Well in the real world i would think it was some deformed lunitic or some ass in a cosplay outfit trying to fuck with me. I would probably clumsily kick at him. But being in the Amnesia world where this shit is real my mind would probably crack under the pressure and i would be paralyzed.

OT: Chances are, being the pudgy teenager that I am, would probably run, screaming and crying for help, and at least try to hurt it slightly. I have pretty poor upper body strength, but if I tripped I might be able to kick it off. Not sure, as I've never had to run away from an evil abomination before.

And what kind of hall? There's a (albeit short) hall in my house that connects the door to the dining room, computer room, and leads into the family room/kitchen. Or do you mean school hall, office hall, what? Because that could also help better determine my insane plan of action.
