Fallout 3, the humor seems gone, Id rather not ruin my experience with fallout 1 and 2

BiA could be good, I enjoyed the first one but completed it before the receipt ran out and took it back. Although it could be interesting to see how the game has developed.

What I really want is a good in depth strategy game, really long tech trees and such. Doesnt seem to be much coming out though, I really wish someone could combine the twitchy fast RTS games with the intelligent city building and maintaining of older strategy games.

Tales of Symphonia:Dawn of the new world (Tales of symphonia is one of my all time favourite games)...and despite the new map system (which i'm not fond of..) this is looking good
Far Cry 2. Again this is a big maybe. Fallout 3 and Fable 2 are both released in the 10 days before this from what I've heard, and three sandbox games is a lot of game to get through.
Prototype (i think it looks good, but it may turn out being a rent.)

Does anyone else think that Resident Evil 5 looks a little...recycled? All the animations are completely the same. Even the enemies. The game looks good, and is probably a buy for me (it's out three days before my birthday), but it just seems kind of lazy on Capcom's part.

The "Don't fix what isn't broken" formula? I dunno, even though Yahtzee shook his fist at anything that doesn't bring originality to the table, I can still see that RE4 was so popular partly due to that new over-the-shoulder view and the control scheme in general.

Men of War & Left 4 Dead are the only upcoming games I have money put aside for order, anything else I will decide to buy nearer or after it's release.

As for older games... I've sort of got my eye on RE4 because I've started thinking it's about time I saw what all the fuss is about. Today I bought HL2+Episodes to do the same thing.

I thought I'd been spending freely recently, that was until I saw Fraughts' "Definitely will buys".
