Razhen3: I have a few games which I have never been able to figure out their names, but I can only think of one right now.
I played this game when I was 3 or 4 years old, so realize this may be innacurate :) . I played it on an old school computer (it was no later than 1991 I think) and I believe the game had 5-10 floppy disks. I have always wanted to say it is called Dragon's Lair, but every internet search I've used has always turned up games that never look similar.
It probably was Dragon's Lair, but there's just been so many version released you've had a hard time finding information on the particular one you're seeking. Wikipedia has a list of all of the DL titles:
Dr. Gorgenflex: There was this fighting game for the sega genesis that had a bunch of different fighter. It played like Street Fighter, and there was this one dude the laser vision.
Also I remember my dad playing a western shooter a very long time ago. It was pretty much my first encounter with video games when I was about 3. It was on the PC and had something to do with a dog.
EmmyBear: Okay, this has been driving me crazy for about 3 years I used to play this really good game on ps1 and it was about a boy whose granddad had gone missing and they lived in a windmill or something like that And you went along all these amazing places even ending up in this really cool water palace thing and had to fight this big bad magic boss at the end. and I ADORED it. >.< Everytime i ask someone they have no clue ):
Erm I might also be getting confused with this other game, and you were a boy but it was kinda like a cave man thing, and you went along and you could jump about and it was kinda a platform rpg thing >.< I hate not remembering my games I wanna play them
My boyfriend suggested heart of darkness, but it's not that ¬.¬'
I know of the pink caveman game you are talking about that is called Tombi or Tomba depending on where you live. But the best news is I think I have found the game I have been so desperately looking for. I think it is called "Klonoa: Door To Phantomile" have a look at this link http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/197741-klonoa-door-to-phantomile/images
I remember playing it on the PS1 but it is now been remade for the Wii. I am interested to know if this is the game you are also searching for :D

It was Tomba. I suggested it in the previous page and she PMed me her reply.
mechazeep: I remember this old Nintendo 64 game I rented a lot back in the 90's. It was this game where you controlled a minature helicopter in a back yard setting. The first level (what I remembered most) was a patio, with rain pooring. I forgot what you objectie was..I'm pretty sure to rescue some wax soldiers but I wass young so I remember little. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Pleasse! This has been bugging me forever!
Army Men: Air Attack?
That was another one I rented! Fond memories....ahhh. But thats not quite the game I was refering. Maybe it didn't have wax soldiers, but I knew it took place in a backyard....
theres this game on the first play station where you start off on a ship, then theres a storm and you wake up on a beach. then some guy takes you to his house and you wake up in his bed. then you walk around the village and talk to people. if you go outside the village things will attack you. also throughout the game you black out and remember things before the ship wreck. PLEASE HELP ME!
Not that I've played it, but was there ever an arcade fighting game with an attack called "groinkick"? I may have conjured it from imagining what that would sound like in such a game, but I don't know.
Hey guys, wondering if you can help me figure out this game!
Its a PC game from the late 90s, double dragon style beat em up. The main characters are two robots/microchips with blue and red boxing gloves. One does punching combos the other does kick combos. As you kill other enemy robots you collect orbs and can level up and develop better combos.
i'm trying to think of this game I played in the early 90's and it was either for the playstation or sega or super nintendo it had street fighter graphics and gameplay...it might have been for playstation but I can't think properly...anyways the only two characters I can think of is this dead pharoh mummy with one of his combos being this thing where his arms stretches and goes underground and then shoots up on the other side of the screen to the enemy asnd this other character is a werewolf that I think that jumped around a lot punching and kicking and it made me think he was break dancing as a kid for some reason.
When I was little I had a computer game where you could take care of dogs.If you didn't take care of them they would run away. You could adopt as many as you wanted to but there wasn't many types to choose from. You could decorate your living room with tons of stuff from a wardore looking thing at the center of the room. You could give the dogs treats and toys and all sorts of stuff. You could only have 2 at a time out not counting if one had a puppy.
If anybody knows of a game like this please tell me! I can't thank you enough for helping! -Bigchill FIRE SO COLD IT BURNS!

One of the Dogz games. I don't know which one because there were loads of them.
When I was a kid, I remember watching my cousin play some PC game, where he killed a giant cyclops monster by filling a room with radioactive waste. I remember he had night vision, and that he had to dart across bridges while avoiding the monster's attacks to activate the waste dispensers. I got older, and was wondering, so I went searching. My first thought was Half-Life, because the bit in the blast pit seems similar (Using the environment to kill something huge) but no dice. The graphics are different, and there's no similar monster. The mystery game remains a mystery.
MaxP779: There was this game that i played on windows 3.1, im 75% sure it was called "ball" but that turns up nothing in google so im probably wrong. You play as a ball though, trying to get through obstacles etc, im pretty sure it was a bit of a puzzle game, very colorful, overhead isometric view. It wasent marble madness, it looked way better than that.
I have no idea what this was, it was on my first comp which was a 2nd hand 486sx bought from some guy, it came with simcity 2000 installed and this "ball" game. It was really fun until i screwed up the computer and broke it lol.
I think it's called Marble Blast. There's a gold version, too.
Id really appreciate if any1 could tell me what the name of this game is, despite the vague details. I think you can start either as a boy or a girl or a girl only, your like a knight and your like in this castle and you like venture off to forests or deserts/valleys fighting off monsters, you encounter griffins and i think it was giant lizards or giant turtles. You are in a group sort of like final fantasy but not the same, the game is like rpg element and in one of the plot was that you went back into your fortress or castle at night and you talk with some one and you get ambushed inside the castle and you have to escape. It was a ps1 or ps2 game i wasnt so sure, but itd mean alot to me if any1 knew the name of this game.
I remember an old game, similar to vectoroids. It was around early to mid 90s and I can't remember if it was Mac or PC. It was before Windows 95 though i think. It had yellow shapes (i particularly remember cones) that you had to hide behind, you were a green (I think) triangle shaped unit and I think there was a red guy that was bad and could shoot at and kill you. I think you could choose to play in arial or 3D mode. This is about all I can recall unfortunately. Either way I remember LOVING this game and haven't yet been able to remember it's name or find anyone who does.
Hey guys, I have been trying to figure out this game I played a lot, maybe 10-12 years ago. It was for the PC and it was a RTS type game. The user could make custom tank type things from the main menu and then use them in a skrimsh game. The game play started with a large mother ship type thing and you would have to be over this crystal stuff to gain some form of energy, and then you could build the tanks you ceated. you could chohose from treads that could go over rocks to normal tires that were faster and hover crafts that could go over water. Thanks for the help guys.
Hey, I remember playing a PC game where you play as this black round-ish hovering pod/tank thing with glowing jet engines (I think?), and I could pick up different items around the maps and stuff... including yellow rockets. Also, 90% top-down view, sort of like Diablo (it's not a RPG, though) I only played the demo version though, but I played it alot :V The game had a sort of dark atmosphere too. I just can't figure out what the name was, and it's bugging meeeee
I don't exactly expect anyone here to have played it, but if there's anyone who has, please tell me the name if you remember.
Psycho Cat Industries: There was this one game where you played as this alien working for a company who extincted animals for snack food and then targets his race. The name doesn't really come up in my head.I remember that it had a sequel or two
Think this one is Oddworld: Abe's Oddyssey. It has two sequals, one called Abe's exodus?
PS2 game that involved mechs. Some points about it are: 1:Mechs. 2:You could get sponsored by different companies when you became good enough. 3:Fight in an arena against other mechs. 4:Buy "A.I"s that looked liked various animals. 5:100 days of competition then it would reset and went on for another 100 days. 6:There was a plot were in some conversations people would suddenly disappear and they would have found to have been killed.
If anyone knows please help, this game has been stuck in my head for ages and I can't find the name of it.
A PS1 game which was an overhead shooter where you controlled a space ship I think, over a city at night. I had the demo of the game but never owned it.
Also a fighting game which involved a character (a woman I believe) which was dressed in motorcycle gear. Again a demo on the PS1.
i remember playing this spaceship 1 on 1 fighting game probably more than ten years ago on an old apple mac, you start off with a crap ship and crap guns against an evenly matched enemy, you get money for killing them and you can then buy upgrades for your ship inbetween battles if you saved up enough money you could even buy a better ship, i think the best thing about the game was that it had little sound bites from tv when you killed an enemy or died yourself, i remember hearing some guy from star trek going ''hes dead jim!'' when i killed someone then you would hear fred from the flintstones go ''yaba daba doooo!'' lol it was an awsome game and it was realy hard. i remember it being called something like doZ but i cant find any evidance of that name or this game anywhere online. can anyone help me i would love to get a pc version or even some information on it? cheers Guy
brittneee: theres this game on the first play station where you start off on a ship, then theres a storm and you wake up on a beach. then some guy takes you to his house and you wake up in his bed. then you walk around the village and talk to people. if you go outside the village things will attack you. also throughout the game you black out and remember things before the ship wreck. I'n going to guess you're thinking of the first Alundra.
A long time ago on my families old computer, that used an OS that wasn't Windows sometimes in the mid to late 90's. It was a very simplistic RPG where you played a man who's family (and whole village) had been killed by the local baddie. You would start the game and walk forward a few steps (top-down view, very, very, old simple graphics) find your home village burned, get the message the baddie did it and you must quest to stop him. From there you went forward and at some point found a cave and when you entered it you got to the first dungeon (of which there were two) a multi-leveled place (it used a random dungeon generator, possibly one of the first). It would be a white background with black lines for walls, you would wander around collecting items (there was a ton of different equipment for your dude) while fight bad guys (ghosts, manticores, gelatinous cubes, classic D&D stuff). From there you went to the major city and the castle/fort/base of the baddie and started making your way through the levels of that place. And that was it. It was small in content but I loved the randomly generated dungeons and collecting equipment and gold and improving my dude. I would love to be able to play it again.
Teddy Roosevelt: I remember an old N64 game a long time ago where you had these futuristic motorcycles. Now, you didn't just race. You had guns. You always had a default autocannon type weapon, which fired a basic blaster round, and then there were various missiles and such. Three weapons I remember were the yellow rocket, which was direct fire only and had zero lock on and went in a straight line through the air. The red rocket was more of a guided missile that would lock on to any visible target and it would fly at it without following the track, so it could crash into hills in the track and such. The final one was a purple missile which would follow the course without fail and hit the nearest person ahead.
The game mode I remember playing was something called "shoot 'em up," which basically had you going around a track shooting at these weird disc-looking things at the edge of your line of sight. You could see them blow up, but they would always keep coming back in greater numbers, and you could never catch them.
Sounds a lot to me like 'Extreme-G'. Was pretty cool I guess.
Thank you so very much for reminding me. You have enhanced my reminiscing ability.
sounds like forsaken? to me was an awsome game with cool music and loads of different whepons you could pick up
Inochea: PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE TITLE OF AN OLD GAME!!!! I'm looking for an old game I used to play in an old MAC. basically it is a puzzle game about a BLACK BALL you would control with the mouse and the goal was to hit the ball against some certain cube (or cubes) which would activate in order to pass to the next level (the game had many levels each of greater difficulty). Of course there where all sorts of obstacles. It has to be from the early 90's (along with this game the computer had Prince of Persia II and lemmings). That's basically it, please I would apreciate any help!
That's Oxyd or one of it's sequels. Or possibly the one before it.
You are in luck however. There is a freeware open source implementation called Enigma now :D
Pandwanda: I remember this one marble game that was on the school computers a few years back. basically you have a huge system of switches and metal railings that the marbles would slide down along and you had different goals, like line up the marbles in this sequence of colours or just get all the marbles to the bottom. Almost everything in the game was gold, brown or silver except for the marbles which were a whole bunch of colours depending on teh level. Hope someone can help me find it, it was really fun, haha
Sounds a lot like Marble Drop. But not entirely sure given the description. Been a long time since I played it.
snip Edit: I'll add my own query though it's vague...

That's Castle Of The Winds. Or at least it sounds VERY much like it.

I used to go to my neighbors and play this side scrolling, math game where you went around and tried to find a certain number of a certain item, like you would have to find 3 bushes or 2 big sunflowers. It took place all on different levels of a cliff and when you found the right scene then you took a math challenge. After a certain number of challenges you would go to the top of the cliff to the castle and collect a treasure and slide all the way back down and do it all over again.
I've scouring the internet for the name of this game and I just can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Hello :) Okay so there's this old game I remember playing like, 9 years ago on the PS1 (i think), and I'm hoping someone knows what I'm talking about...
So I think the game was an RPG with a turn-based fighting system, much like the pokemon games. You started out playing as a guy, and then one night while you were sleeping your little sister woke you up because something was wrong. And you can fight these jelly blob things that make noises and get all spikey when they attack. I don't remember much after that, but somewhere along the way you are either in a group with/friends with/or can control a girl who fights with you. And if your group needs money you can go into some bar or something and have her do karaoke/dance or something.
I know this probably isn't helpful, but does anyone have an idea of what that game might be? I was thinking it could be in the final fantasy/legend of zelda family, but I'm not so sure. I just remember that I loved that game and I want to play it again.

Alrighty Ive read every page seeing the game knoweledge here and after 6 hrs of computer staring and no game help from google Links someone help me lol.
It's for playstation 2 my friend let me borrow and after getting ultra mad at it I quit, You were this bionic enhance guy who could make his bionic arm and stuff into diffrent weapons as you spent experience to upgrade like scythe's and such. Whenever you killed anything blood would explode everywhere and when I farmed up alot of experience and was sure I'd beat the first boss and went and fought HIm, he was wearing a red tech suit only his was way more advanced and he killed me fairly easily. So i quit. Sorry if thats not much of a help.
