So yeah... check out Commander Bust-a move. I like the part where he spreads his arms and does the helicopter.

He may be the galaxy's saviour, but he's still the shittiest dancer in gaming hitory... ever.

Thoughts on this?

I think the next game in the series should be Dance Central: Afterlife Club edition.

lol, he isn't the worst

Funny how it is Bioware both times, they just can't do dancing.

Yeah, Biowaste's animators obviously don't know how to dance. Seriously? They can't mocap that shit?

Their dancing has always looked pathetic, as Matt's evidence clearly indicates... but Shepard is a lame dancer. Interesting that an intergalactic playboy dances like a loser...

Guess military training doesn't afford much time for dancing anyway. How's a bad ass space marine expected to dance? That ain't really their thing.

The shittiness of Bioware's dancing makes it look more realistic.

CAPTCHA: tickle the ivories.
No, Captcha. Not after the accident.

That's how I dance....

It's also probably the reason I can't get a date.

That'll be the hardcore mode for the Mass Effect Kinect game, win the dancing stage as Commander Shepard.

Now now, that was the best part of Taris, don't be hating. If only because the animations are so terrible that when you try to sabotage her act, you run around in circles like a jackass.

I dunno, I thought his dancing was cheesy and stupid but I couldn't bring myself ot hate it. It's just so adorably goofy.

I liked how in ME3 Jack and Garrus both poke fun at Shepard for being a crappy dancer.

It made me roll around in laughter the first time.

A true Jedi would never do such a thing!

You tuck your head down and do the helicopter?

xD

At an expo once, there was dubstep, dancing, I was dressed as spiderman, became involved with the dancing, and was eventually pushed into an open circle where people could "Step to it".
I began the helicopter tuck shepard dance. When (I thought) I was finished, a large dude dressed as Thor entered the circle, nodded and we danced for about 15 minutes, In this manner.

I don't know if this is true, but apparently there is a video of this somewhere on youtube. I saw someone with a camera.

I don't think it's just Bioware (or Shepard)..I mean have you ever seen a game where casual dancing had good/nice/believable animations?

I honestly couldn't think of one and it's a discussion I've recently had. They're all awkward, full of clipping or just weird.

Shepard's dancing was one of his most relatable characteristics. I'm a tall, skinny white dude. I'm genetically predisposed to suck at dancing. Knowing that this personal shame of mine wouldn't preclude me from saving the Galaxy is a constant source of comfort... :p

That sounds... amazing.

I should go to a convention sometime, but they are never in Wales :/

I think your problem is that you're not commander Shepard. I have no actual cure for that. But if you find one, can you give me a shout, since I seem to have the same condition.

Also, I can only dance worse than that.

What?

Shepard is a great dancer!

Shepherd's shitty dancing is clearly the flaw he or she has to make him or her more relate-able.

My mouth actually fell upon when I first saw Shepard dancing.

BECAUSE IT WAS JUST SO AMAZING.
Naw it sucked major balls.

I mean srsly, the man eats Reapers for breakfast, why can't he channel that awesome onto the dancefloor? For shame.

Garrus poked fun, Jack straight up calls Shepard a shitty dancer.

Large, as in he was of the appropriate build for Thor, or large as in he was more of a god of thunder down under?

Gets the ladies everytime....

Well to Bioware's credit, they do lampshade the whole "wow this dance animation sucks thresher maw arse" thing during a conversation with Jack in the dance club.

"Shepard, everyone knows you can't dance"

or something to that effect.

Garrus said the same.

"In the right hands, though... this gun can dance."

"Well, you know, there are some people out there who've seen Commander Shepard in action. They seemed impressed."

"Yeah, but I've actually seen you dance.

... No comment."

In any case, you can't expect Shepard to be amazing at everything, right? After all, he apparantly sucks at chess to.

Shepard: "A couple of people have seen me fight, they seemed impressed"
Garrus:"Yeah but, I have actually seen You dance... No comment"
I like how in me3 everyone says Shepard sucks at dancing. I probably butchered that quote though. Shepard is just a terrible dancer.

Shepard is a TERRIBLE dancer, she needs to be kept from the dance floor at all costs, the paparazzi will be all over that shit.

But....Garrus told me I was a great dancer

I don't think Ive ever seen or made Shepard dance

purely because of cringe factor

Paragon Shepard:

Oh honey, no.

You are a terrible dancer, maybe get Mordin to teach you, he has been in musical theater, after all.

Maybe a little of column A) and a little of column B) wink wink nudge nudge.
Nah, I honestly didn't think to look at his mighty hammer (But in hindsight I should have), But I meant large by taller than me. I'm about 5 10 and I think he was 6foot ish, maybe taller.

EDIT:
We drank, We fought, We made our ancestors proud!

My Shepard never dances, she only drinks in bars.
Dancing is for peopl who don't save the galaxy time and time again.
Stupid Cerberus, stupid Alliance, stupid Miranda....

And I was telling you I should have looked at his hammer, mjolnir. Wherin lies the confusion?

I would pay good money to watch a Bioware staff party, if this is the idea of dancing they have :)
