BECAUSE I HATE GAMES!

Na, just kidding. I have this stupid thing called work that prevents me from taking part in time eating stuff like this, unless I know about it like, a year or so ahead of time. Though I somehow doubt my boss would like me taking time off to sit at home and play games on the computer.

Not being a regular poster here, I guess my opinion doesn't count.

Short answer is, I only remembered the photoshop competition, and my photoshop skills are somewhere between non-existent and woefully pathetic. No point in embarassing myself any further by trying to compete.

I don't normally participate in anything and didn't care about it (watching real Olympics took up alot of time too)

The GamerLympics is over and even though we had a great turn-out, there seemed to be quite a few members that consistently show up forums that DID NOT participate. So, I was wondering why? Was there events you would have liked to have seen? Didn't have enough time? You were captured by aliens for 2 weeks? I would love to get some feedback so the next one can try to encompass everyone for the next GamerLympics.

Did you actually play any of the 'silly browser games'? Some of them were freakishly hard.

I think the general consensus is that people wanted to play 'real' games. Not that I don't love browser games, but methinks people would like a team challenge with a lot of people at once, where people can socialize with VOIP (etc..), rather than just comparing high scores.

Didn't someone (maybe me) make a thread asking if the escapist had a TF2 server?

Aye, I played a bit. But I kinda expected a full length PvP match in something, and I felt kinda cheated.

For some reason Kongregate games wont load for me.I think it has something to do with my java, because i can't get on youtube or newgrouds either.All other websites work fine though...

Well, everyone wants something different and that is good. It just allows me to make a better GamerLympics in the future, keeping these items in mind. Some, unfortunately, just cannot be done do to all sorts of red-tape and pure laziness on the part of third parties. Yes, I've run into this before.
