Who are you exactly?
My name is Ryan, but you can simply call me Caramel Frappe. I'm a big time Escapist user who mostly spends a lot of time observing threads or drawing pictures, if not making custom GIFs. Oh and recently I fell in love with Katawa Shoujo.

Is this your first doing a Let's Play ever?
Yes, though it's my first time ever doing one... I got motivated to do this by a friend of mine. His name is CM156 and he is focusing on a Let's Play called Let's Play: Pokemon FireRed. Check it out, the guy is great and very humorous!

Is this Let's Play a screenshot thread or video thread?
It's a screenshot thread, where the images shall be in a spoiler bar with pictures flowing down. After certain screenshot images, there will be a joke or comment that I make about it. Heck, I will even make custom images just to add up the humor since I am good at editing... stuff!

Will this be a funny Let's Play or a serious one?
For the most part, it shall actually be a funny Let's Play. At times, according to the scene.. it will be a serious one with maybe an opinion added with criticism. But overall it's all in good fun and laughs.

How often will you update?
At least once a day, or more if I can. Not only does this game have a ton of screen time with characters here and there, but I am a student at College, who has a massive amount of homework to complete on time. I'll PM each person who checks in about an update, so that you can just comment whenever you'd like with no rushing intended.

Shall there be sex scenes involved?
No. I'll be sure to add humor and joke about the sex, but never will I post an actual sex scene screenshot because it's not only against The Escapist's rules, but also I am not a fan of the sex scenes myself. However there shall be sex jokes and a note saying that a sex scene happened so you won't miss much.

How much will you be covering Katawa Shoujo?
All of it. Each arc, each path taken and even the bad endings I shall cover. Every part of the game will be reviewed (well, shown with jokes along it but you get what I mean.) Don't worry, each arc will be finished with a good ending when I am about to move onto the next arc. Eventually we'll reach Kenji's arc as the last one... but for now we'll focus on how the game starts out.

Will the viewers have any say about which path to take?
Yes, the viewers can express their opinion on which response I should go with first. Even though I am going to cover this entire game, the viewers are more important then anything else including how each arc will end with a happy ending.

Got to improve on the humor!
Since this is my first Let's Play... if you find the humor dull or the images not being funny enough- just let me know. I will improve including to change my style if the posts are to long with screen shots or not covering enough. Goes ether way.

Who's your favorite character in Katawa Shoujo?
Hands down it's Hanako. She is my favorite character if not all time favorite out of any Anime show or game i've ever seen (wow, that's something!) Yet the funny thing is that I shall not review her first. I'll be going by the arcs that are chosen by the fans, which I am confident to make great timed jokes. Just to give you guys a heads up, I will mostly likely due to the fans begin Lilly's arc first. She seems to always get picked first by accident from most of the players or fans.

Within each post, I will notify you guys if the spoiler containing the screenshot pictures has a major spoiler. Every post however does have minor spoilers no matter what so it's best to play the arcs or follow through this Let's Play series. I'll do my best. This is my first LP ever, and the fact it's a visual novel doesn't make it any easier but I shall make sure it's entertaining, fun, and makes you guys giggle like little girls laugh. That, and since I can edit very well and crate images- it's all the better for you guys to actually picture the sarcasm and humor that flows through each update. Otherwise feel free to get on me or ask questions about a current update of your choosing!

So are you going to take a screenshot of the start of a conversation and then write the proceeding dialogue yourself? Or is this LP going to have a lot of images?

It's going to have a screenshot of every conversation engaged within an arc but not all of it- only parts I find important or ones I can easily make fun of into a joke. Under particular screenshots, I shall state an opinion or joke with a followed up hilarious picture and some will even be custom made (as in I did them, to suit the joke. Those moments will be everyone's favorite.)

However if you dislike certain ways I do things or find the humor needing some help, please feel free to notify me. It's my first LP and I want to make it as enjoyable as possible for you guys :}

Mainly if you're going to cover every part, I.E. all the endings, CGs etc.

Yeah covering everything in the game (it's not that long, every arc is about 4-6 hours long depending on how fast you read. Making a LP about it shall shorten the time on that so yeah.) Endings especially, can't have a good arc without the endings! (Well, we're going to have bad and good endings but the final ending will be the good ending of that arc if you know what I mean.)

Damn, I really don't care for High School dramas but people keep talking about this game, it must be good, I'm getting curious, since I like you Mr. Caramel Frappe, I'll just see your let's play and if I find the story interesting I'll download it, though I still have a problem with the sex scenes since I don't really care about sex and it does make me feel rather uncomfortable, which is actually the main reason I'm on the fence about this, so I would like it if someone answered this questions, Just how strong are the sex scenes? and Is it possible to go through the game without triggering a sex scene? Since if that's possible I would most likely do that.

You can turn the adult scenes off in the options menu, and the story won't suffer from their absence.

Yeah I know what you mean, I too didn't want to play it since I'm not great with seeing sex on screen.

But I gave it a shot and it wasn't bad, it's not vulgar and doesn't show much really.

And if it's worth anything, this was my first visual novel and I don't regret playing it at all

But that's what I wanted to know, I can handle sex scenes as long as they are not terribly vulgar, so it's like a movie when there's a romantic scene, and there's sex and you see it but it's not gross and filled with all the goop and gross stuff, because if it's like that I won't have any problem at all.
Though if there is an arc in which you end up alone, I'll probably take it since that's how I roll, besides I always like getting the bad ending first (actually I normally like the bad endings better than the good ending, I don't know why but I enjoy seeing the main character getting screwed in the end even if I like him).
Also thanks for the info, I already know where to download the game BTW, since there are links for it all over this site.

And nope the sex isn't nasty like that, just like a movie where they're on top of each other and shows breasts....that's about it really.

Oh, well then I'm not going to have problems with the game, I just wanted to know because when I first heard about it, it was described as a porno game so I thought it was quite vulgar, but it's nice to know it's perfectly normal, and yeah I'm probably going to do that forever alone arc first, but if I do like it as much as you guys I'm probably going to go see the other scenarios after that.
