It really pissed me off. |

I mean I wanted to KILL. I wanted to see blood and veins in my teeth. And I started jumping up and down yelling, "Kill, kill, KILL!!!!!!"...... Ten points to whomever calls out that reference first. All for now. User was banned for: The hypocrisy is KILLING me.. (Permanent) |

It pissed me off so much I stopped playing for months, and then went back, got pissed off again, and bought the guide. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 4297 Joined: 20 Dec 2007 | Soul Calibur 4 is fresh in my mind, therefore it reminds me of all fighting games where you are kicking ass and then all of a sudden "OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK?!" - the king of this is JINPACHI from Tekken 5. He is a cheating bastard and is the worst boss EVER. SC4 has surprisingly few of these though..by fighting game standards that is. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 66 Joined: 28 Apr 2008 | Well, when I was really young the fifth boss of links awakening made me rage. You had hit it a bunch of times, than it would fall, and then you put a bomb on it. Yeah, easy right? Well, I was really young. One time my brother did it for me, and right when I was going to save the gameboy ran out of batteries. RAAAAGE! Also, The on 2nd on foot section of Cheddar Gorge in Resistance. You have like 10 minutes of playing between the checkpoints. |
Copy Clerk Posts: 112 Joined: 6 Aug 2008 | Resident Evil 4. Not the game itself, just what it did. Situation: I was currently stuck on Free Bird (Expert) in Guitar Hero 2 about a year ago. I couldn't beat it for the life of me, so I bought Resident Evil 4 to curb my frustration. I pop it in, get to the first typewriter, save my game. I go to play RE4 again the next day, and as it turns out, the data had corrupted my PS2 memory card and I had lost all data. I replayed RE4 and everything seemed to be fine, but to this day, I haven't touched GH2 since. I know I could probably beat Free Bird now (I just beat Through the Fire and Flames on Expert in GH3 on the Wii), but I just don't want to replay THE ENTIRE GAME just to get to Free Bird and beat it, especially when there's tripe like Stop and Psychobilly Freakout in my way. |

Kefka? You know, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (I have ~Time~) is surprisingly frustrating. Thieves, scammers, and rudeness-bigotry-rascism-downright meanness in the MMORPG scene make my blood boil, but for an actual gaming moment, Diddy Kong's Red Card in Strikers: Charged. The move is broken, and the AI in general is overpowered. We refuse to play it anymore. |
Pulitzer Laureate Posts: 846 Joined: 9 May 2008 | The jumping puzzles in Dark Forces: Jedi Knight. Oh sith those were hard! No matter how I tried, I could not make some of those jumps. I finally had to resort to using cheat codes to fly over those pits and traps. That's another thing: crappy cheat codes in todays games. Hardly any games these days have good cheat codes that really help struggling gamers. Now most of them are unlockables that you get for beating a level or sometimes the whole game. What? If you can beat the game, you don't need any cheats. Duh! Some are nothing more than different costumes for your character or a new gun or a making of featurette. Not much help. Occasionally I can still find cheats that actualy help you get through the game the first time around but they are getting more rare. |

Only thing I can think of is Full Metal Jacket. "What do we do for a living ladies?!?" "Kill, Kill, Kill!!!" |
Paperboy Posts: 25 Joined: 17 Jul 2008 | Not the games fault, but I remember renting Starfox for the Nintendo 16 bit system. (In the days before mem cards.) I was on the last mission really in the zone, three friends watching. My friends Girl walks in and slides her backpack into the living room after a long day. Of course this goes right into the reset button, that chick was shunded that night. Funny thing was I did'nt care that much, I had fun playing but the watchers were HOT. |

Paperboy Posts: 28 Joined: 14 May 2008 | I can't recall any exact moments, but these seem to happen a lot with me. Any boss fight where I have gotten the boss down to almost no health and said boss pulls out this hitherto unknown stupidly overpowered supermove that wipes out me/my entire party. |

Copy Clerk Posts: 59 Joined: 10 Aug 2008 | Okay, my #1 pet peeve in gaming is this. You know when you play a racing game where all the bots have the same position in the race from start to finish in every race in the tournament or whatever. It means that the only variable in the race is you. Every bot has a preassigned spot in the race which means if you don't get first, then the same guy will get it every time and beat you, so the game forces you to win every race if you plan on winning the tournament. It pisses me off to no end because in real life you could win second in every race and still might come out on top, but lazy programmers just randomly assign everyone there own spot, forcing you to win every race. |

For Example: I was playing Mario 64 on the Nintendo 64 and had gotten all the stars but 5. So the next time i went to play and reach this milestone i was struck with a kick to the nuts, a foster kid my mother was taking care of had erased my profile and replaced it with hers. This caused anger to go throughout my body and i nearly killed her. i have never come close to the point which i was at again.
so what is yours.
