How long did it take you to "finish" Skyrim?

I didn't think the main quest was very long, or difficult (300+ attack sort of made sure of that). But it actually took me 93 hours lol.

So how long did it take you to finish the main quest? Have you even done it yet?

Edit: I should clarify, not how long did that questline take you, but at what point in your playthrough did you complete it? lol

Only one character of mine finished the main quest. They were close to 40 hours at level 31 I believe. I did the companions first with that character. It was my Redguard, axe and shield, conjurer. She also refused to steal or pick any locks.

Oh yeah, and I didn't fast travel til level 21. I couldn't hold out any longer!

Did it once... but I think it took me 100 hours like you, including of course Sidequests and Dungeons.

I completed the main quest around hour 60. I finished playing at 75 hours because of technical issues.

I was able to finish the main campaign in about 50 hours, note though that this also includes a lot of time spent fapping about and doing other quests as well.

100 hours - I was trying to pump my character.

Level 60... and not even done the first part of the main quest. As in I haven't even met the Greybeards master. Thieves guild + daedric shrines and not being able to ignore any random cave I happen across.

I'm only fourty hours in (Shut up, I've been playing Saint's Row 3) so I'll probably finish the main questline once I'm done with all of the guilds.

Just finished Mage, now working on the Comapanions. Then I'll be heading for theif.

Of course, I still have no idea where the dark brotherhood is located. *Le Sigh* Oh well, nothing a decapitation spree won't fix!

I'm 90 hours in and I have beaten the main quest and all of the guilds except for thieves guild which I am very close to finishing.

I bet I could beat the main quest line in under 5 hours from creation to finish. I know the devs can do it in under 3.

Somewhere around hour 20. I must have gotten to it quicker than most people, though once I bunkered down and really got to it the quest didn't take me long.

I haven't started the Civil War Quest, though, and considering that I accidentally deleted my main character and haven't really gotten very far with my other one, it doesn't appear as if I will anytime soon.

Hint: go in an inn and check the "rumors" option with innkeepers.

I was about level 34 when I finished. I really wanted to see how it would end. I'm level 37 now... would probably be higher if it wasn't for my limiting schedule at the moment.

EDIT: it was at around 60 hours, I believe.

I'm about 50-60 hours in. I've only done enough of the main quest to get the dragons out and about, though. I'll start the main quest soon, though.

Decapitation sprees don't work. Go to Windhelm and ask around. Eventually you'll hear about a boy (whose name escapes me) who is trying to summon the Dark Brotherhood. He'll set you on the right path.

edit

I was at about 120 hours and level 48 when I quit. I kept forgetting that you don't get XP for completing quests (I've played New Vegas too much. Wait, nevermind. You can never play too much New Vegas), so I didn't grind to increase my level any.

Oh, the main quest I finished at about hour 100. I did it in small bits all throughout my playthrough.

It's weak. Really weak. It's basically just a series a repetitive clunky battles against grunt soldiers from the other side. And not much changes when you finish it. Hell I was the Empire's champion and a Legate, yet Imperial soldiers would still say, "Halt, citizen! You are interfering with Imperial business!" whenever I'd pass them by on the road.

Sounds like something to do on a boring afternoon just to get the achievement.

I finished the main questline around hour 50 but by that point I had already started another different playthrough so...I don't know how you would define that.

You have to sleep in a bed. You'll know the right time Dohvahkiin.

"Finish Skyrim"?

lol.

I have about 130 hours across 3 characters ( one is only 6 hours in) and I'm just past the thalmor embassy, I have barely touched the civil war questline, haven't completed ANY of the guilds except the bard's guild, and I still haven't visited Markarth, Dawnstar, Falkreath, and only very briefly visited Morthal and Windhelm... Yeah...

I have no idea what I've spent 130 hours on, but it's been awesome.

I'm still playing on my one char I've had since the midnight release and still haven't finished the main quest yet.

Damn sidequests.

Oooh! A cave! I'll finish this post when

Level 31, seventy or so hours. Just saw Alduin resurrect dead dragon which I quickly sent back to Oblivion. Or hell or whatever. Still have so fucking much to do. Although the tech problems with the PS3 are starting to make me rage a bit. Particularly since I turned off auto-save for a bit, forgot to save and lost two hours of doing stuff.

Still haven't beaten the main quest-line. I'm currently restarting after spending 70+ hours playing a character I had spread entirely too thin to be actually good at anything. Going to try and be more focused this time around.

I've played 50 hours so far, have done the companions and retrieved the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller. However I expect I'll get round to doing the main quest in about 100 hours =D

Then after about a year of playing, I shall wait one more year...
THEN I shall purchase a desktop for a cheap price which can max Skyrim, utilise the fantastic mods which mod Oblivion and Morrowind into Skyrim using the new graphics and engine. then I shall replay ALL THE GAMES.

"Finish Skyrim"?

lol.

My reaction too =p

Well, I have around fifty-five hours in one character, nine in another, twelve in a third character, and another thirty-three in my first character. I haven't completed the main quest yet, but I've gotten around 70% of the trophies.

Although, come to think of it, I might have a few other characters that I've forgotten about.

You can breeze through it pretty quickly. I don't remember any long dungeons. Most of it is Meet at camp --> Recieve orders --> Meet forces --> Attack enemy fort

I haven't finished any of the quest lines, and have recently hit 150+ play hours.

Because Dammit, I want My Heavy Armored-rogue-warrior-mage to be PERFECT. Also, Bandits and Dragons like to attack me - it get's distracting after awhile.

I'm like 90 hours in and somewhere near the end, or beginning of the end. I'm looking for the (SPOILER) Elder Scroll. It kinda makes you join the guilds as you go through, and when that happens I just end up doing the Guild missions to get them over with.

Nationally recognised as 'Stormblade', the man who destroyed the Imperial occupation and conquered Solitude, and still the Imperial soldiers wandering the road look so surprised when I take offence to being referred to as 'citizen'.

got bored of it on 60h mark.

I haven't even started much on the main quests. Too distracted by the miscellaneous quests and something called real life. :(

I still haven't finished it at about 80 hours. I also haven't played the game in like a week. I've been too busy doing other stuff and playing SF4:AE. I am sort of waiting for the creation kit to come out so I can get a hardcore mod before I keep going. Otherwise I am going to end up one shotting Alduin when I get to him.

I'm far from finished, and I think I always will be.

I can't finish it, super glitch wont let me continue :(

i trapped Odahviing but he wont talk to me, he just yawns and then stares at me with his big puppy dog eyes
