Your battle theme

Seeing that I'm bored again I thought I'd have a little fun.

Okay, here's the situation: It's your time to shine against the protagnist and you appear out of no where facing towards the protaganist. After a brief conversation, you get ready to fight, ahh but wait, as soon as you get into your fight position, a song begins to play. You know shits going down and only one person is coming out of this epic showdown.

To the question: What song begins to play during your boss fight? It can be from anything.

Here's mine:

yes, I like Kingdom Hearts, have a problem?

Standard:

Any of these will do....

Probably the main theme from Black Temple. Those horns are just sensational. I still think Black Temple is the one of the very best musical things Blizzard did in WoW.

Rockin', catchy, and universal enough to fit a wide range of settings.

Oooooh, deviously awesome thread idea. :)

Very cool choice. I can't settle on just one theme. It depends too much on the scene.

First time we meet, gotta set the right mood, you know, leave the right impression. Let them know just how outmatched they're going to be from the start.

Now that I've gained the upper hand and feel like really screwing with them, maybe letting slip a couple of dramatic revalations about how I was the one who burned down their entire village 15 years ago: (1:05>)

Now... if this is a question of being a suave bad-ass, a gentleman as well as an officer (and without one of these, I'm going to be a fairly one-dimensional villain):

And for the final confrontation, that do-or-die, make-or-break moment...

That's the selection I roll out with. >:)

Wow. That is a suprisingly awesome answer, extra points for creativity :D

With that scenerio this soundtrack totally fit it (well in my head)-

I mean to me it sound inspiring for me the protagonist to start the battle and has that beginner type of sound to it.

Indecipherable:

Agh! You beat me to it!
Then again that is more of a protagonist song

My Boss Fight music

First meeting 5 levels in

Final Batle

That's right I'm not just a one time deal!

Eug, I refuse to be an rpg boss. What an undignified way to go! I'll take the dignified way out via one on one arena combat. Two enter but only one leaves.

-Either Rocket Arena or Instagib
-Low Grav
-25 kills, no time limit

We get a practice round to warm up, after that it's on. Cue the music:

Personally I would use this to get that "I am an enemy of Biblical proportions!" feel to my fight.

But this song could work as a prequel to the final battle.

All of the battle music from this game is incredible AND intimidating. Hell, even some of the non-battle music is pretty awe inspiring.

The Sun Rises motherfuckers!

Ain't no way I'll lose now :D

I love this track so much.

Gaming - Serious Business.

What can I say. When its time for an epic battle, only Total War soundtracks will do.

TO VICTORY MEN! WE SHALL ABSOLUTELY CRUSH THEM!

What can I say? I know two sword styles, have black hair (like the character who's battle theme this is), and I also play the violin.

Here's mine. It sounds like a laid-back tune, but I get hype listening to this! Perfect for a fight!

Boss fight (like if the boss was a hot, spunky chick):

I've actually starting running a lot of Two Steps from Hell in the background while playing stuff recently. Good stuff to listen to.

This is the song I've been using to pump me up for a while.

Either:

Noisia - Machine Gun (16 Bit Remix)

Or, better yet:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution OST - Icharus.
Epic song. Massive soundtrack.

Its epic, and it fits me "rule the earth" style.

How could I lose at anything now?

distortedreality:

Excellent choice, it has a certain gravitas that all the other songs seem to lack. As can be demonstrated here:

A sharp suit and a Tommy gun are both mandatory.

Something with ominous Latin chanting about how I'll end up leaving the world in ashes. The title is my name (because I'm so badass I don't need a fancy title.) It would be 8 minutes and 1 second long and around the 5.47 mark, things get slower, sadder and the lyrics get much deeper. That's the moment when you realise I'm not a one dimensional character, but more of a tragic figure.

Ralen-Sharr:

Excellent choice. Definitely worthy of boss-battle-style ass-whuppin'.

OT:
It depends on the kind of mood the game is set in. If the game has a kind of epic feel to it, this would be my theme of choice:

If it's more of the modern, new-agey variety, though, I'd prefer this instead:

Basically anything from Two Steps From Hell. Such as the following:

This surprisingly wouldn't be out of place on an older FF soundtrack, an excellent battle theme. When that drumroll comes up towards the end, building towards an epic climax, you know only one of you is walking out alive.

This. Because it's so awesome that it even overrides boss themes.

I have three.
If I am playing LoL as Singed then it's this

Or any other time it would be either this

Or this

I would win in a heartbeat.

When it's boss time, only one of us will have the will to survive!
