Looks interesting.....will keep an eye on it

I do like the idea of going 2142 on the franchise. I just hope they have some fun with the gadgets (So long as they're balanced)

Not going to lie... That was awesome... Really hope it also releases on the Vita.

Oh god dammit! Now I'm interested! Fuck's sake Treyarch!

You dun goofed the video...

OT: I actually think that it doesn't look to good. Mostly because of those robots. If I wanted to fight Robots, I'd play Halo or something...

Looks fun to me. I always enjoy the CoD campaigns so, once again, I'll rent this around November.

I swore that MW 3 would be my last CoD game, and I want to stick by that. But now I'm intrigued. Damn trailers.

I feel almost betrayed, after years of adequacy Call of Duty doesn't have the right to turn around and be awesome!

Dammit I was over you Call of Duty, and now you do this! I will curse your name as I hand over my $60 on November 13th, and I will wish you burn in hell as I squee with joy with this game.

Well played you magnificent bastard, well played.

It had me at horses.

Contrary to my belief, it looks fairly interesting.

For some reason I'm getting the urge to play Deus Ex again :P

On topic

Horseback chase sequence looks awesome.

A COD game that looks unique and fun? JESUS CHRIST TO THE RAMPARTS!!!!!!!

Meh, I only realised after watching it that I should've been like "woaaaahh" when they showed the planes. Whilst I know it's a teaser, I know it's just gonna be more of the same, which has been shit for just under 5 years. I wish Activision would go bankrupt already so something different happens in the modern warfare FPS subgenre.

Meanwhile, on Tribes...

Stopped watching when the Treyarch logo appeared.

NO THANKS. I like my games to be developed by people, not chimpanzees.

[Raspy voice]What happens if the enemy stole the keys?[/Raspy voice]

They wouldn't because no one would be that god damn stupid to leave the "keys" ,metaphorically lying around.

Silly plot devices aside it at least is finally adding in Sci-Fi elements to make sense of the crazy bullshit. Hopefully there will be at least some changes to the formula

Alright, just a couple of days ago, I said that by ditching the Cold War setting, the Black Ops series had lost most of its interest to me... but this trailer picked my attention once again.

I think this may be the first CoD game I don't buy on release... but I still plan on getting it.

I'll definitely get it, but I'll let my rich friend buy the elite/deluxe/whateverthehellitis edition so he can share the DLC.

Wow. This actually got me a bit interested in the call of duty franchise again. Hopefully they've changed up the gameplay a bit, because no matter how new the setting and story is I still wouldn't enjoy it if its still the same CoD gameplay that's been (in my opinion) cut and pasted on to the past few games.

Seems like since the first BLOPS, Treyarch suddenly got a lot better than Infinity Ward. Perhaps because of: 1. Interesting settings and 2. Gary Oldman as Reznov a.k.a "the only character in all of CoD with any sort of multi-faceted personality.

Same here

I hope you get to play as the really old man, so there's an arthritis meter instead of stamina. It would explain why we can never run 10 metres without completely running out of breath. There would be forced wheelchair sections, where you have to alternate between pushing the wheels and shooting your weapon. Y'know, little innovations to keep the game fresh.

EDIT: Also it's a billion times better than EA's piece of ass Medal of Honor Warfighter trailer. Generic boring ass piddly-widdle.

This might be a unwarranted worry but are they shooting for a T rating now? That'd make me ever so sad :(

It sounds like all the enemies are going to be unmanned weapons. Some human enemies will have to be present since SOMEONE has to be "stealing the key" but I wonder if they'll just remove some of the bloodier stuff...

Actually those chimpanzees are why we proud snobs on this site love Treyarch.

Some old outdated engine, My guess would be same 5 hour shooting gallery single player, and the Multiplayer will be the same as all the other cod games. This crap will not stop till we stop giving them our money, but sadly the sheep will keep paying.

Yeah, or maybe, just maybe, we enjoy the games. Weird, huh?

Funny how some people can't voice an opinion without condescendence.

That bloody music at the start does it every time.

I bet there's still human enemies, but the robot enemies will be there to provide more enemy variety, which is great. Shooting humans and occasionally tanks and helicopters for most of COD got boring, it's nice to see that the enemies will be more diverse. I mean, you got walking IFV's, Quadrotors, Supersonic Jets, and more cool stuff to demolish. This will definitely be the most epic COD yet.

Heh, I thought Woods died in Codblops.

I actually really like what I see so far. Looks kind of like what I imagined back around the release of CoD4 when people on the internet began to speculate on a possible CoD: Future Warfare followup.

Looks like they're keeping their predictions of the future grounded in plausibility, showing technologies in 2025 that already sort of exist in early prototype stages today.

You know what would be cool? If it turns out that nobody "stole the keys" to the robots, and they actually became self-aware.

Meh.
At least they're trying something vaguely different in style, if nothing else.

Golden rule of trailers: Don't believe them.
Trailers are made to make the game look really good without actually showing you much of anything, and the gameplay can change radically between then and launch.

Hype tactics don't fool me anymore; show me results.
The only thing a trailer tells me is that the game is probably going to launch.

LOL. Corridor of Duty. People are so gullible. Year after fucking year with this nonsense. More cinematic Michael Bay horseshit.

you're wrong on the storymode my friend

it won't be the same linear cod game as before

Wow... That was different..

On a side note that footage looks like complete and total garbage. Before someone gets all Stabby McRageface on me for that, I was not talking about the content.. That actually looks like it might be interesting to play, but how it looks on the other hand.. It looks seriously dated by today's standards, like games released 4 or 5 years ago used to look. Or anything you would play on a 360 since I'm betting that's what the game was developed to run on and will ultimately be a crappy phoned in pc port.

I'm just thinking, is this set in the same universe as the Modern Warfare series? Cause if it is it's kinda stupid to have some massive war take place just 9 years after what was essentially WW3.

Hm... Gotta say, I am officially intrigue colored after seeing that trailer. Game could still be same old, same old, but Treyarch seems to be taking the series in an interesting new direction, which I like. At least they are going for something unique (for COD), which is most definitely admirable.

no, im pretty sure Blops takes place in a different universe

Ok, that makes a bit more sense then.
