I really need to know the name of the old desert game where you see how many days you can survive, i think its on windows xp but not sure

i cant remember the game it was a while back on a game system xbox or ps2 ps1 im not sure but in this game you could select monsters. and it was like the elements could fight. and there was always one that was locked i think you had to beat the game but i had only played demo. you could choose to be a demon of some sort or the locked one was a god. if any one at all can help me find this game it would be apprishiated alot

I remember playing a some kind of adventure on PC where you start in a US 1950s-styled kitchen in a small town. You don't remember anything and tell that to your family. Everybody talks you down since you have always been "a funny one". The game then gets a lot bloodier and more bizarre including a strange cult. The animations in the game were also quite special (real life person filmed and included in the game), I think this style was quite popular in a period of the 90s.

Any help with the title of the game?

Edit: "Harvester" is the title.

Hi everyone :)

I'm looking for the title of an Asteroids-like game from late 90's, perhaps 2000. I remember it being quite funny in its expression, as the "asteroids" for each level were replaced by eyeballs, snooker balls and so on.

I'd appreciate your help.

Looking for a PC game that came out between 1995-2000 (could be 2001-2002). All I remember is playing as either humans or "greys" in the campaign. You had your basic soldier units, advanced units, flyers, etc. It's not Starcraft. I remember it had cinematics, too. One I remember distinctly was of some humans fighting some greys and one of the greys got their head blown off and it should the pulsing red insides.

Any ideas?

I want to say Mars something, or Red, or maybe I'm totally wrong. I remember also that selecting units when playing as the Greys would have this cheesy robotic voice. I remember "Trooper" sounded like Tooper.

Help! Any is massively appreciated!

There is this one game i realy realy want to know

So you are one of those sticks in PONG and you start in a jail and you need to destroy boxes to get out. Later in the game you go to a catsle and in the casle the are soldiers that you need to kill (with the ball) and it is for ps1 so please help me find what game it is.

I NEED HELP. I once played this game on PS2 where you were an asain fighter guy and you used the right joystick to fight. If you tilted back you would hit the person behind you, same goes for all other directions. I just remember that it was a third person game where you would run and jump over stuff and then fight groups of people. Please help if you can.

i have a seperate thread on this cuz im new to the site and didnt realize this thread so im gonna ctrl c, then v it:
new to the site, stumbled onto it while trying to identify and old arcade that was at a local grocery store growing up.thats right kids, you heard me;there used to be arcade games at grocery stores.man they were everywhere...anyways i think this is gonna be a hard one.these are the details i remember:
*it was a sidescroller.
*there were four players, the main one i think was a white guy that had an orange(or yellow?)outfit with a star on the chest, there was a girl(i think red outfit),a black guy in a green outfit(pretty sure his name was edgar and he was the biggest), and i think another dude that wore blue.(not sure about the blue guy, pretty sure it was another white guy).
*everybody had lasers or some kinda gun,one of the power-ups is a jetpack
*i was a kid so this predates playstation.by alot.it was roughly between 1990-95
*i fed this thing many quarters,as older games were generally harder.so if u find the name of this game you are the MAN!unless you're a woman. then yknow, you da WOMAN!

Was that Gauntlet?

no, think gunstar heroes but probably older...maybe nes(maybe pre snes?)

i remember a game where you had to protect and feed these round alien things til their pod/ship was fixed ????? need help with the name!!!

I remember playing an old point and click pc game with a blonde protagonist and a purple shape shifting animal sidekick but i just cant seem to remember the name. Any help will be appreciated :)

Torin's Passage?

Here is one that has been driving me crazy for months:

A DOS game; takes place on a spaceship where you complete a series of mine-arcade game to save a king who is trapped in a large glass container with green jello. The king's container has a bomb on top which must be disarmed; the bomb has a component which is a mouse running in a wheel.... Any ideas?

PLEASE HELP!!!

I remember this game which was like some kind of race but in snowboards.
It was like on kind of anime and i remember you could use like items to stunt your oponents and things like that.

I played this game like 4 years ago on a SNES emulator on my computer, but my computer just stopped working and now i don't remember the game.

If you ever played this game or remember the name please tell me!! I'm dying for this game!!

HELP!
I've been trying to remember this PC game for years, but the more I try to recall, the more it fades...
I think I was playing it a good 15yrs ago.
It was set in space, on a planet? You were a woman, possibly carrying out missions. Birds eye view, flying a spaceship/plane around a grid, much like grand theft auto. The play was interrupted by dialogue screens between characters. I remember there being an accident, and the woman character was now half robot.
That's all I've got...

Any help!

A few days late, but this sounds a lot like Traffic Department 2192.

You absolute beauty! I would never have remembered that! Thank you so much! I've been trying to remember that for years!!
1994....makes me feel old!

time to pick the brains of all of you out there . sony playstation (the first ps console) pre 2000 , what is the name of the game that is a tank based maze/puzzle type of game ? this game title has been driving me crazy for years lol .

Hi, everyone, first off, this is brilliant, also I have been trying to remember the name of a game I played back in the 90s on PC, I imagine Windows 95.

All I can recall is it was some form of puzzle game, that involved time travel to historic places, I remember the pyramids in Mexico and being in a castle, any ideas? If it help I think it was a 3 or 4 disc game! Thanks.

I have just found the game I was on about, if anyone is interested it was The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time

I have one that has bothered me for a long time. I know its not crash bandacoot or rayman. You are a small hairy guy and you run around completing tasks, and its very multicolored and there are giant exclamation points. Dont remember much about it, its a PS original game. Other than that I dont remember much. Everyone I ask about it says it doesnt exist, but I know it has to because I only played this game and Rayman. Help!!

I remember playing a game, I think it was for the PC, I am assuming it is rather old like released between 98-04. From what I remember it was a fantasy rts/strategy/or rpg. The game started out at a selection wheel where you picked from different races/elements. I could only pick from two different of the element things, one was a light based one, where I remember a light glowing mushroom and green naturey stuff. The other one was a fire dark skeleton race where I remember starting out with various units and the fight starting rather quickly, I remember loosing a lot.

Thats all I remember of the game, and I would really like to find out what the game was. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Jodah:
There was this demo I played. It was on one of those "100 great games" disks you could get at Wal-Mart and such. It was a game in space and you would fly around trading stuff. Buy low sell high kind of thing. You could upgrade your ship and had to deal with pirates and stuff. That's about all I can remember about it. Once in awhile I think about it but I lack the ambition to try to figure out what it was called. If anyone knows what I'm talking about it would be stuperpendous!

Sounds a little like elite but not the pirate part

Obsydeon:
I'm trying to find an old PC game. It was top-down, IIRC. Arena-style soccer, except you drove cars. Started with light little vehicles, and as you won you could work your way up to heavier and more heavily-armed vehicles. There were random 'tiles' on the arena floor that would accelerate or slow you, or one called 'vector-velocity' that just chucked you in a random direction. It might have been for Genesis instead of PC, but I don't think so.

This sounds like the game i've been looking for for a year now I played it on a friends 386 i'm guessing between 92 and 94 it was either on dos or win3.1 as you won matches you could upgrade your vehicle / car. you could also destroy the opposition players if you had a more heavily armoured car - i vaguely remeber one with teeth being able to eat the other team. My friend and i spent the whole night playing this game and drinking beer (possibly why i can't remeber the name) would love if someone could remember the name

cheers

Totally wild guess, but maybe either Tomba![1] or Punky Skunk?

Edit: Or maybe even Klonoa. There were a lot of colorful but relatively obscure 2D platformers on that system.

Edit Edit: If it's not exclusively 2D and 2.5D platformers, it might even be something like Spyro the Dragon. Go through the list here and see if something rings a bell. It's only two pages long, and it contains (at least in theory) every platformer released on the PS1.

[1] It was called "Tombi!" in Europe

When I was a child I remember playing a game.

I'm almost positive it was for the SNES, but it had FF type graphics, and the main character was a knight of some sort in all blue with a blue cloak.

The combat was almost like final fantasy as well, but I've checked every one-- it's not FF.

I remember the combat was a mix of sorts, it had the old NES FF type battle system but it had better looking sprites.

And I think at the beginning of the game this guy is on a spaceship or an airplane of some sort

I absolutely hate my brain that I can't remember it-- I've tried google searching every last SNES game but I just can't find it.

I know it's really vague, but if anyone had at the very least a hint that'd be awesome.

its not snes. but a blue knight on an airplane sounds like alundra 2 for psx, hope that helps

ok this is such a vague memory so im sorry if its useless, but it was a ps1 game that was like a birds eye view ack and slash and you adventured through forests, if i remember correctly there where several different characters and races you could choose from.

also there was a sega game where you could pick from four characters and you had to go through levels collecting parts of a rocket and carrying them back to the start of the level to rebuild the rocket? please help ive been trying to remember for ages now

I barely remember a game I used to play as a little kid...

It was in the late 90's or the beginning of the 00's. It's a computer game, where you collect resources. You can use different vehicles to collect different resources.. It is a dark, lava/dirt-ish theme. Hope for answers!

hey guys i also have two forttgoten games from my childhood..

- the first one is about a police car that can be transormed into an armor (like the robocop armor) and you can use diffrend kind of wappons..your opponents are machiness, such as huge spiders and stuff..also has a two player mode, where the one is the blue robocop and the other is the red..and you are playing in order to gain land and take over the oponents base..while doing that you can produce tanks, airplains and other machiness..the icon in desctop is a cop budge..i think that the game was called ''robocop'' but when i google it i can only find the classic robocop games...i used to play it in windows 98..

-the second game is the one i remember less.is about 4 different tribes.the blue, the red,the green and the yellow..the chief is the magician.every tribe's magician can use speciffic type of magic.the point of the game is to conquer the other villages and make them yours, while making magic battles..i remeber having the yellow wizard and doing some awesome lightning magic.the icon used to be an earth.i don't recall at all a name..also in '98..

if you know or you think you might know please tell me..i really want to play again these games..ty..^^

omg this is what i've looking for..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! future cop...thank you so much

been bothering me for the longest time. I'm afraid i don't remember much.

old game from the mid-90s

possibly for early ps1, it was some console game i'm sure (not pc)

the game itself had simple graphics, i think it was a kind of driving/racing/3rd person shooter that could either be single player or 2 player. it was kinda like a classic arcade game, you always drove ahead and the levels looped back on themselves until you killed all the bad guys.

I remember live action scenes in between levels. these scenes were very sci-fi, but what i remember clearly is that there was a silhouette of two dudes watching these scenes from a couch (i guess they were supposed to be the target audience playing this sort of game). these guys would make smart-ass comments and joke around-crashing completely through the fourth wall and embedding itself in my memory forever.

that's all i can remember.
this thread looked like the best place to try for an answer.

Thanx in advance ^.^

JS_Lynch:
I haven't actually played the game, but i saw its trailer like a hundred times, and i still want to play it! It featured some rabbit-like(or something the same size) white creature and it had another squirrel-like(or something the same size) creature cuffed to its arm with a long chain and it(the "rabbit" that is) just went around smashing computers with it(with a squirrel) in some science lab or something.Does anybody know what the hell am i talking about?

That's whiplash

Err...either we've gotten a sudden influx of new members or all those 'Anonymous Source' posts are by the same person/bot. :/ I mean...they -seem- like legitimate posts, but they're kinda creeping me out...they've all got this kind of 'super-excited cat' vibe coming off them. But maybe that's just me?
