I bet Tai will be back, Maria will be back (with super badass action girl armor) because of something that had to do with the Lambent (who didn't attack the guys when they wen't down the elevator, even if they were shooting at them need I remind you) probably because Imulsion has something to do with a hive mind thing (like when the Imulsion leaked from the baddie that fell onto the elevator and went back up to the pack). Annnnnd Adam Fenix is still alive, and the Locust Queen could be his mom... either that or the Locust Queen gave birth to the Locusts, OR the Locusts are mutated Sires (mutated humans). Anonymous Source Posts: 10 Joined: 5 Jan 2009 | That whole thing about his mom seems not possible if you look at pics of Maria and Lcoust queen side by side they do look alot alike but locust queen has shorter hair than maria but it still same type of hair cut but no pony tail they are pretty much the same body type but I really am not 100% on that I origianly thought it was a patient whos file you can read in the war journal if you find it in the research facility I'll have to re read it but who knows. |

Anonymous Source Posts: 10 Joined: 5 Jan 2009 | Not always true diferent promounciations and spelling like Yakove wouldn't be Yakove in english it becomes something like Jacob amd Moishe I believe is Mark in english I dunno exactly but it translates into a english name. Edit: some names are the same throughout different languages but have different spellings like Aharon(Aaron) in Hebrew so Maria could be Myrrah in hebrew spelling so in other words in America we would call the girl Maria but in Israel they would call the girl Myrrah but in Israel the america girl would be called Maria and ame with Myrrah in America. |

When you go through the research facility there was a 15 year old female patient being tested on 15 years before Gears of War 2. Soon, they went to the mountains with some more test subjects. So the queen should be 30, and the queen in the game looks around that age. Also, it would explain her hatred towards humans for testing on her and the reason why their headquarters is in the mountain that the female subject was transported to... Also explains the "old passage" that you take in the game. |

Have they confirmed yet that they are making a GoW3? Epic said in an interview that Gears of War 2 hit all the points they wanted to nail in the trilogy. The part with Adam talking at the end seems like a three will be inevitable, but I could definitely see them doing a prequel before 3 comes out. Gears 1, Gears 2, Gears Origins, Gears 3....something like that. |

More to the point it's rather incongruous, the locust are somehow insect based, the have a hive and a queen etc. The queen directs the locust so how would they have decided to make Dom's wife queen without an existing queen to give the order? Even if an original queen did she would never give up her reign. |

And "we" means her and the locust. |

It's outdated now we know what has happened, but if you check the date the thread started it was before Gears of War 2 actually came out.
It would be funny if another Carmine died in the third one, but the fourth brother was a huge testosterone pumping badass like Marcus. |

I also noticed that the Gow1 Carmine's first name was Anton(or Anthony?) and the second one's name was Benjamin. I bet you the next two's first initials will be C and D. EDIT: Another question, What the hell happened to Dizzy?!. I mean come on, he was my favorite character! |

No she was already when Dom found her but I was just comparing images of the locust queen and maria and their face looks exactly alike so my guess is that for the locust queen they copied marias DNA for their queen making Maria nothing but a dried up husk.
