Sadly no, I remembered an additional fact.. it was a 2d environment similar to that with more realistic graphics and natural physics. it also looked way better. it was for the pc for sure.

That was probably either LEGO Stunt Rally or Island Xtreme Stunts. If not, here's a big list of LEGO games.

First of all, thanks for your reply!

Unfortunately that game seems to not be listed there, I think its because that game was in a cereal box back in the day.
For example: "LEGO Sports 2003" was also in a cereal box and that game isn't listed there either. That game was hard to find. :D

maybe some germans that remember my game? :(

cheers slicky

I'm looking for an older game, possibly a PS2 or Dreamcast title where there's a camera setup similar to that of FF7, there's a group of characters that are all wearing bug/dragon themed armor and are running through a forested area.
The leader, I presume, was wearing this vibrant green armor. From what I remember, the armor was pretty shiny and the visuals were really nice.
It was a 3D RPG...that's all I really remember.

EDIT: There's a possibility of it being Legend of Dragoon, but I have my doubts.
I remember the characters all traveling together through the forested area mentioned earlier...it could have been from a cutscene.

Hi Guys,

So I remember Playing this game back in some what 2004-2008 but it was cheap at the Time i bought it so i figure it was a bit older

I only remember few things, but one can hope ^^

-Was on PC (Windows XP ran it )
-Was a First-Person-Shooter
-You could finish it somewhat quickly i guess ( at least young me could back then :p )
- And the last level objective was to either start or stop a rocket Launch

Thats all i could remember! Hopefully someone can help a poor man who cant remember the Name for the hell of it ^^

It was an old pc game, must be at least 15 years old now
It was a general platform game with two hunchbacked troll/ogres, one green, one blue
When you jumped you hit the floor above you, damaging the monster and killing by walking over it, there were also boss levels
It is a bit of a rip off of Mario, it even had a 'POW' but in this it was called 'TNT'
I 'think' the name was 'head' related e.g. headbut or headach but i could be wrong
Please help
Cheers

You guys are doing some holy work here. I tried to make an account just for this thread. Then found out I already had an account from way long ago, back when Unskippable was still... You know what? Doesn't matter.

Anyway, here's a tough one. I remember a game on, I believe it was the original PlayStation, that I haven't had the chance to play in probably over 15 years, ever since I was maybe 5, 6 years old. It was this kinda anime-ish, sidescroller, shoot-em-up game, kinda like Mega-Man X, where you play as a little girl who can jump... Probably about 10 times her height.

It might've been a Japanese game, I feel like I distinctly remember not understanding a single word anyone was saying. Anyway, all the details I've mentioned are kinda fuzzy at best, hell, she might've just been able to fly in short burst like Tails from the Sonic series... But there's two scenes I remember vividly.

At the beginning of the game, you're kinda locked in this small area almost the size of the screen (the theme "destroyed highway" comes to mind, broken concrete everywhere), and the way out was a small hole on the right that you had to crouch to get through. I remember this hole because it took me WAY too long to figure out I could crouch (I was young and didn't know how to video games, give me a break), and I was stuck on this part for a long time since I couldn't go anywhere else.

The second scene I remember, there was this boss fight where I was on top of a limousine as it tore down the street. The screen was covered in bullets (or maybe I just remember there being a lot because I sucked and died there a lot), and the big guy shooting them was floating around the screen making himself all hard to hit.

I know this isn't a lot of detail, but it's all I can remember. I got to play it as a video store rental over the weekend, and I never saw it again. Please, if anyone can help in the slightest, you'd be bringing little kid me back to one of those few 'games that got away' kinda moments.

Andreas Yeah:
Hi guys!

this one i tough, i don't remember the name of a PC game i was playing when i was a kid.
Around 1994-1996, its kinda look like "Crusader: No Remorse", so a isometric shooter, cooperation 2 player was possible (i played it with my brothers)
ambient is futuristic and the whole world is ruled by robot-looking womens.
One of the player (also robot-looking) is white the other is orange red.

please help me!

Thanks
Andreas

what i exactly mean is that more than robot looking, the characters in this game has a kind of robot suit, the enemies once shot falls on the ground losing its helmets and there you can recognize that they are females. Its definitely look like "Crusader: No Remorse" but the characters are smaller seeing from an isometric aerial view. I also remember some details in the ambience...a futuristic city and you walk into buildings full of technologic stuff, and people on computers.

PLEASE HELP ME! ;)

It's this old business tycoon from the 90s where you started in the early 1900s (maybe the 20s?) and had to fill a town's street with shops (restaurant, jewelry, shopping mall, etc), except in other streets some shops would perform better than others (jewelry sold more in rich neighborhoods, per example). Over time you'd advance in years (60s, 70s, 80s up to I think "futuristic" 2000s) and as you did, you'd unlock new kinds of shops, upgrades for 'em, some shops would lose popularity and you could even spread your empire to other streets of town. It had a pretty good depth for such an old game, and I'd like to play it again sometimes.

Pretty sure that's Bonkheads.

Hello everyone! Really need help with finding a game, I'm pretty sure it was on PSone and I was playing it in 2000s. The game is 2D cartoon style and is a bit like visual novel with the main character being a dude with long hair trying to escape from the monsters in the mansion. The only way to control the character is by repeatedly pressing a button. I also remember there was a short monster person with a hook hand. please please help. Thanks!

Well heres a challenge for yall, I been thinking of this fairly old game (probably atleast 10 years) it was playable on the browser, and I believe it was turn & tile based as well as online, the main thing I remember about it is that it had a TON of factions, I created dozens of accounts because every time you made a new account you got a different race/faction...there was probably a way to change the faction without making a new account but I was too young to know how. There was a treant facion and a werewolf faction if I recall, and many more. but sadly this is all I can recall about the game but I had so much fun on it as a kid getting my butt kicked by other players.

Hi just joined this forum.

I'm looking for a PC game, I think it's about a girl that trains to be a dark wizard. If I remember correctly she wears a purple dress and has orange hair i think. then i remember also that when this steps into light she killed instantly. Hope I get some answers hehe

I Remember playing a game but can not remember the name of it for the life of me and not many people even know what its is. Could you help me out. It was for the pc not sure about the year but early 2000s or late 90s

You started out the game as a Guard for the royal family when you get attacked by assasins to take the families life you end up saving them but getting poisoned by this toxin that eventually turns you into a demon AKA Game over. you spend the whole game trying to find a cure and keep the poison at bay. The game had a lot of puzzles and action but the action was limited because it added to your possibility of shifting and loosing the game. I know its a vague description but that's all I remember. I want to beat it now that I am older but I remember being so pissed off as a kid because I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do

Hi everyone,
I got two obscure arcades from the mid 80s. Don't know if they are emulated or have been completely forgotten, but several web searches gave no result so far.You people are my last resort on this.

1.Japanese side-scrolling action. You're a samurai on a quest to rescue a girl. You start barehanded, killing enemies yields yellow kanjis floating to the sky. If you get them before they get too high, you get a knife, then a sword, then possibly a potion allowing your sword to fire energy waves for time. The first level is a big house with several floors. The game has humorous elements here and there, e.g. you can peep a woman having a bath halfway through the first level. The first boss is on the roof and when you beat it, you jump on the back of a floating turtle. It then takes you into space, where it turns into a robot bersion of itself and the second level works as a sidescrolling shooter. The final level is also like this and you have to kill a dragon holding the girl in its claws.

2. A vertical scrolling maze crawler. Your character is a man in a sort of spacesuit and must cross levels finding finding the way to the exit and the key to it while avoiding monsters. Can't remember whether you can shoot. The exit is downwards: it is the only case of a vertical scrolling game gong down and not up. Among the monsters I recall a grey pacman-like creature with huge teeth. When you find the key, the game writes "gate open". The dominant colors, at least in the first level, are magenta and gray.

Thanks for any suggestion.

Except for the magenta-and-gray first level, that sounds like Baraduke (sometimes called "Alien Sector"). =)

There was a game where you controlled a set amount of ghosts and haunted areas/buildings to attempt to complete objectives and scare everyone out the area/building. I have no idea when it was made other than the factor that the game came on a CD and was 3D played on the PC. Before you say it, I am not trying to mention 'Haunt the House', though it is likely older than that game.

Thank you for any findings you may come across.

You're right! I just recognised the box dropped by the monsters in the first minute of that video! Amazing, you pinned it down so easily. Thanks! :) I have memories of a completely different palette but it's definetly the same game. Maybe the machine I played on in that bar had badly bakanced colors... or maybe I'm just wrong, I was a little brat back then... thanks again!

There is a post from 2013 of someone asking about a similar game:

makerofmyfate:
Hi,

First, thank you very much for the reply! Unfortunately it is not Soul Reaver, I am almost sure it's a pc game. Also, the main character is a city guard or something, which is poisoned during an attack to the city. After that he has this disease that will transform him into a monster eventually. He has to find a cure while at the same time fight someone who is trying to take over the city.

Thanks again though for trying!!! Anyone else has any idea what game I talking about??

Is that the same game? Someone suggested Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver.

Hi, everyone. I played this one game in the 90s that I *think* was a Windows game. It was a 3rd person shooter/platformer where you didn't so much run as had your feet encased in something(?) and just jumped around. I remember the first area was some sort of carnival and the boss was a clown named Dopey. I also have some kind of weird memory of the first episode being called Breakfast of Champions or something like that. Google has failed me in finding this one.

Oh, is that Dark Earth?

Hi,

I remember playing a game on PC in the 90's that scared the shit out of me as a kid, but I can't remember much from it, only the beginning.

It started as a fairly straightforward space shooter. You flew a yellow craft through asteroids until you reached your destination.
Then the game switched to a first person point and click game with prerendered cutscenes in between. It might have been FMV-ish, or just really realistic. I can't remember at this point. The level started with your character stepping through an alien door that looked like being swallowed by pac-man.
Soon you reached a fork in the road. Going left continued the game, going right showed a scene of your astronaut/space trooper character looking around while an alien spider like thing was slowly descending. Then you went to first person again and continued through the increasingly narrowing hallway. Eventually your character is crawling until he/she is suddenly jerked backwards as something is dragging it back (all this in first person). You then got a game over.
Going left brought you to some kind of pool. Continuing on this path you saw a snake/serpent type alien rising from the pool and attacking you. This was usually the point where I turned the game off.

I got this game on a cd with all kinds of demo and beta games, so this might be a bit off from the final version (if there ever was one). If anyone could point me to what this game might have been it would be very much appreciated.

FliperSnajper:
I remember playing a game when I was younger and still lived in Poland where in the intro or something a woman threw a stick of dynamite out of a hot air balloon. I also know that it's some kind of puzzle or mystery game.

I also remember that there was some kind of mission where you had to get a certain code, I'm not sure why but I remember it having something to do with an oven in some kitchen.

I can't remember much details about this game, it was demo for ps1 or ps2. The main character was a young male and he had a female best friend (or similar relationship). I think it was set maybe in the medieval era but definitely not modern times. I want to say the main character suffered amnesia and possibly his female friend took him in. Or maybe he was shunned by the town and the female took him in. Something along the line. Not sure what genre it'd be considered, maybe adventure or rpg. The art reminded me of a cross between the GameBoy Pok?mon and the DS FinalFantasy. I can't remember much of gameplay but that the main gate was locked and I think there was a dock or cave down at the beach that was locked in the demo. I do remember he had to rescue his female friend, she was kidnapped.

I have this game in mind and can't seem to find anything about it.

I have played it around 8 years ago and remember that the cover art for the video game case had a guy with white/blonde hair standing with a gun of sorts "might have been a minigun". I remember that the first level began with you entering a damaged hospital that has been blown up. It looks like a research facility where you can see rats being cut open and you can look through in the microscopes. The enemies in that game wear hazmat suits and do not have visible facial features I think. There is also a woman with you keeping close contact in the research facility.

That's all I can really remember. Would be grateful if anyone finds this as it has been bugging me for ages.

Thank God for this forum! Need help to identify these two PC games, it's been driving me nuts for some time now.

1. PC DOS game, circa late 80s or early 90s. EGA Graphics. It's a shooter game where you play as a tank commander or a turret commander and you're shooting at the screen using a movable crosshair (like Operation Wolf only the screen doesn't move, it's static background scenery). Your targets are waves of tanks and trucks and jets. Your main weapon is a machine gun (I think shift key was the fire button) and you can also fire missiles at the jets. You use the keypad to move the crosshairs and I think a lock-on square targeting reticle appears around the enemy jets. I recall the graphics were fairly crisp for that era (sprites). The game has no plot, just shooting at waves of enemies until your tank or turret is damaged and eventually destroyed.

2. PC DOS game, circa early to mid 1990s. Bitmap graphics. It's a tactical map game with first person shooter elements. You control a squad of different vehicles such as Hind helicopters, APCs, BTRs or BMPs and can even go on foot. You can switch from map view to first person view with heavily pixelated graphics. (Not 3D polygons). The vehicles you can capture and control are a mix of Soviet and US military vehicles. I remember in one mission you had to clear a minefield and I always failed until I found out I had to enter FPS view using a BMP vehicle to shoot and blow up the mines. The game objective was to capture map locations and strong points as well as the vehicles you use. I think the first or main mission was in a snowy area. The graphics weren't that great, heavily pixelated sprites, but it was kinda fun. I don't think it sold well and is probably obscure.

That's all I can remember. Thanks in anticipation for your help!

Necromander:
I'm looking for an old game not sure if someone else has asked about it or not with over 500 pages. But it was on PC it was a simple game back then and small today would be phone size I'm sure. But you owner a ship and you sailed from Port to Port buying as cheap as you could selling as high and prices changed depending on the city and as time passed however you also had to keep cannons on ship to fight off bandits and upgrade your ship size and more cannons ect. Will the cannons take up a large chunk of storage space not counting the price to fix your ship every time you got into combat but it was also fun I can't remember the name of it for the life of me I just remember playing it on Windows XP

Port Royale?

Addison Jackal:
I remember playing a game, olde game (maybe before 2000)

It started with the world being threatened by a comet or meteorite
The world ( I guess) sent up a team to blow it up.
When they got there the crew landed on the meteorite and they started going crazy slowly.
One of them just went silent and stared out over a valley ( I think)
It was mostly puzzles, as I dont recall any combat.
And the main character (Him?) wins in the end...
I think he has to kill everyone else first though... dont know how if no combat
If you know this please let me know!

The Dig?

lampis8202:
Hello fellas..I remember playing an old game (from a floppy disk probably) when I started using a computer where you were looking at earth from above (you were God I think) and planting trees, send lightning bolds and burn them. Please if someone remembers the title.

Sorry for possible grammar errors!

Sounds like "Populous" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Populous_(video_game)

Ok.. please end my agony.

This might be a tough one, I am almost positive this game is from the 90s, def. DOS days.

I am just gonna list the things I remember.

1. It was "3d", and was the first game I have seen like this, in terms of 3d. Everything was fuzzy, like, it was using small spheres maybe to build 3d objects. Not unlike ellipsoids, but not exactly the same?

2. I don't remember ANY story, I was totally lost in the game, and I remember badly wanting to figure out how to play it.

3. Fantasy world setting (open world too)

4. There was a map of the world, and you had multiple characters on the map, traveling. Clicking on the character would show you them in a 3d space, walking around. I believe you could control them.

5. Very medieval like, I remember there being sigils and such.

6. Going further on #4, I believe the game used frames, so the 3d view would not be the entire screen, it would be a box with the overall map, but my memory is fuzzy on this one.

That is all I really remember. At the time, I was blown away by the graphics, as I don't think I had seen a 3d game at the time, like this. I just can't remember what other games I was playing at the time, to try to narrow down a year. I just know it was pirated and put on my PC from the guy my family knew who built PCs back then. It was really complicated for me at the age I was, and I remember just getting frustrated trying to figure out what the hell I was doing. I remember there were multiple characters I could control, but there wasn't a clear goal on where they should go. I remember, if one of them died, they would stay dead till you started over.

Hopefully someone can help me here.

Thanks!

Hi Iam looking for a games it bugs me I can't remember its name, prob around 2000 to 2003, but I may be wrong, it was cartoony, and featured red tribe and blues(I think these where bad guys) you have to build huts etc and workers etc and defeat the others, I think you would pick the workers up and drop them into guys, as it got harder you went to different world country's featuring snow or sand, what I remember about the early levels is there where grey rabbits and these black and yellow snakes that you could pick up and move around if you where quick enough to catch them, you could also I think remove some of the land and also replace it, this is as much as I can remember
