In Bioshock Rapture is gone to hell as you progress you do a lot of damge to the place but you never see the consequences. Bioshock two could be about how the city has been torn apart. In Bioshock the city, while decaying, was mostly intact, aside from a plane landing on it. What with all the stuff which Jack destroyed, it could have caused some irrepairable damage. Maybe you start as one of the few 'sane' people left . You could try to escape before the city is destroyed or collapse the city to stop the splicers from getting to the surface.I think that could be one route to go. (Probably not the best) |

As for the bioshock movie I have no faith it will be good for the same reason a majority of game to movie adaptations fail. The writer/director will not like the story, or wants people to be surprised by it instead of knowing what happens so they'll create a new story only the names and places might be the same, throw in a love story, remove the little sisters (zomg we can't have a movie ware a little girl is put in harms way) so all thats left is a movie that takes place in an underwater city |

That's pretty much where the speculation is about BioShock 2 - people are thinking it'll probably be about how Rapture fell before the protagonist arrived. This is speculation, of course. We're not entirely sure what they're going to do with BioShock 2 yet. |

If it was I would be excited for it but no, 2K franchised Bioshock and has another studio handling it. I do wish to see another Shock game come out though after all this hoopla is done in about 4 years. |

For instance, would it be impossible for you to actually play as fontaine? After all there is alot of back story in his character and the fight between him and his goons vs the police etc. where he disappears could perhaps be a dramatic finale or epic battle nearer the end. Would tie up some loose ends in the story. Then final cutscene could be him writing a small tag and attaching it to a present :) If people recognise how that ties into the first game. It's definetly worth some thought. |

In this game you play as a special 'prototype' big daddy, you can make use of the rivet gun, the drill(!), the grenade launcher and chemical thrower, other weapons haven't been mentioned. The new bad guy, well bad girl, is the 'big sister' a former little sister who couldn't bare life on the surface so returned to rapture, there she underwhent the big daddy change programme. She kitted her self out with special armour, then a special ADAM seringe. OH! You can also venture out into the ocean this time around, after all big daddys have scuba suits. |

Give the developers some credit, Radelaide. It could very well be that we haven't seen anything, yet, and the prequel (assuming Bioshock 2 is a prequel) will actually make the universe make more sense instead of less.
