Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs teaser trailer released! Pages 1 2 NEXT
If it's as good as I hope it will be, I am going to develop severe swinophobia (fear of pigs).
Yeah, I thought the " machine for pigs " was just this abstract thing the character compares the world to ( said by the dev in an interview ) but it looks like they'll be somewhat literal as well.
It's good that they didn't reveal the monster in the trailer. I remember the Amnesia US box art.
... and just like that, I am eagerly anticipating this game. The trailer looked a little bright, but the music and art were precisely what I would hope for from a Frictional game. TheChineeseRoom being involved is probably a good thing, too, since Korsakovia was spectacularly screwed-up.
This game is looking pretty good. I can't wait to play it.
The link isn't working for me. To the youtubemobile! EDIT:
There's something very unsettling about the pig squeals that makes them worse than the usual monster growls we get in games. I'm really looking forward to this.
Looking awesome, as always. But damn it, why do you have to be so scary! This is just ridiculous, I can't bring myself to finish Justine!
I doubt I'll ever play it myself, too scared, but I'm sure I'll watch a playthrough and it's looking good at least so far. Here's to hoping the Chinese Room knows what they're doing.
I love Frictional games....
Take my money etc etc. Totally looking forward to this.
want to play it, but i'm too scared D: seriously, i am not even past the half of ht first game.
I've had amnesia on my steam list for 6 months, and haven't played it. This'll probably happen again... And speaking of amnesia, what was with the box art in some places? It made it look more like resident evil than an actual horror game :/
Never in my life was I breathing so loudly in horror while playing a videogame.
For anyone that knows him...I fear for PewDiePie. (And Piggeh) for my opinions...I will shat my pants at the very start of this. Looks very scary indeed...many everyone will be scared of pigs after this game. xD
My captcha says it all here. "well done" ...I'm probably going to buy this. And not play it. Horror games fascinate me, but if they're actually scary, I generally play them for an hour or two before I turn it off and never put it on again. And The Dark Descent did that pretty darn well. Hell, I'm not even sure I've been subjected to anything dangerous yet. That game just fucks with your head so bad ._.
Release it on consoles as well, you sonuvabitch, we need horror too, and I will never be able to afford a computer that can run any of your games! Other than my...slight desparation, it's looking good, very good, and nice to see somebody doing the whole "creepy mansion thing". I miss those.
I'm not sure if I should be excited or terrified. I'm definitely going to buy it, but I'm not sure I want to...
Looking forward to the doodoo in my undergarments. And I'm really curious as to what exactly they're going to change about the game, since this is supposed to play differently from the first Amnesia.
The moment I saw the logo for The Chinese room, I realized something... Hundreds of thousands of bladders will be released during the course of this game....
Looking very snazzy indeed and I'm glad they are doing so well, now keep it the hell away from me, this is probably the one game that could scare me to death.
I hope they change a lot of stuff from the first. I don't thing the same thing will hit so hard twice.
Well, it seems I'll never think of pork in any other terms now, other than homicidal. I want this game a hell of a lot!
I saw some outdoor instances in the trailer. Hope they have some sections were you're just walking around in an empty town, then small noices everywhere, nothing to the left, nothing to the right, but you keep hearing them noices... Actually quite glad that there's a couple of people actually making horror games (such as, horror games, not hooters with monsters) because there's a lot you can experiment on.
Not even started Amnesia apart from the demo, only just got it from the bundle. What small amount I've seen and played I'm looking forward to and glad there are games like this coming out, I loved Silent Hill and Resident Evil when they were actually survival horror.
Those pig squeals were fucking unnerving... Can't wait to play it!
PROMETHEEEEEUUUU- Oh, sorry - I was confused by what trailer I was watching. (At least people have finally ditched Inception's, BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHMMMMM, eh?)
I don't like the fact that the protagonist is showing fear. We should be the ones to decide if we're afraid or not. I hope that breathing thing was done just for the trailer.
The game looks really good, but I'm probably not gonna buy it unless it's in a bundle or something, like Amnesia and the potato bundle from last year.
Is it just me, or do the environments look much more detailed in this one than in the original? Anyway, really looking forward to this. I loved the first, hope this one will be just as good.
Hooters with monsters would make a fantastic horror game. O/T Well, I guess horror fans have something else to look forward to. Although I'll almost certainly chicken out and never play it. Never was any good at horror games.
It wouldn't surprise me to see this one to go on sale, since the first got the majority if it sales through pre order discounts and being part of steam's holiday event.
HOLY FUCK BALLS, DO WANT! I can't wait :D
Well, that looked damn awesome! To be honest, at first I was a little nervous when I heard that The Chinese Room would be developing the game instead of Frictional Games, but after seeing this trailer my fears have been put to rest, looked very much like an Amnesia game, if a little bright. But I can't wait to see more.

Here it is folks a video showing us a brief glimpse at several different areas of the upcoming game, ending with a sliver of gameplay as our character sits cowering under some stairs from a dude busting down the door in amnesia style.
So what do you guys think, shaping up to be a worthy successor of the original?
For myself, I think it is coming along nicely, and I can't wait for its release this fall.
