As for secrets, every little thing in MGS4, like following Sunny upstairs to see the PS3 and PSP being unpacked, the conversation where Otacon tells Snake he's "the shit", Hideo1, etc. |

Ah Star road. I remember seeing that for the first time and going "Wow what is this place O.O" |
Beat Writer Posts: 179 Joined: 5 May 2008 | I liked picking up the weapons locker keycard in Parasite Eve 2 - not so much of a secret I guess but it annoyed the hell out of the co-worker who told me about the game as it's right in the beginning when you're at the hotel (outside in the balcony garden) and can't be used until towards the end when you're in the secret facility - loaded up with weapons and ammo - schweet because he was so stuck for ammo and guns at that point he re-started the entire game to pick it up :D |
Beat Writer Posts: 169 Joined: 2 Jun 2008 | the scarab gun in halo 2 was neat, as was the microwave in half life, but the one that really sticks for me is in max payne 2, if you jump on the outskitrting cement shelf on the apartment level on a balcony you can run around the outside and into this room which is a shrine for someone who died during development, now that was a weird one. |

Yep I found it again! I found the "Secret dead bunny killed by the secret ninja chicken(tm) has been found!" secret. As well as the secret ninja, though I think they goofed cause it looks like a Samurai chicken. |

On you quest to ruin a party & be a complete bastard to everyone you come across a computer in the hallway. One of your options is to switch the computer off/unplug it, but if you do it resets your computer, and in the case of the Spectrum I played it on, meant having to load & start the game again. Not the most rewarding secret, but still great nonetheless, mainly due to it's innovation. I also fondly remember all the funny secrets & jokes on Summer Games on the Amiga. Most of them involved failing your attempt at an event, but were funny. Shooting the ground in Archery would make a mole appear & say "Hey man I don't dig that!"(?) On the menu screen in North & South, clicking the pointer on the photographer's arse would make him giggle & move. IK+ had lot's of little secrets too, such as pressing T to make the fighter's trousers fall down, typing swear words & being reprimanded, pac-man & periscopes moving through the background... I don't know, but in the old days of games, little secrets like these seemed more novel & better thought out, more subtle. Now it seem obligatory for games to have easter eggs, no matter how meaningless & taped on they are. The only recent "easter egg" that stick out on my mind, is the secret "Volition offices" level in Summoner, where you were warped to the real world & could chat with Volition staff. |

"No, you fools! Kill the one in the dress!" Heh, I Lol'd. Oh, and special mention for Super Mario 3 where if you held down on a white block you'd drop through the block and land behind the scenery where you could find all manner of secret crap and a whistle that let you skip levels. Class :) |

Under the bridge, near the Mouth of the Panther. sticking with Oblivion: GIANT ENEMY CRAB. Failing that, the inescapable room of Yaoi in DYS_Broadcast is pretty fun. |

When you are in front of her, shelooks at you. When she is looking at you, do back flips and front flips. Continue doing them, and after a while, her boobs will grow bigger Continue doing acrobatics and her boobs will get bigger and bigger. To reverse the effect, crouch under them. |

Also if you have a camera and your battling against beauties...you just don't fight when their armour is off while playing some japanese pop music on the ipod and you get to take photos of them doing poses. |

I second that, the game was full of rad secrets and it's probably some of the reason i whip out that cartridge every now and then and play it! |

Where is such a thing? |
Copy Clerk Posts: 101 Joined: 29 Mar 2008 | Any game that lets you flush toilets. Most of the time when I walk up to toilets in-game they do nothing. But sometimes it flushs, which makes me feel all good inside. (That wasn't weird at all) |
