| So yeah here's a list of games that in my eyes need to be released but god I am starting to think they will never see the light day. No matter how much the fans complain or wave money in the faces of developers and/or publishers.
The rest of the mother series: it confuses me why Nintendo wnt release the rest of the series since Earthbound was a Big Hit in The N.A but no. so yeah get use to just play fan-patch cause apparently earthbound didn't make it into what I like the call the endless repeating cycle of games developed and/or published by Nintendo (IE Mario, Zelda, Pok'emon etc).

Jet Set radio sequel: yeah dnt hold your breath on this one the developers that made this game apparently were bought out or merged with Sega to make one of the best game series ever....Mario and sonic at the Olympics Games....yeah. but in all serious they could at least bring the game XBLA or something cause backward compatibility on the 360 is about as reliably As Balloon backing U up in Slap Fight.
Update: after years of waiting Sega is finally releasing Either Jet set radio future or Jet grind radio for the PSN and Xbox live
Blood Rayne 3: yeah bck when Vampires were still bad ass before twilight fked everything up. This game may had had its issues but it was a solid Gothic vampire Story and good game play. It also ended on one of the most anticipating cliff hangers ever having ready to go out and buy the blood Rayne 3 only to realize that it may never see the light of day since after blood Rayne developer seem to be focused now on developing star wars.....KINECT!!!.

Any Square soft/Enix +: you know these games. Every time they release a final fantasy or kingdom hearts they for some reason always make a better version of the game and keep it to them selves. At first I understood this bck then since they would have had to make an entirely new game disc and box but now that we have DLC now it just makes look greedy.
Update: with the re- release of FFX and FFX-2 for the ps3 there is now no possible reason for square einx not to package the games with the + and international updates for the NA audience.
Psychonauts 2: yeah there busy making...Sesame street game for kinect. So yeah that does not fill me with hope.
Update: after the the whole kick starter event with double fine in which they raised way over a million dollor bumps up the chances of a psychonaut sequel in the future.
Note: the game that was funded by kick start is un likely to be psychonauts
KOTOR 3: this will never see the light of day as most people tell me. Since bio ware is about to finish up the mass effect series you think they will lots of time and resources to make kotor 3. But apparently the Old Republic mmo will take up most of there resources and the little resources they do have into making Dragon age 3 because all of you wanted it so much. And yes I want Bioware to make it cause we saw what happened when another company try to make a sequel. But don't worry I hear now that they are going to give us the Dramatic final story of Raevan in the form of a novel......I am sorry I am confused is this Cop-out or lack luster I don't know which one to use aside from incredible disappointment.

Precisely. Plus, it's absolutely no secret that the kickstarter would be a new game that is not Psychonauts 2.
OT: A new Legacy of Kain game. The last one came out in 2004. There was another game planned and started on but Eidos pulled the plug on it. So, now, every now and again Crystal Dynamics tell us "We would love to make another LoK game." and that's it. It's been seven years with no hint and no real hope for of a sequel. The fact that two key people associated with the games are no longer there doesn't help: Amy Henning (the writer) left to create Uncharted, while Tony Jay (voice of the Elder God) passed away 5-6 years ago. Right now, the highest chance of something happening with the franchise is a reboot...sadly. That is, of course, if anything happens at all. |

Just going to jump in here real quick. The writing of KOTOR2 is better than the first KOTOR in pretty much every way. Additionally they tweaked the combat to make it so much more interesting. The reason it turned out so average was because LucasArts slashed Obsidian's allocated development time by like a year, so it was a huge rush job, and with that restore content or whatever mod it does turn out to be pretty great.
Bottom line - Obsidian could have been trusted with the sequel if they'd been given an appropriate amount of time to finish it. |

Well the announcement that came along that fateful day on the Capcom-Unity blog certainly made it sound like the whole thing was canned.
OT: Speaking of Capcom, if they got it in thier heads that portable consoles were always going to be the inferior market in the West, maybe they could develop and release a Monster Hunter on PS3 or 360.
I know we have MHTri on the Wii, but theres many things that were soiled by the 3rd generation rebooting and the fact that the (hardcore) market the game catered to simply did not have or want to have a Wii. |
