I voted Lilly, but I haven't played it in a while (been busy with other VN's) and if I played through it again I might come out with a different opinion. I think it mostly has to do with her opinions on blindness and some of her quotes which made me stop and think for a bit. | |

Emi 1) The fact that she runs with prosthetic legs, inspired me to start running myself. I've kept at it 3 days a week for at least a month now, which is longer than I've ever been able to keep an exercise regimen. 2) Someone like her would bring out a better, more social side of me. 3) Though we've arrived to it on different paths, we both acknowledge that our futures may be very short, and have kept certain people at arm's length because of it. The person originally writing her arc left partway through the project and the author who took it over hated her. Thus her arc is... less than consistent. | |
I've noticed in every dating sim type game (I know KS isn't really a dating sim) There are always two girls. There's the girl that before I start playing and I just go "Hurr hurr, she's HAWT. I'm totally going after her." I do this with any game where I have to pitch woo, whether it's Harvest Moon, Katawa Shoujo or even the Persona series. In this games case, that was Shizune. Then there's the girl that I meet once I start playing. The one I actually really like, the one I want to pursue and the one that I find I would actually want to be with if this was a real person. To sound like one of those creepy "waifu" guys (ugh, I hate that word...) the one that I love. And that would be Rin. I always enjoyed her arc, her conversations, everything about her. | |
As a character, I like Shizune the best. Her arc sucked though. Lily's arc was the best, but I didn't like her character. Hanako was the happy medium between the two. Geez this question is hard to answer. | |
Lilly is my favorite girl. Hanako is a close second. I wonder if something as small as that would give me a warning for low content. Well, probably not now, with this couple of sentences. But this low content crap is kind of annoying. It makes my posts feel FORCED because I don't particularly care to make more of an answer than what the answer actually is. | |
Emi. I found her the most cute and very inspirational, and her personality is just priceless, I liked it how it made Hisao care for himself. Also, who is looking forward to the DLC expansion. (With new characters/Choices) | |

My first was Hanako, and I liked it a lot, but personally, I think Emi was the best. Her arc, the things she dealt with, and Hisao's resolve to get to know her better really spoke to me. And now I'm playing through Shizune, and its boring as FUCK. I really want to finish it before I get ready to buy School Days HQ, but for every line of dialog, I just get bored. | |

I was tied for Emi and Rin... I ended up choosing Rin on a whim! I've only done those 2 and Shizune's stories so far though... I'm working on the others as I type though! Going for Hanako this time... Wish me luck! | |

Lilly and Hanako were tied at 11. Guess who brought Hanako's up to 12, beating Lilly's by one more vote? *smirk* OT: Hanako all the way, hands down, no second thoughts. As in, she is without a doubt my favorite anime character even outside of Katawa Shoujo (that's saying something). Puts everyone else in the game to shame.. I can't feel as sorry for them as I feel for Hanako. She isn't the cliche' shy, quiet type girl who just likes the main character and opens up just due to whatever reason. Hanako has much reason to have issues, and she acts pretty normal. She has hobbies, she acts natural around people without having some high pitch voice, and best of all.. she cherishes what she has regardless if she feels unwanted or useless (secretly so). Even when she's interested in Hisao, she has issues that comes up. She also isn't the type of girl to do favors for the guy just because- she really has a personality along with much depth to her character as we patiently explore it. The end of Hanako's arc is the most emotional part (bad or good endings, whether it'd be sadness or sheer guilt). I love her so much just for existing and how she acts kind despite how others treat her. That, and Hanako sure likes chest which is interesting to see her play as a good sport. In fact this video is really nice tribute to her.. and even if you don't admire her personality she is the cutest girl i've ever witnessed!! Oh cra- HHNNNGGGGG!! | |

This was a really close call between Emi and Shizune. In the end I went with Emi because she just had a much better story arc then Shizune did. Still picking a favorite in this game is pretty hard. | |
Hanako and Lilly are my two favorites, but between the two I would have to go with Lilly. Lilly's maturity and yet playful sense of humor really got me. Hanako strayed from the stereotypical shy girl, which was such a relief as that particular character has been done to death. Instead of just being a total poon, she had some seriously traumatic problems that shaped her psyche; much more interesting. | |
Lilly was one of the more interesting characters but i found her story-arc boring. Even in Lilly's arc Hanako grew more. For me it was a small tie between Emi and Hanako(funny enough those are total opposites). I loved Hanako's arc the most. | |
The Lilly and Emi stories were my favorites and it seems interesting to me. In one Hisao ends the game in the worst shape of his life, in the other he's in the best. At the same time both stories seem really believable. I also thought those two story arcs had the most interesting side characters, but maybe that's just me. Even though it almost killed Hisao, in the end I still vote for Lilly. | |
Definitely Hanako, no other choice. I feel that my choosing of Tali in Mass Effect is similar... I go for that kind of girl in games. Kind of shy girl who you bring out of their shell. Also, the emotional build up to the end of her story I actually thought was pretty damn good. | |
Hanako is really surprising me. Her path was so, so dull for me, almost as shit as shizune's. Rin's path's writing was well above all the others, and Emi's was more lighthearted and enjoyable than most. Lilly's was sweet but heavily cliched. Hanako and Shizune was like, god when will it end so I can move to a new girl? | |

I say Misha because I'm stubborn like that. But seriously I ended up voting for Hanako. I really liked Shizune but yeah I felt like her arc was rather dissapointing. And I think Rin is a total boss and had a nicely done arc but I kept thinking that I would rather just be friends with her than be in a relationship with her.

Thank you for the hug bro, really. .. I had to go through her bad ending in order to get 100% on the whole game (that and tell Kenji that she wasn't cute.. *shutter*) If you feel very close to Hanako or you couldn't bear the thought of doing anything that leads to guilt- I would suggest you never try her bad ending. It'll leave you in despair, will make you regret all your choices leading to that and worst of all you'll always remember that moment... thus you'll hate yourself. No really it's a BAD ending and I mean even I can't get it out of my head but luckily I won her good ending on my first try so I don't feel- Oh god who am I kidding??? I'M SO SORRY HANAKO!! *flips out in tears* | |
