One of my friends thinks that Go It Alone by Beck would be a good theme for Gray Fox (Metal Gear Solid). He even made a Youtube video of it.

Princess Zelda - "Amaranth", by Nightwish

That's about all I can think of...

Well, "Life for Rent" by Dido for Samus Aran, to an extent. Oh, and "Drifting" by Yellowcard makes me think of Mia and Alex from the Golden Sun series sometimes.

Heh, "Conquer All" by Behemoth for the gentleman in Overlord.

Anthrax's "Random Acts of Senseless Violence" for Crackdown's Agent.

Link could use a good song. Nothing retarded like Dragonforce. "Sun and Steel" By Iron maiden.
Gannondorf would go insanely well with Cradle of Filth's "Nemesis", or "Haunted Shore".

Brain Power, Artist unknown to me, for Gordon Freeman.

And ofcourse the Doom Marine needs his own song: "Hell Awaits" by Cradle of Filth.

It might just be me, but I really feel that the marine from Doom should have "Numa Numa" (Ozone) as his theme song.

For Solid Snake, i would say "Bohemian Rhapsody" (Queen, best song ever btw) would work really well.

Link "Don't Stop Believing"(Journey)Pretty self-explanatory.

Except that roles are reversed right? Zelda was not a small town girl and Link wasn't a city boy. But I lol'd my pants none-the-less.

Kratos (I will survive)

if anyone saw meet the Spartans you'll know why adding this song to a spartan warrior is funny. Probably one of the only funny things though in that movie.

Master Chief (Halo) - Unknown Soldier, by Breaking Benjamin
Alyx Vance (Half-Life 2) - She's A Rebel, by Green Day

These songs work well for a lot of characters, probably. Unknown Soldier for anyone who could be described as "fighting forever", She's A Rebel for most tough-as-nails female heroines. Alyx gets extra credit for being an actual rebel.

Also:
Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII) - Evil Angel, by Breaking Benjamin (One Winged Angel was written for Sephiroth, and is therefore disqualified)

Samus Aran: Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot like me. (No, I'm not being serious)

Samus Aran (Really): You spin me round (like a record) - Dead or Alive
...It works. Really, it does. Come on, give it a shot.

Gordon Freeman: Hero - Nickelback

Kratos: Blood Red Sandman - Lordi

Bioshock protagonist: Nemo - Nightwish
(I admit that this one's a bit weird, but I feel it works.)

Ethan Thomas: Another Stranger Me - Blind Guardian
(Come on, a man battling with insanity and extreme violent urges. Sounds like Ethan Thomas in Condemned 2 to me!)

Heh, loved the video for Blood Red Sandman, can't go wrong with The Evil Dead.

Frank West needs "The Night of the Loving Dead" by Lordi.

And if Sephiroth, as much as I hate FF7, needed any song, it would be "Angel of Death" by Slayer.

And I think Master Chief would go best with Megadeth's "Psychotron"
Also, you can't say Marcus Fenix needs Megadeth's "Gears of War" because when that game was announced Dave Mustaine thought that would be an awesome song title.

For Jackie Estacado, from the game The Darkness. The song "I miss you" by Blink 182. Come on, the song is about the loss of a loved one and is dark, considering the artist, also the lyrics "This sick strange darkness comes creeping on so haunting every time".

Drowning Pool's "Let the bodies hit the floor" will fit in with just about every game, but probably more so for the protagonist in Manhunt.

Didn't think about that, more of the "He won't stop believing that hell get into Zelda's pants one day."

Hey Colton, try not to post six times in a row. It's severely frowned upon.
and Indigo Dingo: NO! That song was only written because Megadeth thought it was a kickass name after the game came out. Shame on you. Go to your corner.

"Perry Mason" by Ozzy for Sam and Max. (Yes I know it was written for the show Perry Mason but still.)

Who didn't put "Thriller" on their 360 just to play when you go through that red-eyed zombie FMV? I totally did.
