Hey, I've been searching for a couple of old games with no success. Maybe you can help me.
#1 Old game where the character was either a bunny or a frog, I know it had the same mechanics like frogger, crossing the road etc. I think it was a 2D perspecive and the second level was a maze with water 'walls' in which you could drop and a timer. When it ran out an anvil would squash your character.
#2 Old game platformer, shooter, aiming with the mouse, in the sewers or something similar with the most basic enemies turrets hung on the ceiling and walls.
#3 Old game similar to starcraft, in which you had to build you colony, develop and you could buy bazooka ants or bugs or something similar.

I don't think I made myself very clear in my explanations so if there's any trouble understanding I'll try to clarify.
Thanks in advance.

EDIT: If relevant they could be played on a 286 PC.

Gameplay: Your screen is always the control room/cockpit of your spaceship, with a viewscreen either showing space, or the alien planet that you have landed on. You go around to different worlds and discover different creatures you can see on your view screen some look friendly and others look mean, and you pick up specimens of these creatures and the number of creatures you have in your ship goes up (it's just a number on one of your panels) but if you pick up the wrong ones I guess it eats all the other ones and you go back to zero. I never figured out what the point of this game was or how to complete it but now that I'm an adult and not a wee child I'd like to find it and figure out what the point was and how you progress/'win'. Some of the creatures were interesting looking. They moved slightly on the screen so you could tell what was a living creature and what was just part of the planet backdrop.

Anyone have any clue what I'm talking about?

I solved mine finally, because I found out from talking with my dad that I was working off false parameters- we actually had an Apple II when I was super little, not a DOS PC, and it was on that and not a cartridge game like I thought. The game is Space Ark for Applie II. XD

Anyone tried posting their queries on r/tipofmyjoystick? They have some gurus on there.

a RTS, it's graphic looks like 2008-2015 era, there's Knight stage to level up by the lord's overall building n managements, there's deer hunter, wild meat(deer hunter) can be turn into sausage, at first play I see lot of desert & hills, there's herbs medic, bee honey farm, people's demand, stone mine, healthcare(idk maybe make use of those herbs medicine camp?) Swordsmen & Archer unit that can be placed on top of the wall so far I play only 18h(entire day) on my fr's house; the RTS era/age seems a Medieval Age no gunpowder thingy sighted.
I'll open this thread maybe 1-2w later. I so <33 Aestheticc Animu same era I born 1995 XD

I have made an account just to find this game I played about 8 years ago online for free (browser game). The game consists of a campaign mode in which you defeat bosses and gain new cars after ever few levels. In order to progress a new level you must either destroy all your opponents or win the race by completing all the checkpoints first without dying to the opponent cars. Some Of the cars you face are faster but weak and some are stronger but much slower so you have to choose your car wisely.

I don't know it it helps but the game had a logo of a green or Red Devil face that flashed colours with the title.

I remember this one game where you were a chicken on this farm and you had to hit the other players with a shovel or something? Please help

That sounds kind of like Oxenfree: http://store.steampowered.com/app/388880/

Is not that one. The one i'm searching for is older.

Holy shit, I've been looking for this game too for forever. Definitely point and click PC puzzle adventure game, heavily inventory based and I think I remember tesla coils or electricity involved somehow with the distant mystery island. I think the kids were your siblings? Or related in some way. The screen always displayed the whole room or outside area and your character would be superimposed on it and you would click around the area to move where you wanted to go. Any help finding this game would be super appreciated. It's not Myst or Oxenfree or anything.

Found it.
It's the Famous Five series. Since the Famous Five games are all set in the same place, the one I was thinking of might be different than the one you were thinking of.

I simply cannot remember the name of this old 3D puzzle game and its driving me crazy, here are the only things I can remember about it

1) I last remember playing it on my old DELL computer as a kid (6 years old so around 2007)

2) You played as a green dinosaur (i think) and I always used to call it "Bookless" or "Bombless" as a kid

3) You had to avoid enemies and use different colored bombs or orbs to progress through the level

4) On the third or fourth level, there were these tall lanky guys with skull-like faces

5) Boxes were a common obstacle

It was also cartoony as well

ECS_X:
Hello, there are two games I remember, but don't remember.

It was played on an old computer (don't know what kind), but like at least 11 years ago. There was a labyrinth game; it was three dimensional and you would move the platform to move the ball around. You would have to avoid falling in a hole. I remember that there were power ups, sadly I only remember one. It was an item you would have to get to become a ghost (which just let you go through walls).

The second game was this green slime goo plat former game. I think you had to escape. I really don't remember.

Please help. My searches have been futile.

Could it have been either Neverball or 3D Marble Flip? If not one of those, here a list of rolling ball games on MobyGames, unfortunately the list includes games were the ball is controlled directly and a few 2d games, but at least it's a starting point.

Edit: forgot to mention, it might also be The Labyrinth Plus! Edition, which came with Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP.

This is an old game I remember playing on pc around 12-14 years ago.

Its a platform game where you are an old man in a dungeon killing zombies and monsters by throwing axes or shooting a bow. In the first map I remember you start underground and you go through acid type of liquid in some ares and the most specific thing i remember is when you face a monster made of metal that you cant kill but damaging it makes it turn direction. I think the name of the game ends with a capital X.

I've been trying to figure out the name of this game for a couple of years now and if anyone knows which one im talking about that'd be great!

I'm trying to remember a game from like. Windows 98. I had a demo of it and like monster truck madness 2 at the time.

The game was a 3D vehicle warfare game with two bases, tanks, planes, all futuristic styled as I recall. The bases had different turrets you could jump into or you could jump into any vehicle. But you moved them on a map usually. I also recall the training had you shooting down floating six sided pillars.

Hello!

My dad and I have been searching for a racing game for the last 15 years. This is what we remember about it:

1. Instead of racing around a track, it was more like an arena with a track inside
2. The cars were alive, some looked like monsters - slime was involved
3. You were driving at night
4. You could leave oil slicks for other drivers
5. Before the race started, it would say "HERE WE GO!" in a high-pitched voice
6. There was some sort of building you always drove through right at the beginning

It would've been on an early PC os, and I thought the name might've contained either "gear" or "hog" - my dad thought it was "motorhead" but thats not the right one.

Any help would be appreciated. I think I've searched every corner of the internet by now but here's to hoping.

Game I recently can recall no name though thanks to alcohol lol.

Game has a viking character in it named Sven. It was a PC game from around 2002-2006 roughly. It also had some fairies in it that you had to collect to upgrade the characters in it. Sven the Viking was Blue, there was also yellow and red I think. The game was a download game from a website long ago called e-games? Around the time O2jam was popular was well. It had a somewhat anime chibi style characters that had an arrow in front of them that showed the direction you were facing as well as being able to run. Sorry for bad explanation, but its the best I can describe what I remember. I also feel like the name of the game had Project in it? I'm not sure, but don't let that throw you off.

The only 1 I got top of my head was this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lost_Vikings
An old game which is far-fetched to your description.

After some more in-depth search I got something else, though it doesn't feel the right one: https://www.google.ro/search?q=lost+saga+16&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjm1rSigbnYAhWQL1AKHVJyCfMQ_AUICigB&biw=1920&bih=949

Hi, there is a pc game from mid-2000 my mother wants to play but she doesn't know the name, she says it's called something along the lines of "kinderman", but I don't think it's right ...
The game is a platform game where the player control something superman-likey, and when he steps on green tiles, the tiles turn red (or viceversa idk), also there are huge-ass spiders that if they touch the "hero", the hero dies. I'm not sure but maybe there's an airplane too?
Please, if someone have even a guess, tell me.

I remember playing this old Playstation game. I wanna say PS1. It was turned based. And the whole thing was you are a kid in your village. Your dad is gone. And you are traveling through these mirrors. Each one is it's own world and you are trying to clear them to make it to the Birdman at the last mirror. I never finished the game. Last part I got to I was through a couple of the mirrors (there were only like, 5) and I met some guy guarding a bridge. And I didn't remember the password someone else gave me, so he killed me. Last I remember of it.
Anyone know? I tried googling my butt off and I can't find any pictures or references too it.

It plays like FFX. I remember that.

bump

hi there's this one game I've been trying very hard to remember but I can't think of the name!
all I can remember is that it is a 2d side scrolling platformer where you play as a ninja. i played it on my pc as a kid so I guess it's a pc game. some other things I can remember is that the first stage of the game was like grassy and it had enemies that were cats and other small animals, I think.

one more thing that game couldn't have been any older than 2000s but it was definitely made before 2010.

Platform(s): - PC

Genre: - Top Down RPG, Turn Based Combat

Estimated year of release: - i think early 2000's, probably like 1995-2005

Graphics/art style: - 2D, cartoony, pixel, 8-bit. closest thing i can compare would be like fire emblem or an old Pokemon like red.

Notable characters:
- Main character is a a guy with blonde spiky hair and i think a grey outfit.
- Your Best friend is a drunk dwarf with long brown hair and a beard.
- Jelly Cubes (enemy). i think blue and red
- red imps that look like runescape imps (enemy)
- i think the grim reaper? (enemy)
- there's statues of Cheesus, who is jesus but with a cheese head

Notable game-play mechanics:
- walking was standard free roaming
- combat was turn based and you move between squares, kind of like an old fire emblem
- i think there were a few puzzles. there's a puzzle where 2 water jugs are on scales and you need to balance them by swapping the amount of water between them

Other details:
- You wake up in your cabin and go next door to see your dwarf friend but he isn't home. He is black out drunk in a field, and when you get him you get attacked by a group of jelly cubes which are red or blue i think.
- The opening logo cutscene has the dwarf walk on screen, drink a beer and the beer gets struck by lightning and he chucks it. I think the logo was like "dwarf storm" or "lightning brew" or something.
- I had it as an .exe and have no idea if it was just downloadable or an actual disc game

also there was this one game i can't think of it was like a really cartoony game where you threw pies and stuff at robots or something?

i think it was an rpg game and had turn based combat

PLEASE:
I'm desperate,it's been stuck in my head for a year now and I've done everything I could to find it but I never did.
It's a PS2 game I used to play and I would do anything to just even watch a gameplay of it I miss the feeling of playing it so much:

It's a PS2 Game where you play as a boy who has little followers who fight along you,as far as I remember they were small, orange and white in color but didn't look human or anything, they were these ancient creatures or whatever that the more you have around you the stronger they become, they use these combined attacks where they can fuse into a stronger creature.I also remember puzzles and stuff that you had to solve using them and you would of course fight enemies with these little creatures.
-Little orange/white creatures that you can combine to get special powers-That's what I remember best.
(edit:I created an account on this site just to ask this question)
Please help me on this one,be the hero in need x)
And thank you

The one that comes in mind is Spyro The Dragon. But that might be far fetched and too old for 2007.

Okay, here's a real puzzle from my childhood:

I'm pretty sure this game was a pretty obscure shareware game in the 90s.
The game was set in Africa, or any savannah for that matter and the environment was either pseudo-3D or really low-resolution 3D.
The playable character is a lioness that's trying to survive as long as they can with a steadily increasing hunger and thirst.
All the characters and animals were low-resolution 2D sprites.
You could run around in third person view with the camera locked behind the lioness, drink from water sites and hunt wild animals (or go into one of the human villages and eat people, but they didn't fill the hunger meter a lot).

Hey everyone, just stumbled on this post an hour ago, and I wanna try my luck here since my memory isn't helping.

Just looking for 1 game (which I think it had a sequel) and here goes: It was a sort of action puzzle where you are a guy on a blue(ish?) jacket/sweeter, and your objective is to set up trap and pranks to piss of your neighbor. I think the story was basically that you were paid for it lol. Also, the neighbor was the usual old man, always on a white shirt and bald-ish head. There are even some levels were you have to work around not only him, but his dog and/or mother.

Hello guys.

I'm hoping someone can help with my search.. I'm looking for a game I used to play in my teens its kinda wierd and obscure, I've scoured the internet for it but I've been unsucessfull in finding it so far.
What I remember from it is that it's a story driven RPG set in medieval timesish; the main character is a human/hybrid which can transform in a monster to fight/kill other monsters/demons but the ability is optional; there might have been 2 abilities one would be a ranged and the other a melee sort of demon. There is a church involved and what I mean by that is that the church is responsible with cleansing the world of the demons, you being one of its "agents"..

It's an open world game well sort of, you load areas as you go and do what you want before proceeding in other areas, it was launched in early 2000s but I could be wrong, the camera/character control is like your witcher/fable//gothic etc. games.

Please let me know if it rings a bell to anyone.. Cheers.

I'm guessing it's Neighbours From Hell - Revenge Is A Sweet Game (2003), There is also a sequel as you said, it's Neighbours From Hell 2 - On Vacation (2004), The Compilation was created with both games included in 2006, I hope this helps. There are also unofficial versions 3, 4, 5 and 6 dotted around the web :)

You can buy the compilation on gog.com for GBP:7.59 https://www.gog.com/game/neighbours_from_hell_compilation

Yep that's the one!! Thank you so much!

I've been searching online for this game for years, but have just discovered this thread. Maybe you can help? This is an old game - probably early to mid 1980s - I believe for the old Macintosh. It was the simplest and possibly the most addictive game I have ever played, with a single control input (the space bar). The play area was a black screen randomly scattered with white blocks, into which a single-pixel white line would move. Basically, your job was to keep this white thread on the screen, and prevent it from either shooting out of the bottom or shooting out of the top. When you pressed the space bar down, this acted as a kind of thrust and the line veered higher; when you ceased to press the space bar, the thrust also ceased and you immediately lost altitude. When you connected with a white block, the line ricocheted back and began traveling in the opposite direction. Your objective was to keep the line in existence for as long as possible, bouncing back and forth between the white blocks and not coming into contact with any of the edges of the screen, at which point your game was over. Because the white blocks were randomly scattered, some play areas were inevitably more conducive to long play periods than others, and the absolute best configuration (which came along once in a blue moon) was two reasonably tall vertical pillars of white blocks, into which you could pilot your white line and bounce back and forth for whole minutes before you misjudged the thrust and careened either out of the top or the bottom and died. It was insanely addictive. We used to play it for hours, just moving that white line, and when I left my friend's house and walked home in the rain I felt ... sullied. But I digress. I have one big clue -- in addition to the above -- which is that I believe the game's title was REBOUND. However, I have searched high and low and have not come across even so much as a reference to this game anywhere in the vastness of the internet. Does anyone even remember playing this game? Please help!

Hi,

I used to play this game that was a 2D scroller I think I'm pretty sure it had "little" in the title. You could choose different characters and they'd have their own abilities. Some would throw knives and other would have dragon Ball z type powers. You would have bosses at the end of each level from memory.
I think you started out in a forest and progressed into a castle.
Some of the other abilities was lasers from hands and from eyes, there was a character who could control bats. I've been trying to remember this game for years. Please help. Thanks.

Hey,

So i remember two game i would like to find.
One was a game i used to play in preschool in a haunted mansion where you would have to solve some basic math problems (like 7-4) to go to another room and level. I can't find the name of it
The other game was a game where you entered a castle after they open the drawbridge and you would go around the castle as see the dungeons, the kitchen, the tower, play some games like one where you have to find paths to go to the end and if you choose one wrong you have to start from the beginning.
