Anyone played Braid yet?

Just downloaded it last night and spent a half hour or so with it. Gorgeous aesthetic, great music and, from what I've see, really innovative gameplay. With all the buzz it had going for it, I hope it becomes more than a sleeper hit.

Anyone else play it yet? What do you think?

Well, I'm going to go get a 4000 MS Point card this weekend for Geometry Wars 2, Braid, Castle Crashers and possible Bionic Commando Rearmed if Castle Crashers is $15... but will prob be $20.

I'm very, very wary about spending $15 on a one shot game like Braid, that will last me about 3~6 hours. I spent $20 on PA Adventures: OtRSPoD, but I have replayed that one and the humor and writing makes it worth to me unlike puzzles. Portal is $20, as well, but the modding community, mainly the flash version going 3D and doubling the game length has made it well worth that cost...

... so Yes, I'm a bit gun shy due to the price. $10 would be perfect, $15 seems a bit much. Loved the demo.

Downloaded it last night, and I now have maybe 80% of the game complete after 4 hours. I really don't like how the game lets you skip levels if you want, but demands 100% completion to see the ending. Also, this is not a platformer, it is a puzzle game, don't be fooled.

Still worth my $15 though. The story is low-key but interesting, the graphics and sound are fantastic, and some of the levels are pure genius (although I found the timing-based ones frustratingly difficult, I'm bad at this sort of thing).

Me too. Since I had the lovely surprise of having 500 points deposited into my account for buying GTA on the first day of release I decided to buy... Geometry Wars. The price does seem to be asking a bit much for such a short game. I loved the demo, particularly the Jumpman section, but it just seems a bit expensive.

I played it, and although I was impressed, $15 seems a bit much for my liking (I'm also really broke these days).

In the coming months I have much to buy, GeoWars2 and Castle Crashers alone are probably gonna be a good 2000 points (if they keep CC's pricing sane, if it goes over 1200 I'll have some points to spare though). I could see myself buying it if it ever slips to $10.

Is it only going to be available for the 360? If so, then colour me sad.

There will be a PC version getting released on Steam fairly soon. Sadness will not be necessary :)

I was waiting for more of the office to get sucked in by it. :)
