No no no, you don't understand how much my computer's being a bitch right now.

First of all, I have to reset the internet connection every once in a while, so the internet's a bit bipolar on me.
I tried setting all the visuals on the demo to low, and it froze on me.
Then I rebooted my computer, tried again, same thing happend.
And when I didn't set the visuals to low, left it as standard, it's very sluggish and slow and takes forever to load and sometimes doesn't load at all.

Apparantly the problem is that my DXthingamabob is only DX6 and not DX9, so I need to get a new graphics card because my computer won't update to DX9 for some reason. Problem is, this isn't exactly my own computer, it was my sister's (which I own for now) and I highly doubt my dad would give two shits about upgrading the PC.

And even THEN, there are 120 graphics cards to choose from, all ranging in price from a few dozen to a few hundred and any one of those could be rejected by my motherboard, so if that happens I'm screwed and need to buy a new motherboard.

You see, my computer isn't exactly a "gaming computer", it's a regular computer used to surf the web and work on homework, nothing to extreme. Problem with that is that it would be expensive if i had to refurbish my whole computer instead of building it from the ground up like most people do.

GOD, I hate PC gaming (for now atleast).

DX...6? You must be kidding. That's over 10-year-old tech. HL2 wouldn't even boot up on that, because it requires DX9 to boot up. What the hell are you on about?

If you're on 10-year-old tech, you'll probably have trouble browsing Flash and Javascript heavy sites on that computer...including this one.

Gravel Pit, Warpath2, CTF_Turbine (we have to play at least one ctf game), Dustbowl, Fastlane and Goldrush. 30-40 minute games. Class limits of 2 on the sniper, spy and engineer. All other rules stock. Keep an admin handy to shuffle the teams if they aren't pretty evenly matched.

We should do a good deal of goldrush and dustbowel then maybe some ctf Turbine and CP_gravelpit,Time limits of 30 mins per map. I'm not partial to arena mode ( I hate counter-strike) but whatever, and there should be a class limit of 2 on sniper and 3 on engineer, but not on spy (which is underused anyway and I don't see any reason for capping it)

I've played whole games as a scout in fastlane, I captured the intelligence all 5 times, fairly quickly. I like it.
