Skyrim: Who did you marry?

 Pages 1 2 3 4 NEXT

So i'm just curious of how many people actually got married and to whom. My Argonian married Aela the huntress. Enjoy your nightmares :D

My Imperial married Ria of the Companions. It was an impulse thing.
It's still confusing to see her wandering the wastes murdering things from time to time. She said she was staying at home and opening a shop!

Ysolda, because she was both the first woman to show any interest in my scaly arse, and she wanted me to give her a bone.

You can marry people????

Lydia. After traveling to the ends of Skyrim with her, she was the only character I had any real attachment to, so the choice was obvious.

Nobody, because I can't find a non-assholeish female Khajiit. Aela was going to be my backup wife, but so many people have married her...

She's like the village bike, you know?

Loop Stricken:

You mean a scale, not a bone....unless she was eating you.

Man I'm awful.

I haven't gotten married yet, dunno if my character wants to. Hell, I've only seen two argonians in the game thus far other than my characters.

The first was the bitch at the East Wind Trading Company docks.

The second wants me to cause a shipwreck.

No wonder Nords are racist mother fuckers.

I dare you to say that to her face!

OT: When I decide to get married, I think I'm going to married Haelga's Neice. I mean she's had such a hard life what with he mom and dad dying and having to work for Haelga.

I'm not sure you got the joke. She wants a mammoth bone.
I gave her a mammoth bone.

Oh yeah!

This was actually my first choice. Well, I say first; the first first was Ysolda, but that was before I knew who could or couldn't be wed.
But I couldn't marry Lydia anyway, stupid bug. Besides, she ends up killing herself by standing on fiery pits of flame far too often.

On my main character, a breton mage, I married Muiri who is also a breton so I thought that was quite fitting, I also think she's the best looking female in the game.

On my stealthy cat, I married Aela the huntress cause she doesn't look too bad either.

Mjoll the Lioness! She has a very unique voice, and she has this kinda sexy Braveheart thing goin' on.

I haven't played it yet, but is it true you can marry the Vampire-Loli? Or is that just the internet getting my hopes up?

No one because even with the Amulet of Mara on no extra dialogue appears...

The only argonian wife is Shahvee on the Windhelm Docks.

She is hard to find since the docks have NO attractions. You need to already know about her or you wouldnt know she exists. Its literally an over looked section of windhelm.

You can get MARRIED!? And you can marry the hot as hell Huntress in the Champio-Fuck. Fuck, fuck, FUCK, I love Skyrim.

EDIT:

And...with a...vampire...lo...

*Goes back to playing Skyrim, because fuck the rest of existence, nothing will ever be as good as this game*

This. Minus the "scaly arse" part. But really I picked her because she's all sorts of redheaded fine.

"Let's consummate this, baby."
"It feels like all of Skyrim is watching us!"
"Oh you nasty girl."
[Week later]
"Hello my love. Back from some grand adventure I bet."
"You know it, bitch. Now give me all your money and cook me something!"

Still not got my hands on a single amulet. Even so I'll have to wait for the creation kit and put my own NPC in there to marry so my fiancé doesn't kick up a fuss! Meanwhile my Dunmer is quite happy growing old in search of immortality alone.

Haven't had time - been doing too much smithing and alchemy.

I know that such a statement is somewhat off topic, and I hate people who go on forum's specifically to post such contrary statements.

But I think it has to be said.

Why?

Because I have been looking forward to that feature FOR EFFIN EVER! I was super excited about it, but I've been so wrapped up in the nuances of everything else the game has to offer, I haven't had time to!

And that's just awesome. That the games so big, so complex, that 31 hours into it I haven't even scratched the surface on one of the most anticipated features the game has to offer.

NickCaligo42:

Aye... This scares me beyond belief actually, even without taking the f'd up gene pool of the series into account.

I hate to break it to people who were looking for a nice Khajit to marry, but as far as I'm concerned (and the Skyrim strategy guide, for that matter), you cannot marry a Khajit.

Aela the Huntress!!!

All my classes at uni were covering gender issues at the same time, all involving the liberation of women and such. I'm no sexist, but I became so tired of hearing about the subject that I picked the strongest woman I found in Skyrim, a proud werewolf huntress...and broke her out of spite. She now sits at home making me meals and calling me Dear and Love.

GENDER ISSUES

Uthgerd.

Haters gonna hate. 8)

I led her to her house and killed her in werewolf form(so i remain innocent) because i could not fucking stand her voice as she said "back form an adventure my love". Its why i am afraid to marry Aela on my stealth character in-case she goes all fem.

Hate to say it but while i love the hell out of Skyrim Bethesda dropped the ball big time when it came to marriage. Both in requirements, benefits, and after marriage behavior.

That girl who hangs out near the merchant stalls in whiterun, can't recall her name but she has a blue dress and gives you a little quest to bring her a mammoth tusk.

...Ive been married to her for over 20 hours of gameplay and don't know her name.

<---Great husband.

Edit: Guy above me called it, Ysolda. And yes I do enjoy having a free cash flow and a shop inside my house xD.

I married Camilla Valerius.

...Then I killed her in a vain attempt to hopefully be able to marry Aela. Alas, Bethesda did not have the foresight to allow the marriage quest to be repeatable. Realizing this fact certainly dampered my spirits, but then I played Skyrim some more and was happy again. Camilla's dead body sits behind some wooden boxes in my Whiterun home, where noone will ever possibly think to look, so I think I'm in the clear.

i thought about marrying her, but i see her name and think of my cousin...

OT: i haven't married anyone yet, because i just started yesterday (because a Thieves Guild quest glitched out before i could kill MF), but i plan on marrying Aela.

did you buy the special one in Riften from the priest?
normal one doesnt work.

My plan was as soon as I figured out how to get married I would marry Ralof, literally the first guy you meet in skyrim. I liked his attitude and his loyalty to his cause, even though I am starting to hate his cause...

Can you even marry him? And Could I marry him since I am an Imperial now?

Everyone I know married Aela, so I married Ysolda to be different.

Plus, her staying at home and selling stuff fits her character the best. Much better than trying to believe that Aela would do it.

I'm pretty sure you meet his wife right after you escape to town.

Damn, everyone married Ysolda. Now I feel all mainstream.

My first choice was actually Brelynda from the mages guild, but in my pretend fantasy world, I like to believe that girl would forgo marriage to continue with her education.

I was also deeply disappointed by the singular argonian female and complete lack of marriageable Khajit women. My avatar isn't nearly as much of a sexual deviant as I had originally planned.

no thats his sister, and her family. I think I remember him mentioning being too busy with the war to settle down...

Surprised no one mentioned Olfina Greymane! She is a stunning lady, I guess the option is not given to you?

Unfortunately, she isn't an option for marriage. I think Bethesda was in a trolling mood considering the amount of attractive women they have in the game that aren't available to marry.

Ysolda, but I'm going after Aela in the next game.
