So escapist what is the last game you played that didn't have any combat in it ?

Mine is Syberia . I haven't finished it yet so who knows I might still have to fight a giant robot by the end but so far it's been some of the most fun I had with a game this year.

Limbo. Wait, no, you lead people into traps.

Um...OH, Little Big Planet. I played that with a friend of mine about 2 weeks ago.

Tetris? yeah, everything else has atleast some sort of bloodshed ><

Does losing at minesweeper while waiting on a process to finish at work count as killing people?

Also, I think most of us are doing Skyrim on and off, the vast majority of the enemies in that game aren't any kind of people. So anyone who hasn't had a bandit kill task for a while probably qualifies.

The Sagara Family. Very little death in that game, that I've noticed, though occasionally massive pain is inflicted upon the worthy.

I think it's Penumbra, though you do kill a few dogs and spiders and stuff there.

I think it'd be One Chance if that doesn't count.

Haven't had anyone die on me in The Sims 3 yet.

I know what you're thinking and it's my little guilty pleasure so the hell with you!

Does it count if people die, but you aren't the one who killed them? If so, my answer is 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors. If not, I'd say Tetris.

I downloaded a free "Build your own theme-park!" kind of app from EA, and was very dissapointed. You only get the most basic rides and shops for free, everything else costs money. Would've preffered it if they just asked me to pay for it right away. So, with that in mind, I proceeded to blow up internet spaceships, probably killing around a hundred crew-members (hey, at least I didn't get popped).

Aw... crap... I killed the bosses in Deus Ex: Human Revolution....

Bar that, Portal.

Isn't that the game where you're responsible for killing all life on the planet?

For me batman arkham city was the last without killing anyone.

For one without combat this indie game called Game Biz 3

Do aliens count as people? If not, then Beyond Good and Evil HD.

Otherwise, Portal 2.

played Little Big Planet with my sister a little bit today, although I did slap her sack boy into a pit of fire material once...

Mirror's Edge.

I didn't hurt a single enemy, how the game is meant to be played.

does split/second count?

tbh! But not a single one of them was direct.

Internet spaceships are srs business (inside joke ;P)

Umm.... Probably Professor Layton. Love that game :)

Probably Portal, because GlaDos is Still Alive (Pun not intended) after you destroy her if not, Batman Arkham Asylum (Bats has a rule against killing.)

... ehm...

Holy crap, I haven't played a game like that in ages.

Oh wait! I know! Wordfeud!

Gonna count Deus Ex HR even though bosses are automatically killed. Too bad.

there's Portal 1/2, Little Big Planet, and from years ago Harvest Moon 64

Tetris, which was also the last game I played period. Only game I have on my phone.

Pokemon White. No killing, just what the game calls "fainting", at which point you bring your Pokemon to the nearest PokeCenter to be defibrillator'd by Nurse Joy. Or something.

Not quite sure how they revive them to be honest. Magic, I bet.

No *killing*, Arkham City.

No *combat*, Portal 2.

Pokemon: Heart Gold, fainting. Some read that as censored dying in which case Sonic Generations. If robots dying count then Sims 3, which was very long ago.

forza motorsport 4, pretty sure there's no blood in that..........

Uplink.

Because I'm so nerdy I like playing a game that only nerds could enjoy.

I'm not even sure it should be called a game, more a dramatised nerd simulator.

Other than the occasional game of solitare or minesweeper while waiting for the computer to finish thinking about some other task - Gran Turismo 2. I can't remember playing any games that didn't involve killing stuff since GT2 came out.

I'd say either The Sims or Roller Coaster Tycoon. The only problem is I have a fixation with building death traps in both of these games.

Viva Piñata.... What?! You said people!

Probably To The Moon - which, if you haven't played it, you really need to. An indie game that's styled as a JRPG only it plays more like an old school adventure game. It's brilliantly written, wonderfully composed, and has 4 more parts coming which I absolutely cannot wait for. It's also the first game to ever get me emotionally choked up, although I didn't actually cry. I'm hoping the second one manages that feat.

Forza 4. Can't get much further away from killing people unless you buy Kinectimals.

I think it might have been forza 3. I usually check back once in a while to see the car art.

Probably Katamari Damacy.
