Deus Ex - common request. Rebuild it in the DX:HR engine and let it fly

I think taking ME 1/2/3 and rebuilding them all into 1 game could be cool. Retardedly massive, but cool.

Morrowind - rebuild this in the Skyrim engine

Mechwarrior games - rebuild them all in CryEngine3, mechs look awesome. Just look at Mechwarrior:Living Legends and the upcoming Mechwarrior MMO game.

Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate, Bully, Phantasy Star IV, Final Fantasy VII(obligatory), KOTOR1 and 2 :D

I'd love to se HL1 remade to fit the gameplay and visual styles of the newer games. It'd be nice to actually SEE Kleiner and Vance there and talking, not just pretend it was them after the fact.

Terranigma needs a 2.5d upgrade, but also released in North America to boot.

The main 3 PSX Crash games plus Crash Team Racing.

A RARE HD collection would be amazing! COkers Bad Fur Day and Banjo Kazooie and Tooie would be fantastic. And the Conker:Live and Reloaded had great visuals and was a good remake (except the multiplayer) But imagine the potential graphics on a current or even next gen console...

Well there's a reason for the ending being bad. When it was near completion but still not done LucasArts shipped it anyway and refused Obsidian the right to make a patch to add in the unfinished content. Also Obsidian only had a single year to work on it anyway.

From what i've heard it was actually closer to 9months not a year, I'm suprised it actually worked. But if they remade it I would be the first to pre-order it. That game was amazing.

Okami! That game still looks beautiful but I love love to play it upscaled and more crisp.

For the same reasons. It would clean up the worst of their graphical problems (namely jaggies) and truly make them some of the best looking games ever made, even by today's standards. These games do so much with the systems they're on that honestly, all they need is touch-up.

Completely re-made for HD consoles:

Deus Ex in the DXHR engine. Really wanna see that game fully realized in HD graphics. Gameplay can stay the same as ever, just make it super detailed and noir like Human Revolution.

It's an action RPG rather than the original game, but I've heard it's pretty good. Also I have to agree that both those games should be remade. Great games both of them.

you heard wrong, the VO is horrible, the changed Maxim's character (he's something of an idiot in the DS remake) changed weapons for no reason (Tia uses a suit case now),and combat is very dull, they also took away the world map, so there no wandering around the map anymore.

your better off with the SNES version, its better in pretty much every way

I would love to see Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 remade into 3D games with cutscenes, voice acting, and the first person aiming you find in the later installments.

Most of the PS2 games I thought would be good in HD have already been made into it, God of War II, Prince of Persia, Shadow of the Colossus, and Metal Gear Solid 3.

For the future, I'm just waiting for them to announce a Grand Theft Auto HD collection.

I got it for 4 bucks brand new. I sold my PS2 a few years ago so and my PS3 doesn't play PS2 games.

As someone already stated, Lufia 2. No, the DS remake DOESN'T COUNT. It's nowhere near the same game.

I'd kill for a Legacy of Kain HD collection, assuming it had every game of the series. Except maybe Blood Omen 2, as it's not canon.

Now that was the biggest disappointment of the day. Oh well, the SNES versions are still some of my favourite games and I guess I will stick with them then.

Ronin Blade/Soul of the Samurai.

One of my favourite games, a great little PS1 gem. An action game with slight survival horror vibe set in Edo-period Japan that has you playing as a Ronin or Ninja trying to stop the ambitions of an evil lord who plans to unleash monsters and shit to take over the land.

Had a kickass soundtrack too.

The only collection I was missing was Ratchet & Clank, but it's coming soon, so I'm satisfied!
Wouldn't mind seeing Dark Chronicles released though. Had it for PS2, but it got destroyed when I tried to fix my broken console by throwing it in the floor. Never got very far because I didn't really understand the game. First time I encountered that type of gameplay(like action rpg irrc).
Don't remember if it was good or not, but in my mind it's pretty nostalgic to think about it.

I guess everything that I'd like was already said. I'd really love a Deus Ex overhaul cis other than games like Doom or System Shock, It aged like a Banana. Which is to say very, VERY poorly. i...what? what is wrong with you people? deus ex yes, because it looks like complete ass and is woefully obsolete technology wise (even though it would never happen because that kind of content-packed complex-gameplay would never fly in the current gen). KOTOR 2 yes because it was unfinished, but Re4? mass effect? are you f**king serious?! the things you want improved barely qualify as an EVE online content patch, not a whole re-release. not to mention the fact that you want a remake of a game IN THE CURRENT CONSOLE GENERATION. does that not strike anyone else as a bit indulgent?! a bit... buying into the practice of publishers releasing the same game again in HD because people are so hopelessly enslaved to the advance of technology that any trivial improvement somehow justifies buying the same thing again? do you want every game to be like street fighter, with a new super-ultimate-turbo edition every year?

there are absolutely ZERO games that NEED a re-release or remake. a few gems of yesteryear could use updates so that the current generation could appreciate the classics, but modern trends have a habit of fucking up any attempt to revitalize things from other eras of time. see: duke nukem, x-com FPS, the entire modern movie industry with its endless stream of nostalgia-exploiting shitty remakes and adaptations...

the only games that could be updated with acceptable changes are games that are modern enough to have no reason to be updated.

In all seriousness, if games deserve remakes, it's the N64/PS1 era. These are easily the worst looking games ever. I mean, compare SMW to SM64. SMW was SNES but was more aesthetically pleasing since it made 2D look good instead of a bad, unpolished 3D.

Silent Hill 1 and 3 should be remade and streamlined together on a single disc.
