It's kind of odd yet funny that all the comments for that video are people saying that they absolutely love Advent Rising. As for me, i'll have to say this ad for Mass Effect was one of my favorites. |

I see your Gears of War Mad World ad, and raise you the Battlefield: Bad Company parody version. |

Seen it along with Snake Eyes and Rainbow Sprinkles. Those are really funny but I'll still take the original. |

It slowly pans through, and we come to Master Chief who slightly turns his head towards the camera. I don't know why I like it, it just seems cool to me. I also LOVED Final Fantasy VIII's commercial, it's basically just a recut FMV but it was done really well. |

So most memorable one for me was Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. You had a normal New York like building, a kid inside his apartment playing the game and has he played you noticed the moon both in game and in real world starting to come down onto the world as the kid frantically tried to beat time and finish the game before the moon went nuclear on the building he resided on. It truly showed the atmosphere and essence of the game on the get go and it'll be stuck to my memory for a long, long time. |

I remember that one too, very cool. And the Mass Effect one mentioned is awesome as well. |

Wow, very nice. Here's my contribution: 1. Phil Hartman goes nuts for Ice Hockey, by Activision: http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=lROb1vWNiig 2. A couple of Sonic Adventure ads that seem to make me grin. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=8jp0ReAjNYY 3. This one isn't a TV commercial, but damn if it doesn't make the game smack of epic. It's a secret video found in the Japanese re-release of Kingdom Hearts II, called "Birth By Sleep". |

Yeah, that is an awesome video (so is the original, shorter version that lacks the fight, though that isn't as cool.) Anyway, the long version of the "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" commercial. Made me want to buy that game so badly. Also (and this might be here already), this commercial (see below). It's just weird. ...Oh-god... this next one is creepy. |

I liked those Ratchet and Clank commercials though, the ones where those guys screw around with the weapons. I always liked it because I thought "ha, I wonder what would happen if we got our hands on R&C-esque weapons..." whenever I saw them. EDIT:
Oh those were on T.V. ?!?! I loved those videos but I never saw them on the tube. |

It was funny. it showed the hero and the arch-enemy in a classic sword fight in a open castle hall. Just as the hero cuts of the head of the other swordsman, his disembodied head rolls on the floor and shouts "cut, cut nigel he cut of my head, Nigel he cut my head off. He walks of screen and the remaining swordsman words are "what a wuss" now that was classic |

Found it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=JntHVUp7m4E It's still an epic win. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 911 Joined: 20 Jun 2008 | Duke Nukem Forever... Yes it's probably pointless fluff, but still, it's a little epic I guess. I agree, that trailer was one hell of an entrance for the legend himself. I think those live action trailers for Halo are pretty bad ass. Gives you an idea of what the movie (if Peter Jackson ever gets off his arse and does it) will look like |
