Gone Gonzo  Posts: 2195 Joined: 4 Jun 2008     | I mostly play the 360 although I'm not one of the rabid degenerates you'll frequently bump into who preaches about all the achievements they have, I would have also said the PS2 if it weren't for the fact that a) you can only provide one answer, b) I spend more time on the 360 than the PS2 and c) I gave my PS2 to my sister since she has no console of her own (isn't that nice of me?)...it shall be missed. From what I've seen, all of them are about as good as each other. |

I've counted my games, not including PSN games, and I have 5 out of about 10 games (I don't count Sould Calibur 4 as my game, my friend bought it for me but he's going to take it back someday anyway.) If I did include PSN games I'd have 7/12 games. And people say there are no games for it? Anyway, I guess the second platform would be PC for flash games if anything. 3rd is just barely the Wii who, if the amount of playing is proportionate to how strong it is, could barely walk a half a killometer. |

I prefer mouse and keyboard for FPS and RTS games, this includes RPGs as well. The consoles lets me play stuff like Guitar Hero, Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive, Teken, Assassins Creed (yea I know it is available for the PC, but I was sick of waiting for the title when it came for Xbox I went out and bought the system only so I could play AC), Mass Effect (was originally an Xbox only title, I was furious when I learned it came for PC as well). I don't own a PS3 my self, but friends have me, and I play alot on theirs. BF Bad Company ftw! Every platform has its own perks and every platform appeals to me. On a note though, as I said I do not own a PS3 nor will i ever. The titles that are PS3 exclusive mean NOTHING to me. Metal Gear is/has/will always be, crap! I love my PC, I love my Xbox and I find it enjoyable to invade the PS3 of mah friends.. :p |

Can it play...Crysis? *OMINOUS MUSIC* Anyway, I'd say my PC is gaming machine. Yeah, PS2 is great to kick back and play Rock Band for a while, blow s**t up in Ace Combat 5 (beat it on hardest difficulty, n00bs), and maybe every here and there I indulge in Vincent Valentine's awesome and play Dirge of Cerberus. And GT3. W00t Viper! So go ahead and have your 360 and Ps3, and your little white cuboid the Wii, I'll stick with my mid-sized PS2 and PC. Only things I'm missing are Rama (really old, for Windows 3.1) and Homeworld 2. (WHY WON'T YOU WORRK?!!? COME BACK TO MEEEEEEEE!!!!) -Terminator7240 PS-Oh, and Rainbow Six 3. Sure the controllers for consoles make it a little nicer to hold but the very basic part of a PC FPS involves about 6-7 buttons (Including the mouse...) Also because of the varitation, if I get bored of a run-off-the-mill FPS I can just swap over to some RTS or RPG games like the Witcher etc. |

I thought the wii was going to be my main console when it came out and I was considering not buying any other console because I really thought it was going to be that much better than everything else, but so far it's only really good for party games and the only games single player games for it that I liked were super mario galaxy and zelda. Now I'm thinking the xbox 360 is my favorite due to it's kickass lineup of games. |

Paperboy  Posts: 15 Joined: 20 Aug 2008 | The only reasons I can think of to buy a PS3 are MGS4 and maybe God of War 3. But even then, 360 is way more worth it. Gears of War, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Prince of Persia, etc. I know most of them are available for PC, but I prefer the controller. Less carpal tunnel and less money out of my wallet lol. For the record, I have owned my 360 since it was released and never once have I had any technical problems nor any red rings. The problem with the PS3? No problem with the PS3, people are just lazy. According to John Carmack, its much easier to program for a 360. |
