nomzy: I have 3 dota 2 beta keys I'd be willing to trade for CS:GO keys. Otherwise I have to get around to selling them. >.>
Is there any way to trade games/keys on Steam proper?
Dont have CS:GO beta but I would be willing to buy and gift some other game for it... Just dont feel comfortable doing it with random people, with no guarantee the deal will go through cleanly...
I have about three Indie Gala 3 bundles (all bonuses) and two Indie Gala 4 bundles (all bonuses when unlocked) if someone wants a trade or free, depends how my hand in goes tomorrow =P Do some Googling and you can find out what's in each, but Indie Gala 3 does contain FlatOut.
Please bare in mind, I am just about to go to bed so PM me or something and I'll see what's happening tomorrow! =)
Hero in a half shell: That game actually looks quite interesting, Could I have one of them (Just send me the code in a PM) If you're still giving them out, of course.
Thanks.
On Topic I have literally nothing on my Steam account but Skyrim, which has seen more of it's fair share of use.
EDIT: Oh, if you need my Steam name it's neutralgood. Thanks again!
Gonna need either your email or confirmation that your display name is Neutralgood_ish followed by an accepted friend request before I can send it to you, either works.

There is a proper trading screen now in steam, where transactions only go through if both parties have confirmed it, so fears aside!
Superior Mind: I have a Portal I can give away but really, who doesn't have Portal already?
I got it in a free weekend where they were just giving it away for Portal 2's promotion. I'm certain even child slaves are giving away Portal.
I've been trying to give it away for ages now. :/ It's a shame you can't give away games you bought for yourself but have never installed. I mean Steam can keep track of this surely to make sure there's no foul play. I've got a couple of games on my Steam account I don't even have any intention of playing.
Way back during the Steam Christmas thing I ended up with a Risen gift, I'd never heard of the game before that and after looking it up it doesn't interest me. If anyone wants that I'll take offers. Not gonna give it to you for free though, sorry, I'm not that cool. If you are gonna offer something, TF2 stuff is probably your best bet. I can't really think of any games on Steam I want but don't have, apart from maybe Max Payne 3 or BioShock Infinite, so if you REALLY want to buy me one of those, I'll give you Risen.
But if you did that, you would also be considered a complete idiot. Nonetheless, I'll just throw that out there. Risen up for sale for... something...

Dude don't even get me started on how much I suck at Steam. Ever since I signed up I've been buying games with the intention of playing them on a better computer later. There are some games I've bought and 'played' for 2 hours to realise that 5fps is no speed to be playing at. It hurt when TF2 went free to play. I don't even regret any of my purchases, that's the worst part.

Derp. Dug up the little card, and happily started typing out the instructions on the back - until I read the boilerplate.
"Coupon may only be redeemed between May 24, 2011 and December 31, 2011"
... so much for a "game" that came with an AMD 6870 that I bought march 15, 2012.
EDIT: according to the all-knowing Loki on IRC they'll still honour it if you poke them about it. Worth a try if you're up for the Herculaneum effort of dropping AMD a mail. EDIT 2: apparently it's extended already to dec 31st, 2012.

*Raises hand* I wouldn't mind having it, but I don't want to leach off of you if you might want to keep it. *EDIT*Copy of Portal received, many thanks to you Superior Mind.
Fr]anc[is: Anyone know why your own name wouldn't show up in the steam community search? I'm trying to make sure I am findable before I post and I can't get it to see me. I even set it to public
Make sure you're using the username you signed up with, and not your Nickname.
OT: I think I have a copy of Dungeon Defenders laying around somewhere. Only the game though, none of the DLC.

Great to see the generosity that has arisen here! Keep it up guys!
Edit: If on the off chance anyone has a spare copy of AVP 2000 laying about that they would like to gift I have been looking for a while so quote or PM me if you do :)

I'll take it!
STEAM: DD Commander or DD_Commander, I forget
Don't have have anything to trade though.
That's cool, I got it in a four pack that I didn't empty out anyway. The Steam community is down at the moment apparently though, but when it gets up again I'll add you. My username is the same as here.
This thread reminds me: my GPU came with a code for Dirt 3 on Steam. Can dig it up if anyone cares.
