a yellow bird or penguin or something?
Trippy level design which were all basically blocks
There was a powerup pickup of a swirl lollipop that made everything trippy and made the character invincible??? kinda like this: http://www.shindigz.com/images/itm_img/10PCDYRAS.jpg
I forgot what the objective of the game was
I think there was a jetpack powerup, but I don't know. Don't take my word on that.
It was a 3D sidescroller type game
I know it's old and it's NOT Toki Tori.

Game Two:
It was a game where you played as a frog
I forgot the story, all I know is that you have to get to the end of the level
It was a top view, but at an angle more down. And I think the camera was fixed like that, Unless I never actually bothered to check.
I don't remember if there were weapons, but I think you jump on enemies.
The only level I remember starts off with the frog at the bottom right of the stage and has to go onto logs on his left and work his way up.
I know this sounds like frogger, but I'm pretty sure it's not.
also, the graphics were 3D models.

Game Three:
It was an online third person/RTS hybrid thing
I remember one team were these monster things
There were different classes to choose from.
The only creatures I remember is a winged humanoid creature and a giant monster thing.
There were skills you could use in order to defeat the enemy team
The goal of the game was to destroy the enemy base.
In the RTS aspect of it (which I never got into) had you making all the major building you need (like a normal RTS game)
There was also a class of builders that can build smaller buildings that the RTS dude can't
EDIT:
Found this game! It's called Savage 2: A Tortured Soul https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDafBJbFhZU

Sorry for the very vague descriptions. Hopefully someone out there can remember something about these games so I can go back to enjoying them again. :33

Hi! If anyone could help me with this, I'll be so so happy that I'll actually cry.

Things I know about this game (i can be wrong):

-It's an ACTION RPG i think.
-You can choose start with a male or a female only.
-When you die, the character screams and drop all items
-There is some kind of "boss" early in the game. An octopus or something like that.
-When you were exploring and the fight starts, all the doors closes and if you dont kill the mobs fast, they just respawn making it impossible. You have to kill the mobs quick in order to the doors open.
-There were some jelly or gelatine mobs.
-You have diferent powers with your sword, like fire and that.

I would really aprecciate all kind of help. Really want this game and you guys are my only chance.

Sorry for my bad english and have a good day :)

Same game as before written differently to maybe get answers :(

- Turn-based tactics game
- While trying to find the game. One game called Silent Storm looked similar but didn't include any of the next two things
- Breakable Melee Weapons (I remember a steel pipe)(and maybe, but really not sure about that, only certain characters could use heavier weapons)
- Featured some kind of monster ennemies (Insects I think)
- I remember a level that maybe looked like the outside of an oil factory at night

Pleassseeee help, I played a PC games in the late 90s and I was based on a cruise ship where u could go round all the kitchens and decks and rooms and up on the top, it was a platform game so lots of jumping was involved! I'm pretty sure although not certain that the character was a cartoon mouse ... Please help I've posted before and no one replied :-(

I remember a game. It was a Download I believe on PC. It was a kid like MMORPG. You start as a naked dude with a sword. you kill green slimes and other weird creatures. I remember you can get different weapons, upgrade armor and weapons was very WOW like. I remember you could set up a shop in a shop area and sell stuff or buy stuff from others. I cannot remember the name of it or find anything anywhere. Any help is appreciated. I recall you could be a bandit too and get throwing stars.

Your Correct! Thanks!

Hi. I'm looking for an old pc game. I believe it was called CELL, but cant find anything. It was a 2d game where u was suppose to kill your opponents who could be AI or a friend. Up to 4 players i think. You start with only your fists as weapons but it dropped weapons down on the map like iron pipes and rifles. You climbed ladders from platform to platform and if you fall down from the platforms you die landing in spikes and scraps, and hear a scream and cracking sound. you could also create your own maps.

One game that also game to my head that I LOVED to play, but I had to wipe my computer and I was never able to find it. :(

It was an online PC game which was team deathmatch. You can play as a girl, robot, or some big buff dude. It was extremely cartoony and kinda chibi-ish. I don't really remember the guns used, but they felt like toys, but they weren't toys. They just didn't look like weapons that would be real. I remember one level that was a house and one of the team spawns was inside a bathroom. I remember people would glitch out of the ceiling, as there was no ceiling, and kill everyone like that :P. That's all I remember. Amazing game though.

I'm looking for a PS1 game that was also made into a 1 OVA anime.
You would run around with a dude and fight some people, also some monsters in other missions.
The first mission was in some warehouse, second I think at the bay and later on there's some mission in a cave of ice or something like that.
I think you would get stats to upgrade after missions, you could also have some weapons.
the best what I can remember is at some point you would get a set of armors you could choose from. like one increases strength, another speed and the third one is I think durability.
Anyone remember this?

BUMB AGAIN!
please someone help me :-( i never got any answer, please be patient and read, someone out there MUST have played this game, i cannot be the only one lol XD

i have an hard game to remember. it was an ms-dos game, i remember i was playing it together with Electro Body (Electro Man), so it could be in the '90-'92 about; electro body was a Shareware version, so i don't know if this one was a demo version or whatever else.

there is a name floating in my mind for this game: "Phyrian...Phyxian..." i tried searching for it, but didn't find any result. maybe the name is wrong or partially wrong :-(

i'll try to describe what i remeber of this game:

before starting, there is a short intro video/animation only showing a guy with a jetpack crashing in a sand desert (you only hear the sound of the crash), and there is a cave entrance in the sand if i remeber well.
this guy seems to be the protagonist, and it wears an orange/yellow sand suit (maybe space suit) with helmet of same color.
you start the FIRST LEVEL in a kind of underground tunnel, armed with a gun (unlimited) that was firing white rectangular thin shoots, and a sort of grenade launcher(limited) that was firing a circular red grenade. i remember there were 2 indicators, one for the health and one for the grenade ammos.

you have to proceed among this tunnel moving to the right.
you see a kind of blue pattern on the ground (like a line on the ground), and mountains on the background above the tunnel.
there is a point where the blue pattern is interrupted and you are not able to proceed; you have to shoot in some way the mountains in the up background to provoke a kind of collapse, then the blue pattern is restored and you can pass over, i remeber you can do it either with the gun (with time) and the grenade launcher (instantly).

the enemies you encounter on this level are a kind of green/blue small floating things. you can easily get rid of them by not moving at great velocity.
you end the level just by going straight to the right.

in the SECOND LEVEL, the background changes totally too, this new area was like a inner base/laboratory/whatever similar.
you move by walking, no more jetpack, and if i remeber well you wear a totally different suit; but you keep the same weapons, plus you have a kind of grabbing hook that you use to reach upper platforms (a very uncomfortable tool).

i remember that the moving was like a shit (for a child like i was, at least). no running, only slow walking.
jumping was frustrating...you could only perform small jumps (up, or at right/left direction) and you could not correct it while performing it, like: you've pressed jump on that direction? now wait only to land/crash on whatever you find.
..... well yes, a lot similar to Electro Body. coincidence?

on the floor, at the start, you find a pile of explosive barrels and more of the them commonly in the ground.
getting in touch/landing on one of those barrels meant insta-death, so you had basically to shoot them to clear the road.
you find walking/shoooting enemies with human resemblance, they shoot like red shoots that you can hardly avoid by timing jumping.
there could be a monitor/computer somewhere that you could interact to do something, maybe just to get informations, i don't really remeber.

then, on the upper platforms that you can reach with the hook, i remember you encounter big eggs, releasing a flying enemy, like a winged devil (maybe green), that was hard to get rid of.
moving to the right, from platform to platform, i remeber having found an area with a kind of floppy disk on the ground, and 3 or more surveillance cameras shooting at you. i remember you could collect the floppy, but every time you got it, it felt on the ground (frustrating !!!).
instead, if you moved to the top-left, you found another area with a kind of parked small navicel with the shape of an Ufo and a violet color (maybe).

i never was able to end this level. never realized what i had to do. maybe taking the floppy disk to the navicel? boh!

any help is appreciated ! THANK YOU !

if someone found this already, sorry. i tried to go through all the new pages but didnt find anything, so i'm reposting in hopes someone's memory-bells jingle.

i'm looking for what i think is an old-ish game. i know it came out before 2009. it's a "shape puzzle" type game. the basic plot was that an evil wizard had turned the village into stained glass images. to free the objects and people in the village, you had to complete the image by using the shapes that fell down on the left hand side of the screen to finish the picture. the basic shapes (so the shapes all the larger ones were formed from) were a square sitting on its corner and a small triangle. it was a brightly colored game, and the background music was fairly gentle and zen. you could "level up" sort of, which let you choose new shapes to use in the images, get more points and things like that. i rem that some of the earliest puzzles in the game you had to complete were a bridge and a lamp-post. i don't rem how big the game was installed, but i think it counted as a "minigame", of the type Popcap and the like make. any help would be appreciated, its been driving me crazy trying to find out what this game was called.

i have checked Popcap and Bigfish games and similar companies' catalogues and didn't manage to find it.

Can anyone remember a game console before 97' that is possibly a vtech console? You created scenes (park, lake etc) with little pictures(guy on bike, swings, people, boats etc) that were already there, that were like stamps I suppose. It was a really fun creativity game. I want to find it for my kids because I loved it when I was a kid! I can't remember too much about it other than that.

I remember playing a game when I was a kid that I'd love to find again.
It was a 3rd person space strategy game. It had different sizes and styles of ships, all the way up to a really big circle-looking thing that was a big base defense station. While empire building was done turn-based, Battles were fought in a different screen that was real-time, or turn-based real time. I seem to recall that the dominant weapon was lasers, and it showed the line of the laser as it fired from one ship to another. I seem to remember the dominant color of the battles being pinkish, or fuchsia, although I'm pretty sure it was post-CGA graphics era.
It seems like different planets had different atmosphere types and you had to build a colony ship that matched that planet type.
I also remember that you could set time to pass, and as it did, the game played arpeggio-like music as time passed. (But this little detail might have been a different game, lol).

Any ideas? It seems like it was around 92-98?
I looked at the Space Empires series, but I don't think it was any of those.

Master of Orion?

Unfortunately no. I think I still have that one.
Anyone else have any ideas? My brother thinks it may have had a variation of "colonization" in the title.

Ok so Im looking for a game that i know is no longer available; You would pick form i believe 4 mages each with one of the 4 elements and then battle others in an arena, I remember a forest and a lava level...it was a cool game. I also remember the wind mage rode a broom and as fastest.

Hey, I'd be pretty surprised if anyone knew the game I'm looking for, but I'll try and describe it here:

A game from around the early 1990's, point-and-click adventure with puzzles and a minimalist cartoony artstyle (think sharp edges, characters look like they were cut from construction paper, etc.). You play a kid who wears a (I think) army green t-shirt and a red baseball cap, who gets in trouble with a criminal organization and spends the game trying to infiltrate said organization (to find a kidnapped relative or something). At one point in the game, you find a giant excavation machine with a drill, and you have to fix it by rearranging the gears on it and sorting chemical compounds to power the battery. You also have to choose which color of laser will be best for tracking footprints in the tunnels ahead (green, or else you get lost and it's gameover). The kid you play has a shrill, whiny voice.

That's about all that I remember. I played this when I was about 4 or 5, and haven't had any luck tracking it down.

Probably won't be able to find it since it wasn't in english (Don't know if there was a US release), but I'm looking for a real time strategy game on the pc where the main character was a girl (I think she was a princess with blue or white hair) with a sword. You can buy troops for your army and the gameplay was similar to starcraft (real time strategy except you don't build stuff). The story had a bit of a fantasy setting to it and the art for the characters were anime-ish. (Sorry if I'm not very descriptive. I played this game when I was little and don't remember much about it. Game was made between 1999 and 2004)

If anyone knows what this game is, it'd be really helpful.

Thanks :)
