So today, I have finally reached 1000 hours played in Team Fortress 2. Thats the second longest time ive spent on one game. First being World Of Warcraft with about 3000+ hours. Just out of curiousity and discussion value; Whats the longest time you spent on one game? And do you think because of that amount of time certain people will "look down" on you and make fun of you for that? Happened to me before, and still is, because of the amount of hours I spent on Wow.

122 hours on FFX. I could one-shot anything in the game by the end of it. About the only thing I didn't do was get Lulu and Kimahri their ultimate weapons, because butterfly catching was annoying and dodging lightning was tedious.

I look down on myself for the ridiculous amount of time I put into Too Human.

Think the longest on one game was probably Modern Warfare 2 as I was bordering on 25 days playtime which would mean about 600 hours. As a series though it would have to be Pokemon. I don't even want to think about the total amount of hours I've put into that series. Also my friends don't particularly look down on me for putting that amount of time into it because they are exactly the same when it comes to games.

OT: most consecutive that i KNOW had a counter on it, was battlefront II, that star wars game...had me by the frickin balls. i put at least 500+ hours into it, and by the time i was "done" playing it at the time, i could single handedly destroy battles with a 75/2 KD ratio, on elite mode.

Still remember the time i won the battle on coruscant with darth maul with only 9 kills, i capped their respawn point in the first 20 seconds of the match. they had 130 guys left with nowhere to spawn loll

Sad thing is, yes I did. Played, some Team Fortess 2, and Killing Floor, along with some Ps3 games. Yeah I had a lot of free time on my hands lol. Also nice! I love Battlefront 2, one of my favourite Star Wars games, other being Jedi-Outcast 2.

Well, according to Steam's notoriously unreliable figures I've clocked up about 160 hours on each of Bad Company 2, Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead. Also, I've played Mass Effect 2 six times, which would come to about 180-240 hours.

Yes, of course folks are going to look down on people who spend thousands of hours sitting in front of a screen playing video games. All the more so if you're an adult.

Well, I spent so long on Pokémon Red that the timer broke at 255 hours.
Skyrim's currently at 237, and TF2 is at 298, though I do idle for my drops now and then.
Can't be arsed working out how long I've spent on WoW, but I've been subscribed since it was released, and I have many characters.

Couldn't be sure. There was a span of about two months where I spent probably 5 hours (on average) a day on Halo 2 when it first came out. so that'd be at least 300 hours. I've beaten FFX about 5 times. with about 40 hours each that's about 200 hours. And I've probably spend 2 or 3 times that much on those wretched pokemon games.

Most time I've spent gaming is probably the hours I have spread across all files I've ever had in all Pokemon games.

I have no idea how long it actually is though.

1000 hours though, that's about 42 days, which is about a month and a half.

Your average person spends more time than that sitting on the crapper. Which is why I always insist that I'm actually doing something while on the crapper. Otherwise it's just time you're not getting back lol

105 hours on Skyrim. Mine sounds pretty lame compared to other peoples. I think I have spent about a total of 80 hours on BF:BC2 and BF3. I have spent 100 hours on Fallout 3 and New Vegas combined. Still not very impressive.

even on fallout new Vegas I put about 96 hours or so...which isnt much compared to others here..and I was stretching that out too

I believe I'm somewhere between two and four hundred hours in FFXII... and I STILL have yet to kill Yizmat.

Well, since MMOs count (since you mentioned WoW)...

3500+ hours on my main Guild Wars account.

I have never sunk that much time into any game. Ever.

Though added up I'm sure I've far surpassed it, though.

Eh, I never counted how much I put into Morrowind, Skyrim, or Jedi Academy(multiplayer) in particular. I do know that I put 150+ hours into the Binding of Isaac, Steam made sure to take note of that for me...

I have over 1000 hours in TF2. Also
I have over 1000 hours in ZPS.

I'm pretty sure I might have done it with some non steam games too but I'll never know for sure.

The only time I got over 1000 hours is when I forgot to turn the power off on my PS2. I play a lot of games for around 100 hours, but I don't have that many where I spend much more than that. The most I've played a game would probably be the 300 hours in Pokemon SoulSilver or Okami, with the aforementioned 1000 hours. Though only around 200 or 300 was me actually playing it. Even though I played it for that long I still haven't gotten all the stray beads >.< I only have around 10 left to get but I decided to play other games and haven't gotten back to that one.

hah can't blame you, if you've got downtime (like i have had plenty of chunks of my life) then no use doing something other than what you love to do. I tried really hard to get into outcast 2 but i played academy first...and it really ruined any fun i could have with outcast :(

also, another game that didn't have a time counter but would easily rack up 7-800 hours, would be socom 1 and 2 online, i played it for 2 hours EVERY morning before school (i was one of those freaks of nature that survived on no more than 5-6 hours of sleep each night) and at least 2 hours most nights of the week for easily a year, so if you add up all that time (4 hours a day, times 4-5ish days a week, times 52 weeks in a year...thats guesstimated at around 1000 hours...) so yeah, that game was easily up there also, i loved the strategy/tactics in that game to bits.

Yes, I know. Two years. When I said obsessively...I meant it. I would take a screencap, but since I'm not a member anymore I can't access the record of how long my character has spent ingame.

However, as that game is the very definition of mindless grindfest, most of that time was spent while simultaneously studying/doing homework, or reading. It's still ridiculous though, I know.

I was in a Dota clan and dang I put down more timeon that than some of my WoW friends on WoW.

actually the most i've ever played a game is the one i'm still playing daily: skyrim! i'm at 150 hours right now.

I'm pretty certain I've played through Paper Mario no less than five times, so that one is pretty high up there. I played a lot of whatever shooter's I owned at the moment when I was younger, so a couple James Bond games and Halo 2 are pretty far up there as well. Beating Fire Emblem POR a few times probably puts it up pretty high on my list too.

I clocked over 2000 hours on Halo 3. For several months that game was all that i would play.

And i loved every fucking minute of it.

300 hours or so on Pokemon Red.

Next closest is like 250 on Guild Wars.

Then like 150 on each Total War, GTA and Elder Scrolls game.

It got to the point where I was afraid to type "/played" on my main WoW toon. It was a fucking large number... that's all I can say.

Fallout 3 or New Vegas, probably more into New Vegas though, I don't have an exact count but it was probably around 120 hours, it is kinda crazy but it's just free time, other people fuck around with Facebook while I fuck around with super mutants.

My World of Warcraft play-time exceeded a year, and that's pretty much all I remember about it. 8800+ hours.

A few years ago I clocked 165 days played in WoW on the characters I hadn't deleted. I gotta be well over 200 days these days. So much time wasted...
As for single player games I think Final Fantasy VIII is my record holder. Don't have any exact numbers, but I've played the game over and over so damn many times.

Well just over 100 hours on Fallout 3 and its extra content. I think I had about 60 hours in DA:O, not very impressive I know but it surprised me. I'd have to check my TF2... Steam lies I've played more than 60 hours of TF2 and Gmod.
