How much do you think the full Rock Band, or GH4 set will cost in Australia?

Seeing as we still haven't seen much of Rock Band on the horizon down here, I'd been wondering. Some stores are saying that they might skip RB one altogether and go straight to number two. And that we might see at least one of the Rock Band titles or GH4 at least before Christmas this year.

That got me thinking... How much will this full package of plastic fun cost? GH3 came at a nice retail price of $160 or so, but now we have drums and a microphone. Whew boy. I'm hoping it wont be over $250 - I mean, we're bulk buying here, come on!

What do you predict?

Too much. As usual. I'm guessing about $300.

Yeah EB Games website has Rock Band at $289 for the bundle.

Gonna have to work a fair few extra shifts to get that...

Nope, it's Australian dollars. These days our dollar is pretty similar but apparently that doesn't matter to games stores.

Rock Band was only $170 or something in America.

Jesus Christ...if you need someone to smuggle games in, I still have two kidneys. I can give up one...

Edit: BTW, to those curious, they are paying US$240.

Ha!
I honestly don't care what the release price is cause i know i'm not gonna be able to get a copy. Even if i do, i don't think i'll quite agree with the release price. If either is under $250 i MAY consider it

It's funny how those things will soon become legal currency.

Anyway, I doubt they'll make the price soft. $340 at least, basing on the fact that games in Australia cost about double the US price.

How much do you think the full Rock Band, or GH4 set will cost in Europe?
And how much will it take time for Americans to stop whinin...oh, you're an Australian.
Still, the game nor the bundle hasn't even been released in my country, and I don't think it will.
And why don't you just search the prize from the in-der-ned?

The price for Rock Band 1 in the UK was outrageous. Like, insulting. More than twice the price. If EA try and pull that shit again, then they can forget it.

Yeah I've pointed that out, hate to quote myself but...

Never trust EB.

JB Hi-Fi is the way to go in Oz.

Anyway, Rock Band is going to cost a bomb over here. I just don't know what to say in these situations. Is it the Americans that are ripping us off or our stores?
