Title says it all, what was a moment your gaming life where you just wanted to get up and hurt something or break your disk(or have breaking something) you were so pissed.

And I don't know if this has been posted before...I didn't find it when I looked it up.

WOW when I realized it was just a giant boring time consuming grind. By that point I had already paid $50 for the game and $15 for the month I was playing.

I actually broke a controller on GTA:SA (the mission where you are taking over the mansion and have to chase a guy who's driving a sports car while driving a piece of trash; tried to throw it against my wall, missed, and hit my old entertainment center, made of solid wood).

Broke another controller on SCIII fighting Night Terror (so...cheap...)

Cracked the door of my entertainment center throwing my 360 controller against it while fighting Alpha-152 in DOA4.

Needless to say, I also go through a lot of pencils.

Paper Mario for the Wii; getting stuck has never been so frustrating. I can't think of any others, besides the many times I felt like throwing my computer out the window when playing WoW. I don't play that game anymore.

Oh god I hated that mission, I can understand why you threw it. I can completely understand it,

I never played SCIII fighting Night Terror or DOA4....so I'm guessing I shouldn't?

I actually shattered my n64 controller while playing Pokemon Stadium, it was the final round of the level 50 cup (R2) and there was a Dragonair for my opponent first. It used Thunder Wave, which paralyzes and makes you get 2nd turn no matter what. annoying, but still manageable. Then it uses WRAP, over and over, it did shit for damage but it never ended and when it did, he'd do it again! I smashed my controller then asked my mama to get me another one.....she said no......

Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions. I curse those with every breath left in my body. The amount of times I executed a mission perfectly only to twitch the analogue stick by accident, revealing my lithe, supple body to a hail of guard bullets and a MISSION FAILED screen. More than once I've thrown a controller against the wall due to that. It's probably why I went through so many of the blsated things.

Can't think of any others off hand, but I've thrown my controller down a number of times in frustration, only to pick it back up moments later and grudgingly continue playing. MGS: VR Missions is the only one I can recall where I threw it physically against the wall full force.

Ouch, that sucks, really sucks. And yea I remember fighting that....it was so fucking annoying but I finally got an attack in which paralyzed him and I won

Well that sucks dude, really sucks....never played VR Missions, so I wouldn't know.

AND OH! I forgot to post one of mine.

Well I'm usually able to control myself because I never have money and if I break something I gotta buy a new one, and I can't because of no money. But I almost did break my controller. On COD4...Mile High Club on veteran.....took me forever, I threw my control down on the ground so many times. And then when I finally beat that, I still had to do No fighting in the War Room....another reason why my controller is almost broken.

I did the exact same thing, lol. Same game, same "cup", same opponent, for the same reason.
I guess im not the only one who destroyed a controller on a pokemon game. And I remember that Dragonair took out my entire time, it took about a hour and a half but it did it. Cheap-ass little bugger!

I'm not a big fan of Ninja Gaiden, I played the first one at my friends house, and then my bro bought the 2nd one....I didn't like them that much.

I wholly sympathise. VR missions destroyed both a controller and a small ornament thanks to its difficulty.

O.O good luck with that

I know what you mean when you get pissed off at that game. And besides breaking the whammy bar instead bad at all. My whammy bar is broken, and i hit the whammies a lot faster because of it.

First off, when fighting Night Terror, picture fighting a stronger, faster Abyss on a platform level, and being unable to ring him out. As for Alpha-152...yeah, words cannot describe her.

thebobmaster, I feel you pain. First fighting all the way without continuing once, only to be destroyed by a freak with an incrediblely large sword, health-having combos, and Ring-Outs being ineffective.

Ninja Gaiden 2
-the last section of the game that contains 3 bosses
-the spider clan ninjas that throw exploding shuriken at you from off camera till you die
Even with that stuff, i still like the game as a whole.

there is a game for the original XBOX that pissed me off enough that I crushed the controller into a million little sharp plastic bits the moment I died for the last time. Being blessed with retard strength is a curse at times... I still can't remember what game that was so I must have erased it's name from my memory in an effort to retain sanity.

I personally want to snap Civilization:Revolution in half when the other leaders claim "The pretentious snobbery of your people will soon end" and demand technology or gold for peace when i'm about to steamroll over their entire empire

I generally don't get that mad often, and I have honestly never felt angry enough to throw a controller.

There have been times I've felt terribly fucking mad at my friend, for throwing his controller in anger, just this over a bloody game of super smash bros brawl.
There are times when he's a terrible loser, when the last kill is him doing a self destruct on purpose, then throwing the controller away and walking away saying the game is unfair and too random.

A moment I especially remember is the "A House Of Cards" stage in Hitman: Bloody Money on Professional. I was supposed to kill a white supremacist but for the half hour I was playing the level he never went up to his room or the floor his room was on for that matter, and as such I kept attempting to kill him in the bathroom in the casino but right when I'm about to store his body in a bin in a locked back room of the bathroom some random idiot who keeps taking a piss every thirty seconds would suddenly walk in, see me dragging a corpse and alert the guards.

Another moment is in Test Drive Unlimited during the 180 mile Tour of the Island race. Speeding down the road in a Ferrari Enzo while I slowed to a safe speed of around forty to fifty-five miles per hour to make the final turn in the race that takes about ten to twenty minutes and win thirty-five grand when for absolutely no reason my car pitches forward, lands on its roof and spins out.

In Alone in the Dark... The new version of it..

I was at that point of the game right at the beginning but just before you met your first monster. I had just survived a building almost collapsing and still I had this one particular obstacle in my way... Whenever I latched on to that little wire I had to go up on I of course went all the way up to the man standing on the ledge. I would go with him for a little while and suddenly some pieces of whatsitsface would fall down and crush him and most of the ledge, catapulting me all the way across the building and sending me plummeting to my death... For about 20 times until I reset the 360 and tried again... From the beginning of the FUCKING level!

This time I got it right though... It seems that you can only do it right on the first try, if you try to do it again from the respawn point (there´s no checkpoints in this game) you fail..

Same with the garage area where you have to flee in the car.. I got to the end right at the point where your car is ditched. I went over the ramp in full speed, the crumbling wall almost hitting me, but I still died somehow. That happened 3 times until it suddenly decided to end the torture and let me pass without me doing anything other than what I had done all the time...

That game is fucking evil!

That freakin game made me wish the 360 controller had a cord so I could hamg myself with it and Jack Thompson would go after those evil devs.

Cold Fear is another one that made me so mad I put a hole in a door with my PS2 controller. It survived though. Couldn't include an in game map while every hall looks the same. WTF?

I think I broke a controller once while playing... Smackdown Vs. Raw ?

Now sure. Anyway, Mariokart irritates the living hell out of me. It physically stresses me out to the point where I would gladly take the disc and throw it off of my balcony... But since it's my bro's disk, I can't do that D= I honestly think the game is out to get me.

When playing Pirates of thge Caribean: the legend of jack sparrow (those who played it know how stupidificating awfull the ai is) i reached the level where you have to throw clay warriors(?) to the water. will constantly sworded him the other way around. 2 hours i spent doing this! when i finally did it the other one raped me in the ass, killing me instantly. sorry for the term, but it was what i felt at the moment (damn, this kids got issues)
