Green, Red, or Blue?

Pancho Agdeppa:
What color did you chose?

Red, because I couldn't get green, because I don't have an Xbox Gold account and bEAware appear to have lied by saying you don't need to play multiplayer to get the best endings.

Well, the "best" ending. The best colour filter.

You dont need multiplayer though, I maxed out my war assets without even touching the Multiplayer.

Anyway I chose Blue, after Legions sacrifice I absolutely couldn't choose red :(
Also I can just imagine Shepard being Harbingers hard ass boss :D

Al-Bundy-da-G:

Whitbane:
Also, I hated the Star Child
I'm sorry, EDI, but it had to be red.

So you tried to shoot him too huh?

Oh, about five minutes of time wasted trying to find a 'secret' ending. Maybe if I used my infinite ammo to waste his ass, something cool would happen.

Nothing did.

Red, because f*ck the Reapers and their troll logic.

Same here....I also ran back to the 'elevator' to see if I could go back down and activate the panel. Instead I saw some crappy textures and screen tearing.

TehCookie:
I picked red, it had a fucking dragon on the cover. A dragon is way cooler than a turtle, even if that turtle is super effective. So what does Pokemon have to do with Mass Effect?

Yeah but dragons have become generic. That turtle looked manly as all hell and he had two cannons coming out of his damn shell!

Red.
Sorry EDI. I feel bad for the geth, but those Reapers had to go!

Red. Green sounded way too dumb, and Blue was what I was against for the past two games.

After all of my hard work for my War Assets... O_O

I chose Blue btw.

I picked the

Sorry, I rambled a bit there.

I had a lime flavored ending.

Welcome to the club mate...
You're probably enraged right now as most people so let me hammer something in your mind to help you swallow it and move on as quickly as possible.
It's just a game.

Red. It took me a while to do, as I'd saved the Geth at the expense of all the Quarians, and Joker/EDI were my favourite characters... but it was also the one which had the least chance of killing my Shepard, and the one that would definitely wipe out the Reapers. I'd just had enough of the world, despite being a Paragon, and decided that if I was going to go out, as so many of my comrades had... I was going to make sure that there was no chance of the Reapers ever returning. Fitting, too, as my Shep had drifted slowly into a more Renegade character by the end.

VERY annoyed that the endings weren't any different, though. While it felt great playing it, it's just annoying to find that they're all the same.

Sp3ratus:
I went synthesis as the canon ending for my paragon Shep. I'm currently doing a playthrough of the entire series and I'm now at the third game. I'm going renegade this time though, so I think it'll be control for this Shep, as she saved the Collector Base in the second and the attitude of controlling the Reapers, instead of destroying them hasn't changed, despite Cerberus being a bit out there.

EDIT:

MiloP:
It's weird, people keep claiming that there are only three endings, but there's actually quite a bunch. Sure all of the cutscenes look the same but considering you're technically only supposed to see one that then becomes the canon ending for your particular Shepard, then it ceases to become a major problem, really.

Thank you. I've been saying that as well, but people won't admit that they are different endings.

Yes, because at the end of a movie if a character is wearing a different shirt then it automatically is a different ending, which is a great way to sum up anyone saying that they are different endings. Well in this one all the humans die tooooo, and in this one Edi doesn't get off the shiippppp, oh, and the exploision changes color but nothing ellllssseeee.

Red because tha-

Whitbane:
I picked red because it was the only option that I believed would offer a permanent solution to the Reaper threat. Also, I hated the Star Child, he can go shove it if he thinks I'm letting this shitty cycle continue.

I'm sorry, EDI, but it had to be red.

God damn ninjas, only one thing can stop them and that is love. [really clingly hug]

I chose none of them.

Stopped playing before the final mission, and I doubt I will ever touch the game again until they fix the ending.

TheCaptain:
I went green with my Paragon Shepard. Of course my first thought was red, so I could be really sure.

Blue I suspected to backfire anyway, I was kinda surprised when my Renegade Shepard did that and it kinda let to a slightly better outcome than green. Apart from all the havoc I caused before, but then, that hadn't been addressed.

well

OT: I went with the Destroy ending
I set myself out to destroy them and its what I did =P

Red.
I refuse to read this thread or the spoiler tag in the OP. You suckered me in here!

I like red.

Blue, because it seemed that Shepard's mind is preserved in the Citadel, so I like to imagine that the next order of business is making the Reapers repair the Mass Relays - cannibalizing each other for parts, if necessary - before making them all dive into the closest stars.

I choose to glitch between two invisible walls and fall off the Citadel.

Best possible ending.

Paragon Infiltrator Shepard.

Red.

My mission was to destroy the Reapers. Mission accomplished.

I played the Red version of Pokemon. I remember when I first played that game, I thought Charmeleon's name was pronounced "Char-melon"

...Oh wait we're talking about Mass Effect 3?

I chose the Destroy ending for my character. At the time I figured it was safer to kill the Reapers then risk them breaking out of my control. For my second character I chose Synthesis.

Tono Makt:
All of them. I reloaded and did each of them, since you know, as nearly a 100% Paragon Shep, I could.

It really wasn't that hard to get 100% paragon. I had 100% few missions before the Thessia mission, which is still a little ways away from the end.

Eddie the head:
Red I wasn't going to let fear compromise who I am......

This and I sacrificed so many other lives to ensure that the galaxy was safe from the reapers for ever. I sacrificed those krogan, and at the time Grunt, to save the rachni queen. Those Asari so I could get to that temple, The Fifth Fleet to save the council, hell I even planned to sacrificed ever person on that combined fleet to distract the Reapers until I could get to the citadel.
So why was sacrificing the Geth suddenly crossing the line?

See, this is exactly the kind of attitude I'm talking about. Character with a different shirt being the same as whether or not the Earth is completely destroyed or saved? How can you honestly tell me that's almost exactly the same? Something different happens, depending on what you choose to do and depending on what you've chosen to do during the game and you tell me there's not a difference? I get that people are upset over the ending and they have every right to hold that opinion, but blatanly stating things that aren't true, so that it suits their view of the ending, seems a bit weird to me.

Well, depending on your Shepard's motivations...

There can be a difference between letting people fight a seemingly hopeless battles... and just intentionally wiping them out.

Green,

SPOILERS *I don't know how to do the spoiler box thingy*

I've edited in a spoiler tag to the quoted post for you, to do them your self in the future just type {spoiler} your text goes here {/spoiler} only instead of using brackets like this { and this } use square ones instead like this one [ and this one ].

OT
Green, because i realised that i was not going to get anything remotely close to a satisfying ending and that was the one that required the least effort.

And here I was thinking this would be a reference to The Secret World. Nope, more Mass Effect. Time to go back to sleep.

Red

I came to to fuck shit up and that was the option I needed to pick to achieve that goal.

Red.

My FemShep wasn't around to metaphorically enter a state of higher existence thus merging all organic life with little nanomachines that give you green eyes and glowing skin. Nor was she there to play babysitter and tell the Reapers that they all need to play nice and share their jawbreakers. My FemShep was there to wreck Reaper shit and that's exactly what the fuck she did: wrecked Reaper shit.

I INITIALLY thought that Red was the Paragon ending, with that vision of Anderson shooting that generator thing, but apparently I was wrong... for some reason. It was difficult, because...

Green, because my mind shut down and I was just kind of doing that part of the ending on autopilot with little thought.
The beam looked so enticing...

Next time I'm going blue, because red would make me the biggest hypocrite in the world. I fought hard for peace between the Geth and the Quarians. I'm not gonna be the one pulling the trigger on that newfound relationship.

Plus, you put Starchild out of his job with every path, so does it really matter?

I went with red because that's what Shepard and Anderson were going for from the very beginning.

Green

I wanted to save the good ending (Red) for my imported character.

Stop. With. The. Mass. Effect. Three. Threads. Please.

OT: I picked red, because it's really the best. You survive with enough EMS and all the reapers and geth are destroyed. Perfect ending IMO.

I went with the synthesis ending. At the time I didn't see anything inherently wrong with merging synthetics and organics, after all, Shepherd is already basically a cyborg and it's worked pretty well so far. My only real misgiving was how in the HELL that whole thing is supposed to work "Merge synthetics and organics to create a new DNA?" how exactly does the giant green laser DO that? Also, at that level isn't organic material nearly indistinguishable from inorganic material and AAAAARRRGGGHH!!! In hindsight, a lot of people have pointed out that I'm imposing a radical change on everyone in existence against their will, which is pretty fucked up when you think about it, but honestly the thought never occurred to me, so I guess that makes me a fascist. Great, now all organic life can fuse with their cell phones.

In subsequent playthroughs, I went for red. At first I was afraid to pick that option because the line between what the magic red beam would and wouldn't kill seemed vague, and I was afraid that it might kill all the quarians who had integrated Geth programs into their suits and I didn't want to hurt Tali.
