strange to me, since Assassin Firefly, my RPG character (the one I use most in RPG games like Mass Effect or Fallout) is usually a female =P

A Khajiit Master thief/assassin/extremely intelligent psychopath named Dar'Ra Karim (who recently contracted vampirism) who is basically the biggest the piece of shit on Tamriel
A high elf wandering warrior named Tarenen
And finally a cursed Nord blacksmith named Tobias the Bound

second dark elf(stealth/archer) named 1
third high elf(retired) named 2
and last one redgaurd named 3 (modded game run)
First char was blooming with originality

A high elf thief ranger called Da'thek. No idea why. I just liked the sound of it. :P

I called my first character a female redguard called Pooky because I never played a redguard before and could care less about the name.

My second is a murderous female Khajit called Fluffy named after my pet cat, who in real life is the kindest cat in existence. It's ironic I play her evil.

Optimus Prime. What I name my character is completely unimportant- it's not like NPCs address me by name.

I have an Imperial who specializes in one handed swords and magic that I named Trollolol he's a character that I have been using since Fallout 3 who went into New Vegas and used a time machine to get to Skyrim. Everything about him is a complete joke because I never take role playing to seriously.

I can't remember what my first Khajiit thief's name was, but Pekita Suul is my High Elf mage and I created another Khajiit thief who goes by Keis'sara Toph after the first one was deleted in an autosave mess up.

I've also had Ralstone the punching Argonian, Steals-Sweetroll the Khajiit which is my personal favourite (though that sounds like a distinctly Argonian name) and my current heavily armoured Orc Priscilla, all in Oblivion.

My first character was a Nord named Sabor in honor of my leopard gecko. Then the second character I made was an Argonian named Cojo, another leopard gecko given to me by a friend that died last year due to a prolapse.

Nord Female - Freywyn

High Elf Male - Ardimane
Orc Male - Orgmog
Orc Male - Throgamesh

I've settled on a name for my current character - a male Nord named Vjor. I seem to like that combination of letters and the sound they make.

Mage - Fus Ro Dah (it's like he's a Pokemon! ^_^)

Warrior - Dovakiin (DOVAKIIN IS THE DOVAKIIN!)

I had my orc warrior guy called Steve. It's not my name or anything, it just made me chuckle that the fate of the world lay in the hands of Steve.
The second charater I had was called Norman.

I generally choose between:

Vreal Blackburn
Vergil Myloneux

Not the most...medieval of names, but screw it, I like them. On an unrelated note, I generally play as an Imperial or a Dark Elf.
