Ok, I really wasn't sure at first what I was looking at. I just knew it was gross. So, her head has been altered beyond recognition. Well, it took me about a minute or two to realize this was a head. But, you won't have two minutes in this game, I assume. I'd say they hit the nail on the head.

Except, that I just don't find it that gross. Looks kind of like the Smoker or Boomer from Left 4 Dead in a way. Or, maybe, I'm just a lot less squeamish than most people are. That just may be, seeing as how I can't seem to get scared, anymore, as much as I can remember.

I would assume it feels through the ground, due to being so much plant. Kinda like Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

EDIT: Also, the behavioral angle. Basically, some species cause the infected insects to climb as high as they can, so that when the fungus bursts out the spores travel as far as possible. I don't know about you, but I find the idea of scared, confused people with a compulsion to get as high up as possible more frightening than a zombie with a re-skin.

Looks very good, and very much in the style of Amnesia. Also just looked up the fungus Cordyceps, turns out it's a real thing that really does that to bugs. I'm scared now.

There's also a disease that infects caterpillars that's essentially a zombie plague :D

It slowly eats them up from the inside, while using the motor part of the brain to make the caterpillar single mindedly climb up a tree, where it then dies, and the corrosive effects make its remains smear along the branches and drip down below, which infects more caterpillars and the cycle continues.

Be interesting if a sample of that gets taken into a genetic engineering lab...

You'd think, with the woman being infected with the Cordyceps fungus, that they would've thought about this disease of yours...

Thank you for that clarifier, I'm definitely NOT looking now. I do not want to see human cordyceps, that will freak the shit out of me. Insects evolved to practice quarantine procedures to get around that, for goodness' sake.
